Cyberpunk 2077 has had a rough week. Early Cyberpunk 2077 reviews were largely positive, though it turned out those reviews were for versions of the game running on high-end PCs, and not the console versions. Shortly after launch, it became apparent that there were serious issues with the Cyberpunk 2077 console versions, and those problems combined with the typical crop of bugs often found in open world games caused CD Projekt Red to promise refunds to any disgruntled consumers....

In an interview with the Polish edition of Elle Man, Chris Hemsworth suggested he’d like to stay on in the iconic role of Norse thunder god Thor after the upcoming Thor: Blood and Thunder. When asked if he would be passing on the role to a female incarnation of Thor, Hemsworth answered “Are you crazy ?! I’m not going into any retirement period, Thor is way too young for that. He’s only 1500 years old!...

The SKS is one of two new weapons added to Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare as a part of saason 3, obtained for free after reaching tier 31 in the battle pass. In both base Modern Warfare and in Warzone’s battle royale, the SKS is a great weapon to have on hand. It is arguably one of the best guns in the DMR class and has enough customization options to make it work for anyone’s playstyle....

Cosplayer Christina Volkova (Likeassassin) is dedicated to bringing some of your favorite icons to life, and she’s done it again with her take on a Triss cosplay decked out in Cyberpunk 2077 gear....

After being a major highlight for Microsoft at gamescom 2015, Crackdown 3 essentially vanished from the public eye, even skipping out on E3 this past year. While the game has suffered numerous delays, it appears things are about to heat up for the open world action game as the official Twitter account confirms that more information is on the horizon. The upcoming action RPG Cris Tales has unveiled a Collector’s Edition bundle of the game and limited edition items via Maximum Games Store, though the official release date is still unknown. At 2019’s E3 event, Cris Tales became one of the most highly anticipated indie RPGs after being nominated for the Game of Show and Best RPG awards. It was initially slated for a November 17, 2020 release and has free demos currently available, but Cris Tales was unfortunately delayed to this year due to its development taking longer than expected, possibly thwarted by Covid-19 restrictions....

Since the announcement that Crytek’s famed first-person shooter Crysis would be getting a remaster for the current generation, fans have eagerly been awaiting news about the new version. Crysis Remastered was officially announced with a teaser trailer in April that gave little away, but gameplay footage is set to be revealed later this week. The original 2007 Crysis was well known as the game that would melt computers. It was ahead of its time with stunningly realistic graphics, lifelike AI, and a nanosuit full of super-powers that set it apart from the average shooter....

While generally Crytek products, like the forthcoming Crysis 3, tend to speak for themselves, it’s best sometimes to get insight into how the magic the developer is able to achieve is accomplished. Cuphead fans hungry for The Delicious Last Course are going to be waiting a little longer for their first taste. Announced today via the Xbox Wire Blog, Studio MDHR will be taking a little more time to make sure their upcoming DLC isn’t completely half-baked. Players can now expect to sink their teeth into the expansion sometime in 2020. “While we initially announced a 2019 release date for the Delicious Last Course expansion,” wrote Chad Moldenhauer, “our highest priority is making sure this new adventure meets the meticulous level of care and quality we always strive for....

One of Fallout 4’s strokes of genius is the complex and engaging companion system that provides players with an opportunity to develop a genuine bond was an NPC partner, learn about their rich backstory, and help with some unfinished business. The writing for companions missions in Fallout 4 is some of the most interesting and layered in the game. Of the 13 companions available in Fallout 4, none are more intriguing than the robot companion Curie....

Folks at CD Projekt Red continue to excite fans with news after news on Cyberpunk 2077, an upcoming cyberpunk RPG based on the Cyberpunk TTRPG. Moreover, thanks to the depth of mechanics involved in Cyberpunk, it’s no question Cyberpunk 2077 will have some of the TTRPG’s mechanics in its gameplay. Additionally, this factor means players will likely encounter the same set of basic rules and concepts. As such, these concepts include classes, the same depth in abilities, and potentially the same narrative depth of the setting....

The lifepaths of Cyberpunk 2077 may not have delivered as much color as many players would have wanted, but they make up an essential part of dialogues and choices during a variety of quests. Sometimes, certain lifepaths can make some aspects of quests and relationships easier to build, if V can relate to the NPCs better through their own experiences. Streetkid is without a doubt the best adjusted lifepath for the main story of Cyberpunk 2077....

It’s been a surprising launch week for Cyberpunk 2077, a game which for most fans was their most anticipated 2020 release. After 8 years of development and numerous delays, Cyberpunk 2077 had a disasterous launch, especially on base current gen platforms like the Xbox One and PS4. While not as prevalent on next gen consoles, PC, or higher end current gen consoles, the amount of technical and performance issues has led companies like Sony to delist the game from its online store while numerous outlets are offering full refunds to players....

Since this last week’s third Night City Wire event, Cyberpunk 2077 is releasing a heap of content in preparation for the game’s release in November. In addition to some new trailers, the devs at CD Projekt Red have created a fake ’tourism’ website for Cyberpunk 2077, giving more details about Night City. The devs at CD Projekt Red are well known for excellent world-building, which was evident in its other hit game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt....

Microsoft unveiled today that Cyberpunk 2077 will be considered once more under its standard refund policy, specifically for Xbox digitally-purchased games. Previously, refunds were distributed for some Cyberpunk consumers on Xbox who purchased the game on the Microsoft Store, which goes against the company’s policy of all digital game sales being final upon completing a purchase. As per Microsoft’s standard refund policy: “All sales of Digital Game Products are considered final, but we understand there may be extenuating circumstances....

Dark Souls has staked its claim to the boss battle throne ever since its debut in 2011, not counting 2009’s Demon’s Souls, with fans hotly debating what the best bosses in the series are. With over 70 possible choices, it’s easy to see why the crown tends to change hands so much. However, the often forgotten bosses of the series are those that players aren’t forced to take on. With so many retries already going into the main storyline, it’s no surprise that some players try and avoid as many of the grueling struggles as possible....

The Dark Souls trilogy’s overlooked middle-child, Dark Souls II, has the highest Metascore of the trilogy but is considered to be the weakest entry in the entire Soulsborne catalog by most fans. At its core, the game is very similar to its predecessors Dark Souls and Demon’s Souls, but there were a few tweaks that irritated fans. FromSoftware did redeem itself with Dark Souls II, however, by supplementing the game with some of their best set of DLCs to date....

DC Festival of Heroes: The Asian Superhero Celebration, is a timely new anthology showcasing DC’s Asian superheroes. Arriving in May for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, it presents many of the top Asian storytellers of comics. Included in the 100 page commemorative anthology is an original 12-page story by Gene Luen Yang and Bernard Chang. “The Monkey Prince Hates Superheroes” introduces a new DC superhero who teams up with Shazam to battle Doctor Sivana and a Chinese deer demon....
