In-universe, he’s saved the world numerous times and dealt with threats that many other protagonists wouldn’t be able to do. Overall, Crash isn’t the strongest character you can find. It’s been 15 years since gamers first got their hands on Shogun: Total War. At the Xbox Game Showcase, SteamWorld series developers Image & Form Games revealed new game The Gunk. The game was one of the surprise game announcements at the Xbox Game Showcase, an event which also featured new trailers for titles like Halo Infinite, As Dusk Falls, and new Obsidian Entertainment RPG, Avowed. Image & Form Games is taking a surprising move away from SteamWorld with The Gunk, a game about hoovering up a messy, alien substance with something that looks a lot like a vacuum cleaner....

Tabletop RPG resource crafter Critical Dice (in partnership with 1985 Games) recently launched its first Kickstarter campaign to produce The Deck of Stories and NPC Cards. These products will provide TRPG Game Masters an immediate resource of gaming hooks and NPCs for use in a wide variety of TRPG genres. The Deck of Stories and NPC Cards Kickstarter kicked off on October 1, and met its $10,000 funding goal in about 2 hours after launch....

Earlier today, Microsoft made a major mistake when it accidentally turned on the store page for Crysis Remastered ahead of its full reveal tomorrow. On the page itself, fans were treated to a myriad of details about the game, including its supposed release date. One thing of note, however, is that the page features the first look at the game itself in the form of screenshots, although any attempt to get a detailed look at them is futile at this point....

Johnny Silverhand will tell V that Takemura is “toast,” leading the player to believe that he’s likely been immediately killed, so Search and Destroy is the end of his story....

Cyberpunk 2077 might have its problems, but the sheer number of easter eggs in the game is one way it is making up for those misgivings. Now that the world appears to have gotten to grips with Cyberpunk 2077’s problems, the hate being thrown the game’s way has died down a little. CD Projekt Red announced Cyberpunk 2077 back in 2012, but very little news was revealed over the next few years due to the developer’s focus on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Now that The Witcher 3 is out, CD Projekt Red has been working hard on the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077, and the intervening years (and The Witcher 3’s massive success) have only served to increase the game’s scope and ambition....

It’s a sad day for all the gamers who jammed to Daft Punk’s mixes on DJ Hero. The legendary robot-headed French DJ duo responsible for some of the most popular house music to ever grace our gaming playlists, has suddenly split up after 28 years in the music scene. Daft Punk, made up of members Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, announced their split not by a written tweet or statement, but with a nearly 8-minute video titled Epilogue, taken from a scene in their 2006 film Electroma in which one of the duo self-destructs in the desert....

Dark Souls 2 is a tough game, and it’s even tougher for players that came from the first or third in the series. The difference lies in the enemies’ tracking and the players’ movement. For example, rolling has fewer invincibility frames than it does in the other Darks Souls games, making it a lot harder to evade enemies. Strength of Rasputin is one of the coveted Warmind Cell Armor Mods that were introduced in Destiny 2’s Season of the Worth last year. Since then, these mods have become must-haves, along with some Warmind-themed weapons, for some top-tier PvE builds across Nightfall Strikes and Raids. Season of the Worthy came to an end long ago, but these Warmind Cell mods are still available to buy from the Tower’s Gunsmith vendor Banshee-44, including Strength of Rasputin, which grants melee ability energy whenever a player collects a Warmind Cell....

Earlier this week, we wrote about a new discovery in Destiny 2 called the mysterious box. This exotic quest step was found right at the entrance to the Volundr Forge, the first Forge unlocked after the DLC launched.
