DC’s Stargirl TV series has seen its release date shift slightly…but not too much! Originally scheduled to premiere on Monday, May 11 on the DC Universe streaming service with a broadcast to follow on the CW on Tuesday, May 12, Stargirl will now arrive on DC Universe a week later, on Monday, May 18 instead, with the CW broadcast to follow on Tuesday, May 19th. The premiere date shift might reflect a need for The CW to fill holes in its schedule since the latter episodes of most of its heavy hitters like The Flash, Supernatural, Supergirl, Batwoman, and others have been temporarily delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic....

The Season of the Hunt activity is now available in Destiny 2. Starting today, Guardians can begin configuring their Cryptolith Lures and participating in Wrathborn hunts. Not only is this a great way to farm powerful upgrades, new weapons, and custom armor, it also opens up the path to the newest Triumph Seal title: Warden. Wrathborn hunts are a seasonal progression activity that allows you to target and customize gear by charging up a new quest item called the Cryptolith Lure and loading it with mutation mods....

During Bungie’s livestream for Destiny 2’s forthcoming Forsaken DLC, the studio released a ViDoc showcasing all that’s coming to the science fiction shooter through the expansion, saying that the add-on has been inspired by certain “western” themes. 2017 was an incredibly busy year for Bungie, with the launch of Destiny 2 along with the game’s first expansion pack, Curse of Osiris. Bungie also brought the series to PC for the first time, launched the Leviathan Raid and hosted major in-game events such as the Winter-holiday fest, The Dawning. But the game has also been the subject of several controversies. At launch, fans were disappointed to discover changes to the games shader system which seemed to push them towards paying for cosmetic microtransactions....

Yesterday, Bungie revealed sandbox changes coming in Destiny 2’s Season of [REDACTED], which might turn out to be Season of the Splicer or Season of the Collectives, depending on which leak you buy into. One thing that we won’t have to speculate on is upcoming weapon balance changes, with Linear Fusion Rifles coming away the clear winner. Along with outlining the new rules for The World’s Second Vault of Glass Raid, Bungie told us that Precision Auto Rifles will get a damage buff, regular Fusion Rifles will get a boost to their minimum range values, and Linear Fusion Rifles will get a straight 15% damage buff to precision hits....

With Destiny 2’s Warmind DLC right around the corner, fans are anxiously awaiting more information about what to expect in the upcoming DLC. During a stream for the popular podcast “Destiny Down Under” Destiny 2 Game Director Christopher Barret dropped a cryptic comment in the stream’s chat, and fans are speculating that it may hint at an upcoming ARG that will tie into Warmind. Barret’s message may seem familiar to Destiny veterans, for the structure of it is strikingly similar to flavor text for weapons and gear relating to Rasputin, the infamous Destiny warmind....

The final week of season 2 is here, which means that Destiny 2 players have only the next seven days to wrap up any lingering quests and activities. This also means that players have only a limited amount of time to earn any remaining Season 2 specific rewards including ornaments from the Vanguard, Trials of the Nine, Crucible, or raids. At this point, Destiny fans shouldn’t be surprised to realize that Bungie is in it for the long haul as far as expanding the title’s future and universe goes. Whether it’s the game developer’s recently compiled fan wishlist of most wanted features, or the seemingly gigantic DLC pack known as The Taken King, it’s obvious that the company is planning to support Destiny for quite some time. As a matter of fact, it’s been common knowledge for a while that Bungie’s aims for Destiny involve a 10 year plan on the scale of epics such as Lord of the Rings, and is set to continually evolve well beyond the upcoming release of the highly anticipated The Taken King expansion with new areas, enemy factions, Strikes, Raids, and gear....

When Crackdown 3 launches this February, the game will be bucking an ever-growing trend in the gaming industry. As of now, the development team hasn’t laid out any plans for downloadable content.
