Destiny 2 is one of the most feature-rich FPS titles available currently. Years of expansions and DLC content had made this game massive, so massive that Bungie will be removing some of the game’s older content when Beyond Light launches. One of these islands of content is Black Armory, a DLC themed around crafting powerful weapons. Some of these weapons have incredible rolls that have not been surpassed since. Before these weapons go away, players should look to unlocking the Black Armory forges to make a few of these coveted weapons....

Destiny 2 fans will want to make sure they have their favorite exotics and emblems on their characters, as Bungie is disabling the current collections in-game the week before Forsaken launches. This will affect emblem and exotic collections, which will be turned back on after Forsaken launches. Bungie is temporarily suspending the service to pave the way for the updated collections system that comes with Forsaken. While the service is suspended, Destiny 2 players will no longer be able to pull exotics and emblems from their collection in their vault, so players will want to make sure they have any must-have exotics or emblems on-hand before the weekly reset on August 28....

Prior to Destiny 2’s release, developer Bungie found itself creating controversy when it confirmed that the game’s console frame rate would be locked at 30 FPS. But while Bungie was able to establish that the game would still look great, Destiny 2 players now say that the game certainly doesn’t look great all the time. Across social media, Destiny 2 players have been complaining that the game suffers from frame rate drops and has done so since the game launched earlier this month....

Just yesterday, the video game developer Bungie officially released Destiny 2’s latest expansion, Warmind, leading to Guardians everywhere jumping into action to experience all that the DLC has to offer. Along with the freshly launched add-on, the studio also incorporated a new Crucible ranking system to Season 3, with the competitive playlist offering a more intense ranking system called Glory, which increases with each win, and decreases with losses. Today, one diehard player earned the new must-have Crucible Rank weapon tied to Glory – that is, Redrix’s Claymore – in 12 hours....

Just ahead of the launch of Curse of Osiris on December 5, the Destiny 2 Instagram page has posted a number of pictures featuring a preview of the gear that will be coming with the game’s first major expansion. The first group of pictures features some new exotics that players will be able to earn, however, the names for these exotics have yet to be revealed, and their unique perks also remain a mystery....

After three years, Destiny 2 may be heading for its biggest evolution the franchise has ever seen inside of its upcoming expansion. Not only is Bungie introducing the Destiny Content Vault, a method of removing legacy content from the game, but players are also seeing new subclasses based on the Darkness as well as other general overhauls to mechanics like triumphs and the UI. With two months still to go before the Beyond Light expansion ushers in a new era for players, speculation as to what else Bungie may be hiding has reached a fever pitch....

When 2011’s Catherine re-released last year as Catherine: Full Body, it added a plethora of new content for fans to enjoy. New stages, story content, scenes, and more were added, with some notably large features making the game even better, such as online play and a whole new character called Rin. Rin is a new love interest for Vincent and turns the once love-triangle into a love-quadrangle for the new and improved Full Body release....

Fortnite players have been eagerly awaiting a battle between two behemoths, and all signs point toward it finally taking place this weekend. Fortnite is currently the uncrowned king of in-game events. Epic Games needs to keep its 10 million players entertained after all. In recent seasons, we have seen Marshmello perform a live concert on Fortnite Island, a blizzard cover the map in snow, and were all taken to what we’re assuming was limbo during a cutscene....

Gamers have a tendency to collect things, even when it may not be the most practical purchasing decision. The situation is sometimes made worse when resellers are involved, as they’ll often put things online at grossly inflated prices with the hope of making a quick buck, something many people have been doing with a Cyberpunk 2077 jacket given out to certain E3 2019 attendees. However, CD Projekt Red is putting out a version of the Cyberpunk 2077 jacket on their merch store for less and is warning fans to avoid malicious resellers....

Code Vein has been called the anime version of Dark Souls. While in terms of design the former is true, and in terms of mechanics the latter is also accurate, the game certainly has its own unique flair. Because of all this flair, and engaging gameplay, it is quite easy to miss a few important points and interesting facts during playthroughs. This is especially true for the games post-release DLC content....

