We should be used to Cyberpunk 2077 delays by now, but the recent news that Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed until December 10 seems to have hit fans especially hard. While some of those fan frustrations can be attributed to their “But I want it now!” outlook, the disappointment, confusion, and even anger over this recent delay certainly seems to have something to do with recent updates regarding Cyberpunk 2077‘s development which complicate how fans are dealing with this information....

Two months ago, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was officially revealed during Microsoft’s E3 press conference. Next week, fans and media will finally have the opportunity to go hands-on with the game developed by the team behind Bloodborne and the Dark Souls series. At Gamescom, which runs from August 21st through the 25th in Cologne, Germany, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be playable during the convention, according to the game’s official twitter....

Dead by Daylight’s fifteenth killer has been unveiled during a special livestream event. The Plague, who has been teased as Dead by Daylight’s next Killer for some time now, was unveiled via a cinematic trailer. The Plague will be included in Dead by Daylight’s upcoming Demise of the Faithful patch, the eleventh chapter DLC for the multiplayer horror game, which will be releasing soon. In the cinematic trailer, a woman can be heard speaking what must be Latin in-between heavy coughs....

On the one hand, the game is arguably one of the greatest survival horror titles ever produced On the other hand, it is the poster child of how corporate meddling can ruin a franchise and even a studio. Yet EA is ready to try again with a remake of the original Dead Space that is creeping just around the corner, ready to pounce on unsuspecting gamers....

Game developer Hideo Kojima has teased Death Stranding character reveals in a new post on social media. A partial image of a new poster for the hotly anticipated game seems to confirm that the game will feature several other big stars, in addition to those who have been announced. On May 9, Kojima posted an image of a section of a new poster for Death Stranding. The image is captioned with “various trial and error” and “crappy” (translated from Japanese), which suggests Kojima is poking fun at his sub-par poster-making skills....

Of all the major entertainment mediums out there, video games are perhaps the least festive of the bunch. Hollywood has Home Alone and Miracle on 34th Street, literature The Grinch, and A Christmas Carol, and the music industry; well they have more Christmas jingles than you can shake a candy cane at. The Demon’s Souls Remake by Bluepoint Games and SIE Japan Studio managed to be one of the best launch games on either the Xbox Series X or PS5. The fact that it was a console exclusive helped bolster the PS5 as millions of gamers were excited to dive back into the FromSoftware title that started their recent decade in excellence. The game kept many of its same charms and flaws, but there were a decent amount of changes....

Given its popularity it’s safe to say that most Destiny players are still recovering from the recent Destiny 2 console beta. Bungie’s sequel offered a vision of the future that was certainly polarizing, but it was certainly new. There’s good news for those Destiny 2 players who can’t see themselves living without their Better Devils or IKELOS shotgun—Bungie says all the gear in the game will carry over into Destiny 2: Forsaken, the major expansion coming to the game this September. Destiny 2: Forsaken is ready to deliver all new weapons and gear to players this fall, including a new bow weapon type as well as introduce random weapon rolls, but those old favorites will still remain relevant....

A Destiny 2 writer confirmed on Twitter yesterday that legendary guardians Saint-14 and Osiris are both gay and romantically involved, shocking absolutely no one that is even marginally engaged with the story. Unfortunately, not everyone is taking the “news” very well. Cries of retconning and agenda have been taking over my Twitter timeline this weekend as the gamers are reminded that gay people exist, even in Destiny. If you’re someone that thinks the Saint-14/Osiris relationship is illegitimate, then you simply haven’t been paying attention....

While a plethora of Guardians are almost assuredly gearing up for the forthcoming Prestige Leviathan Raid in the video game developer Bungie’s science fiction shooter sequel Destiny 2, the game’s director, Christopher Barrett, is already looking further into the future. As it so happens, the developer recently took to Twitter to ask fans for their suggestions regarding the first expansion for the title. As seen in the tweet below from his official Twitter account, Barrett opens the floor to the Destiny 2 community in order to learn what they would most like to see come in the game’s first expansion pack....

The Destiny Companion app, accessed on mobile devices or on desktop through Bungie.net, has been the official source for a plethora of information and functions over the three-year lifespan of Destiny 1. Activity and vendor information, the collection of lore called the Grimoire, gear management, LFG forums, and more have all been accessed through it. But with the impending release of Destiny 2, the app is getting an update. The game’s developer, Bungie, detailed some of the new and returning functionality of the app in their weekly blog....

Bungie may have said it will not reveal anything about Destiny 2’s upcoming Leviathan raid but that hasn’t stopped some leaks from making their way online. The latest offers some substantial details about the endgame experience, and paints a pretty compelling picture. Of course, it goes without saying, but the following information will contain potential SPOILERS for the Leviathan raid in Destiny 2. Obviously, we don’t know if these details are legitimate, but it’s better to be safe than sorry if you plan on going into the raid completely blind....

It may have taken 18 hours to beat the Last Wish raid for the first time after the launch of Destiny 2: Forsaken, but now players are getting the raid down to a science. And a competitive race to hold the world record for the fastest speedrun of Last Wish has led to runs of the massive raid coming in at under 24 minutes. There’s a bit of a back-and-forth race between Slayerage and members of The Legend Himself clan and Gladd from clan Redeem (the same duo that 2-manned the Riven fight together) for the fastest speedrun of Last Wish, but as of the writing of this article, Slayerage and his clan just posted a run of the raid in 23 minutes and 42 seconds....

Beyond Light’s reimagining of Destiny 2 may be a few weeks out, but eager players have already started to solve some of Bungie’s new secrets. Though the game is not available until November 10, collector’s editions are arriving early — and coming with a special puzzle for clever Destiny 2 players to decipher. The light-up Splinter of Darkness from Destiny 2: Beyond Light’s collector’s edition is where the puzzle began, as the item is a bit more than just a light-up replica....

Destiny 2 is making some bold changes to the way it handles character power in Season 14, as this time the max power cap will only increase by 10 points. Bungie recently revealed a lot of information about the upcoming Season 14, and even though fans still don’t know what its name will be, all of this new information is keeping fans busy for the time being. Out of everything that was shared, one of the most peculiar decisions is how Bungie is now going to handle power increases with each new season....

Even though Destiny 2 has been putting out some impressive numbers, new reports appear to suggest that Bungie’s latest shooter has sold significantly fewer physical copies that its predecessor. In the United States, physical game sales for Destiny 2 declined more than 50 percent in the month of September versus the first month of the original Destiny release. These statistics are unable to account for digital sales, but it seems that Destiny 2 is faltering with its physical release in comparison to the title that birthed the franchise....

About a month ago, it was declared that Bungie’s science fiction shooter Destiny 2 managed to succeed in having the biggest console game launch for 2017 so far, with loads of veteran Guardians and newbies alike flocking to the sequel upon its release. With this being the case, it’s safe to presume that plenty of players have encountered an incredibly annoying bug that has caused crashes while loading into the Tower social space, but thankfully, the latest update for the game seems to have rectified the issue....
