And most importantly - in a world where people carve off parts of themselves and replace them with robotic augmentations - it’s more human. Like The Witcher 3 before it, Cyberpunk 2077 takes place in a vast open world....

After rumors about a Dark Souls remaster for the Nintendo Switch spread around the internet yesterday, Nintendo officially announced Dark Souls Remastered for release on May 25, 2018. Fans of From Software’s dark fantasy RPG series have been speculating about future releases ever since the release of Dark Souls 3 last year. From Software has been very open about not having plans for more Dark Souls content, but this evidently doesn’t apply to remasters....
Dating apps like Tinder and Bumble have grown popular thanks to game-styled features like swiping left and right to match with other users, but one app called Kippo is looking to take its experience up a notch with a dating and social app designed for gamers. The idea’s gotten the startup app $2 million in venture funding from several parties, including some of the same investment partners that got Tinder off the ground....
Dead Cells on mobile is getting a bit more content at the end of the month, as The Bad Seed DLC will be available on March 30. The challenging add-on will bring new levels, enemies, and the difficult Mama Tick boss. The announcement was made by Playdigious, which also released an animated short to celebrate the occasion. Destiny 2 players may notice a bug that is not counting Heroic Strike Playlist progression towards their weekly milestone and the Sleeper Simulant pursuit, but Bungie has a fix. The developer acknowledged the bug in a known issues post on its official site, and offers a few solutions that should help players get credit for their completed strikes. Earlier today, players began reporting a bug where Heroic Strike Playlist completions were not counting towards the weekly milestone (requires 5 completions) or the new Sleeper Simulant pursuit....
One of the reasons that a game like Destiny 2 is so appealing online is because its developer tends to keep things a mystery. Bungie would rather let players discover things for themselves than have everything laid out from the beginning. It’s for that reason that Destiny 2 players are doing a lot of testing to figure out how useful (or not useful) certain items are. For example, one Destiny 2 player did some extensive testing to determine how effective the Recovery stat is on armor and mods....
While developer Bungie has yet to officially reveal the new Power level cap that players will grind toward in the new Shadowkeep expansion coming this fall, keen-eyed fans have spotted some Power level numbers in some of the latest Destiny 2 behind-the-scenes featurette videos. Similar Power level numbers seen in demos, at tradeshows like E3, or in other development videos have been placeholders before, so this number may not be final....

Following a holiday break, Bungie is back and looking to start making updates and changes to its hit first person shooter, Destiny 2. As detailed in this week’s blog post, Bungie is taking aim at the Hunter Revenant subclass in PvP game modes like Trials of Osiris and the Crucible. As such, the popular ability Shatterdive is getting significant nerfs to range and damage against non-frozen targets. The fragment Whisper of Fissures is also getting tweaked as it’s an item that is commonly paired with Shatterdive for maximum effect....
Bungie canceled its final livestream event for Destiny 2’s forthcoming Curse of Osiris expansion release, but it’s now providing the content meant to be shared on that livestream separately. In today’s “This Week at Bungie” blog, interim community guru dmg04 released a new trailer showcasing new weapons, armor, and even emotes that will be found within Curse of Osiris. The trailer is perhaps not as informative and focused as some players would have liked, potentially because specific details were intended to be covered as part of the livestream rather than in the trailer itself....
Full details haven’t even been revealed for Destiny 2 yet, and already news is surfacing regarding the game’s DLC. While most has been surface level information, the latest bit of news allegedly reveals the release windows for the game’s 2 planned DLC expansions. A leaked fact sheet suggests that, much like Destiny 1, Destiny 2 will release its first DLC expansion in the winter of 2017 and a second one in the spring of 2018....
After very vocal concern from Destiny 2 players, Bungie has reduced the requirements necessary for completing the new “The Lie” weapon quest. Now, the community will not have to complete as many Seraph Tower public events in order to progress the quest from Ana Bray and eventually claim the Felwinter’s Lie shotgun. When the quest first appeared, the Destiny 2 community was understandably frustrated by Bungie’s decision to focus on Seraph Tower public events....
The developers behind Destiny 2 have said that the game’s story and campaign is bigger and more cinematic than Destiny 1’s ever was. This may be good news considering that it appears it will be the only PvE content that players will engage with for a good portion of the game. According to a new article from Edge Magazine, the Patrols and Strikes that make up a bulk of the other PvE content in Destiny 2 won’t unlock until the final third of the campaign....

Cartoon Network Studios is bringing back another piece of animated media from our childhoods and giving it a big makeover. The studio has announced Friday that it will be rebooting its shorts program appropriately titled Cartoon Cartoons, which will aim to exhibit a diverse array of animated shorts on Cartoon Network for the first time in 18 years.
