Game developer Bungie officially announces that Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner Crucible matches will end on Destiny’s PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. As many fans of Destiny are probably aware at this point, Bungie is currently at work on the sci-fi shooter’s latest expansion known as Rise of Iron. What some Guardians may not know, however, is that the developer is planning on leaving the game’s players on last generation consoles behind with the forthcoming expansion, as the DLC will not be supported on PS3 or Xbox 360....

Xur has returned to the Tower once again to grace the Destiny playerbase with his collection of exotic armor pieces and weapons. As with past weeks, Xur shows up on Friday morning, at the daily reset, and is open for business until the Sunday morning reset. For those who might not know, Xur offers a set of exotic armor pieces, engrams, and occasionally weapons in exchange for Strange Coins. This week, Destiny players can find Xur tucked against the wall in the Vanguard quarters....

Bungie has detailed how Masterwork versions of Exotic weapons will work in Destiny 2, explaining both the unlock process and what the upgraded versions will offer. While Destiny 2 players have plenty of complaints when it comes to the shader system in Bungie’s game, typically those criticisms don’t involve the actual designs of the shader. But one new shader that has appeared in Season of Arrivals is drawing a lot of raised eyebrows for being misleading. This week, Destiny 2’s Eververse Store added a new shader to its inventory called Jacarina that features a black and white color scheme....

Bungie has recently updated its list of known issues for Destiny 2. These are outlined in the studio’s latest weekly blog post, along with event details and other topics to prepare Destiny 2 players for the week ahead. First off, the Trials of the Nine was disabled at the wrong time this week. The limited-time multiplayer event should be running at its regular time, which is 10 AM PT on Friday until Tuesday at 2 AM PT....

While a lot of the core experience in Destiny 2 should be familiar to players of the original game, there are still plenty of things changing in the sequel. One change that has many players concerned is the way loot will work in Destiny 2, specifically that weapons will have static rolls. In Destiny 1, each weapon (save for exotics and raid weapons) had a pool of perks that could fill specific slots, and what perks ended up in those slots was completely random....

AEW Fyter Fest took place on June 29 in collaboration with the CEO fighting game tournament in Florida.
