It has been a long while since Bandai Namco announced that Chronoa would be playable character in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’s roster. After a long wait for the Supreme Kai of Time to get her moment to shine, she’ll finally debut this week. Chronoa will arrive to join the heroes and villains of the franchise in Xenoverse 2 on August 26. This will be Chronoa’s debut as a playable character within the Xenoverse franchise despite her prominent role within the original game....

Gamers interested in the upcoming co-operative game A Way Out will be happy to learn that it has officially gone gold. For the unfamiliar, “going gold” means that a game’s production is completed, and the studio is now ready to mass produce copies on discs for retail sale. The news was officially announced by the director of A Way Out, Josef Fares, who was evidently excited to reiterate that the game is due to arrive on March 23, 2018....

The recent showcase for Resident Evil Village demonstrated a variety of new gameplay features and graphical advancements that left fans of the franchise in a frenzy, hotly anticipating the release. While many of the new additions to this sequel were praised, by far the most discussed element of the game was the reveal of the new towering vampiric antagonist Lady Dimitrescu. Master Chief (7 feet) The now iconic series protagonist and flagship mascot for the Xbox brand, Master Chief stands tall both in terms of measurement and fueling the continued popularity of the Halo series....

Grand Theft Auto 6 fans have been clamoring for news on the game, analyzing every new piece of content released for GTA Online for clues. However, fans have now discovered a potential Grand Theft Auto 6 clue hidden in Rockstar’s Max Payne 3, which launched all the way back in May of 2012. In Max Payne 3, there is a poster listing tour dates for the band Love Fist. As it so happens, most of the dates line up with the release dates for various Rockstar Games titles, and the cities listed by the dates even match their corresponding games....

Destiny remains one of the most popular current-gen games since releasing last year with an estimated 2 billion hours having already been logged by players. Looking to continue on its success, Bungie is planning big updates to the experience, starting with Destiny: The Taken King. With this massive expansion, Bungie is transitioning Destiny into Season Two, updating the game with a number of new features, gameplay content, and even fixing a few issues that fans have with the game including a completely redone experience progression system beyond player level 20....

Destiny 2’s Last Wish raid holds many secrets, including the mysterious Wall of Wishes, which allows players to cast wishes that alter the raid in various ways. While there are a couple of wishes still undiscovered, the Thirteenth Wish was discovered last night, and it imposes quite a challenge on any fireteam who casts it. The Thirteenth Wish triggers “Petra’s Run” in the Last Wish raid. Petra’s Run means that if any Destiny 2 player dies at any point in the entire raid, the fireteam is sent back to orbit and has to restart from the beginning....

If nothing else, Destiny 2 is fantastic at always giving you one more mystery to solve when you least expect it. These extra little quests that you stumble across are always worth your time, especially The Lost Souvenir quest. That’s assuming you’re able to unravel the mystery and actually complete the quest, though. This one, in particular, is one of the game’s more difficult puzzles, but will earn you a rare reward well worth the effort....

After reaching level 50 in Destiny 2: Forsaken, players will unlock a set of quests that will reward powerful gears from both Zavalla the Strike Vanguard and Shaxx the Crucible Vanguard. Their quests revolve around completing the activity (strike or crucible) wearing a full set of armor Strike/Crucible armor. However, some players are having trouble completing the Crucible quest and now Bungie has cleared things up. While some players likely spent dozens if not hundreds of Crucible tokens in an attempt to get a full set of armor from Shaxx, no one was able to get a full set....

Along with the Moments of Triumph for Year 2, Destiny 2 added the Tribute Hall this week, which currently requires a significant amount of materials in order to complete this early into its existence. And as players have now discovered, what they get in return as the final reward for completing the Tribute Hall may not be worth the effort. At least not right now. Destiny 2 streamer Gigz says it took him significant amounts Legendary Shards, planetary materials, and hours of time to get enough of the game’s currencies in order to get all the Tributes necessary to complete the Tribute Hall....

