Xur is back for Destiny 2 players to spend their Legendary Shards on a selection of exotic armor, a unique exotic weapon, and a few special Xur-only consumables. The Agent of the Nine is a somewhat mysterious figure but his appearance typically brings joy to players looking to fill out their exotic collection. This week, players can find Xur on planet Earth in the European Dead Zone patrol area. Specifically, Xur is hanging out on a cliff’s edge in the Winding Cove section of the EDZ....

Solstice of Heroes has returned to Destiny 2 and it has presented many objectives for fans to complete, one of which has an interesting workaround for players looking for looking to blaze through Adventures. Destiny 2 players are always on the lookout for ways to glitch through the game’s challenges or to simply shorten the grind. Fans were pleasantly surprised to learn that Bungie implemented a progression multiplier for Solstice of Heroes, but that hasn’t stopped fans from continuing to look for ways to efficiently complete tasks....

When Shadowkeep arrived last year for Destiny 2, one of the things it tried to do was create a coherent onboarding experience for new players. For the first 20 minutes or so, players would create a character, spawn in at the Cosmodrome, and then have their Ghost take them to a waiting spaceship to escape a horde of Fallen that were hellbent on stealing their bones. And that portion of the New Light experience was great, but after that, players arrive at The Tower with little explanation for where they were, why they were there, or who this big blue dude is with a giant shoulder pad and a go-to attitude....

Over these past couple of weeks, Bungie has started to detail how it plans to fix many of the complaints and issues with Destiny 2. The community has been fairly vocal over the last two seasons with regards to the state of the game and Bungie has responded in kind with a plan for quick fixes and things it aims to change over the next few months. This includes hot topic issues like Trials of Osiris, cheaters, the growing bounty problem, the rise of paid content in the Eververse store, and more....

With all the success Nintendo has been seeing of late with its latest console, the Switch, people are naturally curious to know if many of the massive AAA titles are coming to the system, something which wasn’t always common to see for the Wii U. With the long awaited reveal of Destiny 2 yesterday during a livestream put on by Bungie, the conversation once again turned to the Nintendo Switch and whether not the newly revealed title would be finding a home there alongside the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and new PC versions....

The first weekend of Season of the Chosen brings with it the first rendition of Trials of Osiris, the pinnacle PvP game mode in Destiny 2. This game mode brings the elite PvP Guardians out to pummel each other in the name of exclusive loot and bragging rights, but it’s also been a game mode that Bungie has struggled to make appealing to less-skilled players. At the core of Trials is the Trials Pass, which simply tracks a player’s wins and losses....

A few weeks ago, Bungie issued a “State of the Game” for Destiny 2, acknowledging that players were unhappy with a number of aspects in its multiplayer shooter. As part of the blog post, Bungie discussed changes that would be coming in early 2018, and now a month into the new year, Bungie has more clearly defined the features coming to the game and the dates that players can expect to see them....

Destiny’s April Update coming next month brings with it a brand new Strike, plus a revamped Strike featuring Taken enemies, as well as new gear and rewards to earn. On April 12, Destiny will get a shot in the arm with the April Update. It’s the first time new content has come to Destiny since The Taken King launched in September 2015 (besides live events that have spanned the months since then)....

Bungie announces the second year of Destiny’s Moments of Triumph will come to a close early for those playing the sci-fi shooter on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Destiny fans won’t see any new content added to Bungie’s sci-fi shared world shooter until the major Rise of Iron expansion is released this September. However, to hold some over until then, Bungie recently announced the second year of Moments of Triumph, which are eight accomplishments for Destiny players to complete for some unique cosmetic rewards....

Many Street Fighter 5 professional players have continued to participate in tournaments online during the coronavirus pandemic. Since these players can’t meet in person to compete, there is a difference in atmosphere and doesn’t have as reliable a connection in the game. Because of this, Victor “Punk” Woolsey suffered an unfortunate defeat and responded poorly. Because of the player’s actions, Capcom issued him an odd punishment. Since the release of Street Fighter 5 in 2016, the game has continued to have issues with its online play....

The latest episode of CD Projekt Red’s Night City Wire revealed a ton of exciting new details regarding Cyberpunk 2077. Specifically, CD Projekt Red took the opportunity to share new information about one of Cyberpunk 2077’s most important gameplay aspects. That being Night City’s wide variety of vehicles, broken down into several vehicle classes. It’s a showcase of some of Cyberpunk 2077’s various motorcycles, cars, trucks, and everything in-between. First up is Cyberpunk 2077’s “Economy” class of vehicles....

It’s 2020. Everybody needs cheering up. Some people drink, others overeat, and still others enjoy some shows or movies that make them feel good. A brand-new item has been added to the menu - and, actually, it’s one that many Chipotle-goers may already be familiar with from the burrito chain’s “unofficial” menu. Hand-Crafted Quesadillas have officially been added to Chipotle’s regular menu, stemming from a successful digital-only campaign within test markets last year. The quesadilla comes as the first customizable menu option for the restaurant since salads were added to the menu 17 years ago....

Cities: Skylines is a game with a committed fanbase that creates some incredible cityscapes – realistic or imagined. The game has many different DLCs to choose from with common updates for player to experience and enjoy. Their DLCs range in how much they affect the actual gameplay, but at least they all have new hats for Chirp. With each DLC comes a new set of changes and challenges for the player to experience as well as new maps to customize into a sprawling city, or a complete ghetto if that’s what you prefer....

What makes a story a “classic?” It’s a vague yet glorious distinction applied to books, films, art, and even models of vintage cars whose value is passed down from one generation to the next. But is it just the length of time a text or work survives that qualifies it as a “classic” or is there something more? Generally speaking, the classics that tend to be celebrated one generation after another, and especially those that are passed down from one century to another, are works that speak of something timeless....

Even before being released, there are many who believe that whatever transpires in the immediate future, Crysis 3 will be the best looking game of 2013. The announcement trailer showed just how good gameplay can look, due in no small part to the brand new CryENGINE 3 being used to build it. We got a chance at E3 2012 to see a section of the tools being included in the new engine, and the new approach to tessellation, lighting, and texturing that Crytek Studios is incorporating into their third iteration....

That’s why when Cyberpunk 2077 launched with its bevy of issues, it ended up being a prime target of meme culture across the internet and social media platforms. From performance problems to writing issues, there was plenty of material to work with when creators wanted to add comedic flair to an image or idea related to the game....

It has been quite a while since the video game developer CD Projekt Red provided players with their first look at Cyberpunk 2077 after publicly revealing its behind-closed-doors gameplay demo from E3 2018. Now, it appears as if the studio is set to offer another glimpse at how far along the forthcoming first-person RPG’s production has come since then, with the company confirming that the game will be at E3 2019....

During a recent earnings call, Adam Kicinski, CEO of Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red, stated that the team does not intend to be “aggressive” with the game’s multiplayer microtransactions. “We’re never aggressive towards our fans!” Kicinski exclaims. “We treat them fairly and we’re friendly. So of course not – we won’t be aggressive – but you can expect great things to be bought. The goal is to design monetization in a way that makes people happy to spend money....