The whole “toys to life” game/action figure model trailblazed by Skylanders has become one of the hottest trends around, with Disney Infinity leaping aboard the bandwagon and bringing with it some of the most popular pop-culture franchises in existence. Infinity’s initial edition in 2013 included Disney/Pixar characters such as Captain Jack Sparrow, the Incredibles, and Sulley from Monsters, Inc. The 2.0 update added one of Disney’s crown jewels, the Marvel superheroes....

Pokemon’s 25th anniversary is this month, and to celebrate, The Pokemon Company is partnering with McDonald’s to release a special set of 25 Pokemon cards. The special set of cards includes the three starter Pokemon from each of Pokemon’s eight generations of games, plus honorary starter Pokemon and franchise mascot Pikachu. The set has proved to be incredibly popular, but perhaps too popular, as there have been so many reports of people hoarding the McDonald’s cards to resell them online at a high markup that the fast-food giant has had to release a statement encouraging its franchises to set a limit on how many Pokemon Happy Meals a customer can buy....

Microsoft has been struggled with its exclusives over the years, with many first-party titles on the Xbox One being critical failures or outright canceled. Then, of course, there are games stuck in development hell, the most prominent of which currently being Crackdown 3, the city-leveling game featuring Terry Crews that may be getting delayed yet again. The news originally broke via Kotaku’s Jason Schreier, who received the information from two unnamed sources close to the project, which should now be released sometime in Spring 2019 if they are to be believed....

Only twenty-four hours left until Crytek Studios unveils the first Crysis 3 gameplay trailer - which, unsurprisingly, should set the bar for near-photo-realistic graphics on the current generation of consoles. Prior Crysis titles, both Crysis 2 and the Crysis HD downloadable installment, are still gorgeous looking - even with titles like Uncharted 3 and Halo 4 milking their respective console tech for everything its (seemingly) worth. That said, Crysis 3 wouldn’t be a Crytek Studios offering if it wasn’t positioned to, once again, blow everything else out of the water and deliver the most realistic looking first person shooter title on the market....

Last year, Studio MDHR announced that its critically acclaimed run and gun game Cuphead would receive post-launch support in the form of a Cuphead DLC package called “The Delicious Last Course.” Now, the developer is back with a short new trailer for Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course, and it has also provided an update on when this DLC will be available. Initially planned to launch in 2019, the Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course release date is now set for 2020, a delay that Studio MDHR has recently elaborated on....

Elves are a storied and longstanding fantasy race across books, movies, and games. They often can be a bit arrogant, but they are always incredibly beautiful. There are also Dark Elves – a sub-species with darker skin than, more often than not, is made to be evil. For Dungeons & Dragons, this species is the Drow. They were first given stats in the first Fiend Folio in 1981 then made a playable race in 1985 in the Unearthed Arcana....

Dark Souls 2 is something of a black sheep among the beloved FromSoftware titles, As there are many with mixed feelings about its standing in the trilogy. Despite this, there exists a small but passionate group of gamers that love the awkward Dark Souls middle child, and they are doing everything they can to keep the fire from fading. “Return to Drangleic” is an annual community event in which gamers flock back to the game all at once, allowing for the full experience including PVP and co-op to be relived in a way that wouldn’t be possible without this type of planning....

Bandai Namco and From Software release the launch trailer for the Ashes of Ariandel DLC, the first portion of additional content for intimidating action RPG Dark Souls 3. Even though many a gamer has made their way through the entirety of Dark Souls 3 by now, developer From Software still has plenty of tricks up its sleeves in order to keep the most hardened of gamers on their toes. For starters, the developer has now released the first DLC pack for the title, named Ashes of Ariandel....

As everyone who’s ever played a Dark Souls title before will attest, this series absolutely doesn’t take it easy on newcomers. Or anyone else. It’s wall-to-wall unique, creative, challenging bosses and deviously difficult areas.
