Marvelous First Studio has garnered a lot of support from consumers anticipating the release of Daemon X Machina. Now, it has announced a special limited-edition version of the game available in both Europe and Australia that features an Arsenal statue. Marvelous Inc. is a studio that is a sort of jack of all trades when it comes to developing games as it has done everything from platformers and beat ’em up games to JRPG’s like Rune Factory....

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is one hugely popular game. The battle royale title has sold over 10 million copies while still in early access and it seems that it appeals to everyone from the average PC gamer to internationally known musicians. One such musician who is a big PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds fan is Deadmau5 who tried to stream his time playing duos yesterday. But the fun didn’t last long as the DJ soon found that he and his teammate had been stream sniped, which is where someone watches a stream in order to get the jump on a player, identifying their position and snuffing them out....

DJ and music producer deadmau5 has reportedly had his Twitch channel banned for hate speech following the use of a homophobic slur he said while streaming PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Subsequently, deadmau5 deleted his Twitch channel while claiming that Twitch has double standards and is censoring him. Twitch does not offer official comments on individual account bans, and deadmau5 has not revealed the specific details regarding his ban beyond confirmation and the reason for it....

It seriously feels like a disease. Ever since I played Skyrim for the first time back in 2011, it’s been rooted in my mind to the point that it’s taken away from how much I enjoy other games. I’m not sure how this happened, and I’m not sure how to fix it. At this point, ten years later, it seems that this is going to be permanent. The most confusing part about this phenomenon is that there have been other games I’ve loved that didn’t have the same lasting effect....

Demon’s Souls was first released for the PlayStation 3 by developer FromSoftware in February 2009, the first installment of their Souls franchise. It set the tone for the series’ later titles with its punishingly high difficulty, which was praised by both reviewers and gamers alike, and which became a hallmark of the developer’s later titles, including the Dark Souls games and Bloodborne. After nine years in constant operation, Demon’s Souls’ online services will finally be shut down on February 28th, 2018, according to statements from Sony Japan, Atlus, and Namco Bandai, the game’s publishers in Japan, the US, and Europe, respectively....

Aniplex recently announced the indefinite delay of the upcoming Demon Slayer mobile game, Kimetsu no Yaiba: Keppū Kengeki Royale (Demon Slayer: Blood-Stench Blade Royal). Aniplex says the delay is to improve the quality of the game. The original release was planned to be sometime this year. As with most Destiny 2 seasons, Season of the Chosen has a new Iron Banner quest for Guardians to embark on. Named “Saladin’s Gauntlet,” this quest tasks players with defeating other Guardians with various weapons throughout the course of Season 13. Destiny 2 fans are eagerly jumping back into the game for the new gameplay, and event-exclusive loot added to the game with the return of the Trials of Osiris mode. As players prepare to fight both new enemies and each other, they might find some inconsistencies with the items that they end up recovering. Twitter user Gitv_Kyle recently discovered that although the in-game vendors were supposedly decrypting engram items that matched players’ maximum power level, he was receiving slightly underpowered gear....

Over the past few seasons, Bungie has made numerous changes to the Eververse store and Bright Engram system in order to better reward Destiny 2 players for their time. In Season 7: Season of Opulence, the developers are further tweaking the store and the way in which players can acquire Eververse items, while borrowing some ideas from games like Fortnite and Anthem. The biggest change for Destiny 2 in Season 7 is that players will be able to buy every new Eververse item directly using Silver or Bright Dust....

It looks like The Drifter finally has something to do in Destiny’s lore with the upcoming fall expansion. It’s been a long time since we’ve heard from ol’ Drifter. The last time he’s been a central figure of Destiny 2’s lore was back in the before times when Season of the Drifter was a thing. Now we find out that Drifter is on his way to Europa in Destiny 2’s latest trailer and we just don’t know what he’ll be getting up to....

Earlier today, Destiny 2 developer Bungie gave players their first look at Season of the Drifter and Joker’s Wild, the new content coming to the game in Season 6. From new Gambit activities to new gear to collect, Season of the Drifter looks to be yet another opportunity for players to explore new facets of the Destiny 2 universe while being challenged in new ways. Part of that challenge in Destiny 2 Season 6 will include new pinnacle weapons for Crucible, Gambit, and Strikes....

With the next season of Destiny 2, Season of Opulence, kicking off today, developer Bungie has revealed the patch notes that will accompany this new addition of content to the game. Anyone paying attention the last few weeks to Bungie’s detailed previews of the patch notes should not be very surprised by the newly published list of changes. No need to panic, Destiny gear collectors (read: hoarders). Like the first game, Destiny 2 will include a Vault in order to store gear and transfer it between characters. Why would this even be a question? Well, in the reveal trailer for Destiny 2, the Last City is besieged by the Cabal’s Red Legion, and the Tower—along with the Vaults that players know and love from Destiny 1—are obliterated. But that appears to have just been part of the narrative tale that Bungie is spinning for Destiny 2....

One Destiny player has discovered a way to cross the jumping puzzle in the King’s Fall raid by only using the starting ship before traversing the entire expanse. Destiny: The Taken King’s raid, King’s Fall, has been called the biggest raid Bungie has ever created. It took about seven hours for the first team to overcome its challenges when it came out but since then, players have beaten Destiny’s newest raid much faster and with smaller groups, including one player besting Oryx solo....

It appears things only continue to get worse for CD Projekt. Ever since the disastrous launch of Cyberpunk 2077, the company has been doing everything it can to improve the game, but that wasn’t enough to protect it from a lawsuit filed by its own investors. Said lawsuit claims that CD Projekt knowingly misled investors on the state of Cyberpunk 2077, especially on the base PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which were considered by many as virtually unplayable....
