Those who remember Demon’s Souls’ unforgiving tutorial from the PS3 will be delighted to know that the PS5 version is just as grim, if not more so. FromSoftware’s penchant for pitting unbeatable bosses against you in the tutorial continues in the remake. If you have the reflexes to beat the Vanguard Demon, then there’s another grisly end that awaits you, and the PS5 remake exploits that. Thanks to IGN, an early gameplay video featuring the Demon’s Souls tutorial showcased an additional feature to the game’s introductory phase, and it is not for the squeamish....

With only a few days left until E3 2015, Destiny players are anxiously anticipating wait Bungie has in store for their first major expansion. Current rumors have the expansion titled The Taken King and offering the regular bounty of new Destiny content, including that new raid Bungie is reportedly working. The story of Destiny 2 is an ever-evolving one but as Season of the Dawn comes to an end and the community gears up to deal the last desperate bid of The Red Legion (for like the third time), there remains several unfulfilled storylines just waiting to be expanded. One of the biggest ones is the still vacant Hunter Vanguard position. Bungie stated that they wanted Cayde-6’s absence to be felt but it’s now been a year and a half since Uldren Sov put a bullet in everyone’s favorite Exo, and the Tower is no closer to naming his successor....

Nearly every planet in Destiny 2 is packed with secrets to discover. Besides Lost Sectors and hidden High-Value Targets that dot each patrol space, there are certain locations that have sets of collectible items for players to find. Shadowkeep’s Moon setting has its own secrets to uncover, one of which being Small Rice Cakes. Slayerage and Epicookiez, the talented Destiny and Destiny 2 duo, have conquered another impressive, self-imposed challenge. The Destiny 2 Leviathan raid’s final boss, Calus, has been defeated. As many Guardians will likely attest, Destiny 2’s Last Wish raid is one of, if not the most difficult activity that Bungie has added to its science fiction shooter sequel yet, with there still being some players who have yet to even reach the power level required to give it a go. Be that as it may, one Guardian just recently was not only able to tackle the raid successfully, but also managed to receive two rare drops in a row following its completion....

Next week is going to be a big one for Destiny 2 players. The Age of Triumph event may have officially “ended” earlier this week, but Destiny players looking to purchase their commemorative t-shirt are in luck. Bungie has extended the redemption window for redeeming an Age of Triumph shirt code until the end of August. Although Age of Triumph was billed as an event meant to celebrate everything Destiny 1, with some in-game rewards as well, the focus for many players was the shirt....

Now that Destiny’s third raid is here, fireteams are furiously battling their way through hordes of enemies for their shot to take down the Taken King, Oryx. As with past raids, the first time through King’s Fall Raid is most definitely the toughest, and is easily taking fireteams over ten hours to complete, if they even get that far. THQ Nordic has released over 9 minutes of new gameplay footage from its upcoming furry action RPG, Biomutant. It’s the summer, and so this is the time when most developers and publishers would all be getting together in California to celebrate E3. Only, coronavirus. So instead, everyone is just releasing trailers and calling it a day. Except for THQ Nordic and Swedish developer Experiment 101. They’ve released a 9-and-a-half minute long trailer that shows so much gameplay footage that it’s probably making Microsoft feel nervous even though Biomutant is only for current-gen consoles (and PC via Steam)....

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 fans have been looking forward to the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con ever since it was announced that the game’s Zombies mode would be revealed at the event. Zombies remains one of the most popular Call of Duty game modes for good reason, and fans are excited to see the innovators of Zombies, Treyarch, return to the helm. Black Ops 3 enthusiasts were not disappointed, as Treyarch did indeed unveil Zombies as it will appear in the new game....