Bungie sent the Season of Arrivals off with a bang with a new live event, coordinating not only the arrival of the Darkness with the planned server maintenance ahead of the Beyond Light expansion’s release. Even with Destiny 2 being under maintenance, players have been able to glean a bit more information about the expansion, however, this time it isn’t from a leak or datamining. Visiting the Bungie Store shows off a brand new inventory meant to coincide with the new expansion, including some new earnable rewards....

Just a few weeks away from the launch of Destiny 2’s first expansion, Curse of Osiris, Bungie has revealed one of the Crucible maps included in the DLC. The map in question is called Pacifica, and it is located on top of one of the massive ocean rigs on the moon of Titan. Those who played the campaign and PvE content of Destiny 2 will recognize Titan as the ocean moon that hosts a number of Hive and Fallen enemy types....

Capcom is giving fans a peek behind the curtain for their upcoming Monster Hunter Rise, a Switch-exclusive entry into the Monster Hunter franchise. Over the past few days, the official Monster Hunter Twitter has been posting exclusive looks at the game’s concept artwork. Specifically, they have shown off concept art for the Magnamalo monster, environmental items, and given sneak peeks at two armor sets within the game. The concept art for some of the game’s monsters highlights how vicious, and similar to previous titles, the world of the game will be....

The beta weekends for COD: Black Ops - Cold War have kicked off and players are already experimenting and devising the best tactics to get that early edge over the competition. While there will certainly be changes made when the full game releases on November 13, not just in terms of balancing the guns already seen but presumably adding more, a meta has already started to form around the best guns in the beta....

It’s no secret at this point that collector’s editions for gaming’s biggest releases are way out of hand, as evidenced by the reveal of a minifridge set to accompany Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 later this year. On the other hand, Halo 5: Guardians looks set to offer a bonus that’s much more appropriate, and will certainly please fans of the series. Said bonus is an animated adaptation of The Fall of Reach, one of the most important events in the fictional universe that precedes the Halo games....

Announced just a few months ago, the long-rumored Final Fantasy 16 was confirmed and set for a 2021 release on the next-gen PS5. Shown during the PS5’s big showcase in September, Final Fantasy 14 may have been pleasantly surprised by what they saw in the reveal trailer. Final Fantasy 16 is returning to a medieval fantasy world, alongside traditional elements from the series like the return of crystals, warring kingdoms, and all-powerful Final Fantasy summons....

There is no shortage of people who truly believe in the current capabilities and future possibilities of virtual reality as a platform. However, you can consider me to have been in the camp that, though intrigued by its potential, believes that VR just isn’t ready for action yet, and still has a considerable way to go. While I enjoyed the PlayStation VR setup that I received as a gift, the novelty quickly wore off, as it was just too buggy and motion sickness-inducing....

And while that instinct is understandable, it comes mostly from a place of love, as well as comfort in the knowledge that no matter what, Dafoe’s Green Goblin will once again be spectacular. Perhaps that’s why I can’t help but wonder about the other Spider-Man villains who were teased; the ones who despite great comic book legacies left something to be desired the last time we saw them at the cinema....

Although Cyberpunk 2077 has experienced a notorious delay, much to the frustration of many onlookers, developer CD Projekt RED still has a sense of humor about it. Following SpaceX’s failed rocket launch on Wednesday, the official Twitter page for Cyberpunk 2077 issued a tweet teasing SpaceX in a hilarious and ironic way. On Wednesday, the launch of the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft was set to go off in Florida. However, inclement weather along Florida forced SpaceX to call off the mission, leading to a delay until Saturday afternoon....

There are few upcoming games as desired as Cyberpunk 2077. Now that Cyberpunk 2077 has gone gold, there seems to be very little left to be revealed. That said, players have already gotten many, many glimpses behind the curtain of what’s in store in Cyberpunk 2077. Players have been teased with this game for a very long time, and more of it has been shown at a steady pace. While gameplay details still remain somewhat scarce, there are some things everyone can agree on....
