Is Destiny’s Mara Sov, Queen of the Reef dead or alive? Bungie reveals the character’s fate and teases the past version of Destiny’s story as well as its future. In Destiny, the Queen of the Reef is a major character in the lore and story of the game. She helps get the player to the original campaign’s last level, and her realm of the Vestian Outpost was heavily featured in Destiny’s second expansion, House of Wolves....

It’s technically no longer Christmas, but Destiny players are hopeful that Xur’s Holiday weekend appearance will bring some worthwhile presents. Now, it looks as if the theories are real, as Bungie’s Community Manager known as Cozmo23 has officially confirmed that Crimson Days will return for Valentine’s in 2018....

It’s safe to say that Destiny 2’s newest raid, Last Wish, is the hardest raid developer Bungie has ever made. It took over 18 hours for the first team to beat Last Wish on Friday when the raid was released. One of the hardest parts of the raid is the final boss, Riven. It was a challenge for six-person teams to tackle, but now that players have had some more time with the raid, a team has already beat the final boss encounter two players short....

Destiny 2’s revelry event is nearing its conclusion and Bungie is readying a patch to maintain some momentum. It’s not a particularly large patch, as it only has four current fixes, but as the Revelry spring event ends and players get back into the swing of regular Season of the Drifter gameplay in its later weeks, even a small update is better than nothing. The Destiny 2 2.2.2 update is planned to go live on May 7th and will be a required download....

Destiny 2’s new Warmind DLC is finally here and while the launch seems to have gone off without a hitch, that hasn’t stopped players from looking for ways to “break” the game. Take the Wardcliff Coil glitch, for example, which offered a very useful workaround for players and was only finally patched out with the release of Warmind. Exploits are rare in Destiny 2, but when they are found they typically offer a significant advantage....

The recommended power level for the Destiny 2 Leviathan raid means that only the toughest players can take the activity on. Bungie has specifically designed the raid to be hard as nails, but one fireteam is making it look incredibly easy. One Destiny 2 fireteam has managed to beat the Leviathan raid in under 30 minutes. Their total completion time, from spawn, was 27 minutes and 24 seconds, making it the world’s fastest....

Players have come together to create some amazing things in Minecraft, from making Doom playable inside Minecraft to rebuilding Hogwarts and other famous buildings. Now, a Minecraft player has recreated the entire Tower of Destiny 2, and it took them more than 150 hours to do it. Minecraft brings out the creativity in people. Between all the building materials, colors, and available time players have, almost anything is possible inside the game....

Destiny 2 is easily one of the most highly-anticipated games of 2017, so it came as no surprise that the crowd cheered in delight when Sony shared a trailer for the sci-fi shooter during the its E3 press conference. A YouTuber has released a new video showing how Destiny players can glitch their way through the walls of the Vault of Glass raid and enjoy each part of the raid’s unique areas without the threat of enemies. The glitch comes after years of effort from both the YouTuber and other Destiny players to explore the vast secrets of what lies behind the walls of Destiny’s world. The video, shown below, details the journey the YouTuber, known as Djxyz0, took to make his way to Atheon’s throne room in the Vault of Glass....

Capcom’s Street Fighter 2 Turbo is regarded as the turning point in the Street Fighter 2 series, introducing several mechanics and characters that would remain a staple to the series to this day. As Street Fighter remains one of Capcom’s flagship series, the games in the series are often included in compilations offered by Capcom, some of which are dedicated to the Street Fighter games exclusively. One such recent compilation revealed during last week’s Nintendo Direct was the Capcom Arcade Stadium, featuring 32 entries from Capcom’s vast arcade library released between 1984 and 2001....

This Singapore based food and snack company has created a Pikachu potato chip. IRVINS, the creators of the salted egg potato chip, has teamed up with the Pokémon Company to bring Pikachu to their bags. Pikachu will be the face of the IRVINS Salted Egg Zig Zag Potato Chips, which boast “thicker cut, better crunch.” These chips will have the signature IRVINS salted egg flavor that launched their snack brand to begin with, but the brand offers plenty of other flavors without Pikachu’s seal of approval....

Advertising within the gameplay of video games has become more prevalent as developers team up with companies specializing in advertising technology. While some advertising in video games can is met with significant backlash like the unskippable ads within NBA 2K21, other advertising can be harmless like Adidas billboards in FIFA soccer games, or may even add to gameplay like Death Stranding’s partnership with Monster that adds the energy drink into the game, or Fortnite’s partnership with Marvel introducing Thanos to the battle royale to promote Avengers: Infinity War....

Corsair just launched the latest iteration of their Dark Core line of gaming mice, the Dark Core RGB Pro. Corsair now has a mouse that they say has a faster polling rate than your wired gaming mouse. That’s a tall order, but one that seems worth looking into if you’re in the market for a new mouse. It’s called the Dark Core RGB Pro, and it has quite the laundry list of features....

If you’re hoping to have access to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s Ranks, drops, or Skill Groups, you’ll now have to purchase Prime Status for $14.99. Valve today announced that any new players will still have access to every game mode and the ability to play on community servers, but access to Ranks will be restricted in an attempt to curb “bad actors.” Along with the changes comes a new Unranked mode, which provides all players access to Competitive, Wingman, and Danger Zone using skill-based matchmaking....

It goes without saying that The Sims is one of the best life simulation games available on the PC by a long shot. The fact that this popular series is getting ported onto consoles is proof enough of the sheer popularity that the series has accrued, ever since its inception way back near the start of this century. From its very first release, it was clear to both EA and Maxis that they’d stumbled upon an absolute gem of a series that would stand the test of time as one of the most popular gaming franchises of all time....

It’s possible that we may have learned the name of the next Pokémon video game, thanks to a trademark that was filed in Japan. Serebii.net has revealed that Creatures Inc, Game Freak, and Nintendo have registered a trademark for the term Ultra Shiny. This is almost certainly related to the Pokémon series, due to the companies involved and the fact that the last games in the series were called Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon....

Announced all the way back in May 2012, Cyberpunk 2077 is setting itself up to be one of the most ambitious open-world games ever made. Due to the long development period between announcement and release, it is understandable that some of the original concepts pitched for Cyberpunk 2077, such as the game’s standalone multiplayer mode, will not be available for the game’s launch. This has caused developer CD Projekt Red some trouble however, as some of the game’s mechanics, such as wall-running and dual wielding, have been scrapped altogether....
