According to the teaser trailer released yesterday, the Exo Stranger will arrive on Europa to meet with Eris Morn and The Drifter and show them a newly arrived Pyramid ship. Destiny 1 fans will recognize the mysterious Exo from their initial forays into the Cosmodrome....
It was a big week for both Bungie and Destiny 2 players as Season 13, also known as Season of the Chosen, finally launched. The update not only includes a new story featuring the Cabal and their new Empress Caiatl, but also adds new modes like the three player activity Battlegrounds. Players can also visit the H.E.L.M. a war table of sorts where they can upgrade a new seasonal item called the Hammer of Proving to unlock new rewards and umbral engrams....
Destiny 2’s Curse of Osiris may include a wealth of new content and some comprehensive updates, but it will not be increasing vault space for players. Bungie community manager Deej confirmed the news while responding to fan questions and fans are understandably frustrated. The war against vault space has been a problem for Destiny practically since its launch, with players struggling to find enough room for all of the gear they collect over time....
Hunter mains in Destiny 2: Beyond Light are now seeing nerfs to the Stasis subclass. Via Bungie’s newest patch notes, the Hunter’s Stasis abilities that have been wreaking havoc in Destiny 2 are getting toned down. Destiny 2 is a game popular for gunplay, but it also involves extensive loot tables and ability customization. Part of the appeal for players is developing a unique guardian and then testing their skills in Crucible PvP....
In recent year, Destiny fans have enjoyed participating in the Festival of the Lost, a special in-game event that celebrates Halloween. However, for Destiny 2’s first year Bungie has decided not to bring the event back. According to Community Manager DeeJ, Festival of the Lost won’t be happening in Destiny 2 this year for a couple of reasons. First, Season 1 is focused on launch instead of running holiday events. Secondly, the first event planned for Destiny 2 is The Dawning, which is a winter-themed event set to kick off in December as part of the game’s second season of content....
It’s been almost a week since Destiny’s House of Wolves DLC launched and thus far the community has been consuming the content at a ravenous pace. Players are already racing through the new story missions, before jumping into one of two House of Wolves “endgame” experiences. The first of those experiences, Prison of Elders, is a combat arena meant to challenge even the strongest of Destiny players. Essentially, it’s a horde mode equivalent constructed of 5 rounds (6 on the level 35 difficulty) with 3 waves per round....
Century: Age of Ashes is a name you likely wouldn’t remember, but you’ll definitely remember the stunning dragon-riding gameplay from the trailer that premiered during The Game Awards this past December. After spending some time with the game last month (and falling in love with it) I had the opportunity to learn more about Century from art director Pascal Barret and creative director Emmanuel Nouaille. According to Barret, he and Nouaille came up with the idea for Century: Age of Ashes almost seven years ago....
For a limited time, the Tokyo Skytree tower is streaming its special video collaboration with Square Enix titled “Skytree in Midgar Final Fantasy VII Remake.” Tokyo Skytree’s official YouTube channel will house the video until June 1. It was initially unveiled on February 6 as a part of the Skytree in Midgar event on Tokyo Skytree’s observation deck, premiering above a scenic view of the city’s skyline. Today, developer Torn Banner Studios, publisher Tripwire Presents, and retail co-publishing partner Deep Silver announced that the release of Chivalry 2 is just over the horizon (much like the awaiting player armies ready for battle in the medieval slaughter-fest). Chivalry 2 - first-person slasher inspired by epic medieval movie battles - will launch on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on June 8, 2021, and will feature cross-play compatibility between all of the various platforms....
The original Mario game enters the world of battle royale with Super Mario Bros. 35. Surprise! A Nintendo Direct dropped today, and with it came a few new announcements that nobody saw coming. One of them is Super Mario 35, a game that turns classic Super Mario Bros. into a battle royale knockout. Nippon Ichi Software has released nearly thirty minutes of gameplay from their upcoming adventure title, Bokuhime Project. Bokuhime Project tells the story of a young boy named Minato who ends up enrolling in a school where 99% of the student body is female. In a plot reminiscent of beloved cross-dressing comedy anime and manga series Ouran High School Host Club, Minato finds himself cross-dressing as a woman to stay in the school....
In June, CD Projekt Red confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 would support non-lethal playthroughs, a full reversal on what the company indicated would be the case just last year. While the idea of Cyberpunk 2077 non-lethal playthroughs is certain to be exciting for fans that want to perform pacifist runs in the RPG, others are likely to be looking to enact just a little bit more violence in Night City. Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most highly anticipated games of the year, and despite CD Projekt Red’s good reputation from The Witcher trilogy, the studio has a lot riding on the new game. The develoepr wants the RPG to push the boundaries for the genre and the stories it can tell can tell as gaming enters the next generation of consoles. Like many open-world RPGs, Cyberpunk 2077 will have optional companion characters that the play can recruit on their missions....

Very little is known about the upcoming title so far, although secrets and clues have been teased in several Death Stranding trailers. On Instagram recently, Death Stranding actor Norman Reedus reposted a strange simulation of a person being sucked into what appears to be a black hole. Just a few seconds long and accompanied by Reedus’ caption “yep,” the post does not explicitly reference the upcoming game....
Demon’s Souls players are able to go through the game’s five Archstones in any order they want, but many players tend to follow through them in order by nature. With that in mind, the Shadowmen’s Archstone tends to be one of the later ones that players tackle as the fourth in the line, and that’s likely a good thing. Although players may want to brave world 4-1 early for great loot, this area throws unique challenges that low level players aren’t likely to be equipped for, and it has some pretty tough bosses to boot....
