Whether it’s consoles, triple-A titles, or peripherals, we here at Game Rant don’t like to play favorites. And so when we gave credit to two different Destiny players, one Hunter and one Titan, for completing the Crota’s End solo, we figured that when a Warlock did it we would give them the same recognition. Well guess what, after both a Hunter and a Titan successfully made it through Crota’s End without a teammate, a Warlock has now completed the feat as well....

Grunt Birthday Party is perhaps one of the most ridiculous Easter Eggs in the history of gaming, and now it has made its way to Destiny 2. Thanks to the Wall of Wishes in the Last Wish raid, players can cast wishes to alter the raid in different ways, and one of them recreates the infamous Halo Easter Egg within the Last Wish raid. Here is how players can activate Grunt Birthday Party to add a little flair to the Last Wish raid....

Bungie launches a number of narrative-focused job listings on its website, with some suggesting that smaller scale story content could be expected throughout the life of Destiny 2. When it comes to the most anticipated games of 2017, Destiny 2 certainly needs to be near the top of the list. Although some gamers did feel disappointed by the original Destiny, the title was still a huge success, with a strong community that remains solid to this day....

Today is the weekly reset in Destiny 2, and this week brings the brand new Expunge weekly Pinnacle mission. Much like Presage and Harbinger, this new mission will tell much of the story beats for the season while simultaneously incentivizing players with what is colloquially referred to as “fat loot.” The patch also brings several fixes to many things that have gone wrong since Season of the Splicer’s launch. The Energy Accelerant mod has been fixed and no longer increases the damage of Symmetry, Telesto, Black Talon, and Deathbringer (with Telesto receiving a “sternly worded lecture” for yet again acting up), and Sundering Blast no longer un-stuns Overload champions rather than stunning them....

Destiny 2 fans are sure to be happy that the first major expansion for Destiny 2 will release in just over a month on December 5, 2017. But accompanying the announcement of Curse of Osiris’s release date, Bungie also revealed that Expansion 2 will release in spring 2018. Expansion 2, which remains untitled, is the second major piece of DLC that comes in the game’s Expansion Pass after Curse of Osiris....

Destiny 2 looks to be taking a new focus on its PvP, making it a more balanced and competitive experience than that of Destiny 1’s Crucible offering. Many PvP fans were hoping that meant a Ranked playlist would be in order for the game, but Bungie has confirmed that Destiny 2 will not feature any type of Ranked PvP at launch. Game Director Luke Smith told PC Gamer in an interview that the fan-requested feature would not make the cut for “the September launch....

Capcom, the Japanese developer and publisher behind multi-million-selling game franchises like Street Fighter, Mega Man, Darkstalkers and Dead Rising, has raised its full-year financial forecasts as a result of the success of Monster Hunter Rise and the Resident Evil 3 remake. Last May, the company, which has subsidiaries in North America, Europe, and Japan, announced that it expected net sales of $792.9 million, and both operating and ordinary income of $246....

Someone has mocked up what The Last of Us 2 might look like if it gets a PS5 update, and it’s beautiful. A number of titles have and continue to receive new-gen upgrades as the transition between PS4 and Xbox One to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S continues. Whether it be a free upgrade like the one for Marvel’s Avengers, or the frankly confusing $10 being charged for the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater upgrade....

Like many other Final Fantasy games before it, Final Fantasy 14 lets players ride Chocobos as mounts. Some Chocobos are rarer than others, such as the black Fat Chocobo that players can only get through special promotions. Square Enix has teamed with various partners around the world to give out black Fat Chocobo codes, and in China, its promotional partner is none other than the Kentucky Fried Chicken fast food restaurant chain....

In a Medium blog post tagged under “cancel culture”, game writer Chris Avellone has spoken up for the first time since he was accused of sexual misconduct in 2020. In June last year, multiple companies cut ties with Avellone - including Techland, developer of Dying Light 2 - after he was accused of getting Karissa Barrows drunk before groping and forcing himself onto her. Avellone has filed a lawsuit, seeking damages from over 100 defendants for defamation, though there are only two named defendants on the court document....

Chronos was a standout game for those who owned VR helmets. However, everyone else who didn’t have a pair of fancy future goggles never got to experience this weird little adventure from Gunfire Games. Which wouldn’t be a huge problem except for the fact that Remnant: From The Ashes is actually a sequel that incorporates much of the lore and world-building from Chronos. So many Remnant players - myself included - were often left oblivious or confused whenever a reference to the first game popped up....

CD Projekt RED is probably one of the few developers out there that could delay a game’s release multiple times and have the overwhelming majority of players be thankful for it. It helps that the recent announcement of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s three-month delay came within a climate when the industry was still stinging from the woefully buggy release of Assassin’s Creed Unity, and the reason given for the delay was that CD Projekt RED didn’t want to release a “badly polished” game....

Season 4 of Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare has added a wealth of new content, but the new guns are far and away some of the best weapons yet added to the game. The Fennec SMG, based on the Vector, is now the best close-range gun available with a blistering fire rate and almost no recoil. The CR-56 AMAX is based on the real world Galil ACE, and while it may not have the immediate popularity of the Fennec, it will likely soon become known as one of the best long-range, high-damage ARs for Warzone....

As the name suggests, Cozy Grove is a cozy and charming game that allows you to lay back and enjoy its relaxing gameplay. Like any other life-sim, though, there are a bunch of mechanics to learn before completely immersing yourself in its world. There’s cooking, fishing, and crafting among many of its activities. If you’re going to be crafting often, you’ll want to understand charred fishbones, as they’re a common ingredient in a few recipes....

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled was released on June 21st, and has been mostly well-received for its faithfulness to the original kart-racing title starring everyone’s favorite bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot. However, while it has received glowing reviews and been appealing to gamers overall, the Nintendo Switch version had apparently been experiencing some online multiplayer issues which have now been patched. Previously, Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, which was to add online multiplayer modes to its arsenal, was having random disconnect issues, as well as synchronization problems wherein players’ character models were not correctly connected to the minimap....

Radical Fish Games has announced a brand new DLC for CrossCode, and it’s coming to PC this month. CrossCode: A New Home is set to launch on February 26, we already have a beautiful new release trailer which gives us a sneak peek at what to expect. A New Home is a post-game DLC which will be an extension to the main narrative and will continue Lea’s story after the events of CrossCode....

The critically acclaimed Cuphead has been a hit since it first dropped on Windows and Xbox One in 2017. While the game was set to be an exclusive for Microsoft, the game first migrated to MacOS in 2018. It then moved to Nintendo Switch in 2019 where it went on to be one of the most downloaded games on Switch of the year. Now, it appears the game will finally be making its way to PlayStation....

Cyber Shadow has arrived. The 8-bit 2D Ninja action-platforming game is receiving high praise, as Yacht Club Games was able to publish Cyber Shadow to the Switch, PlayStation, PC, and Xbox. But the throwback to 80s style action games is also available on another platform, Xbox Game Pass. Xbox Game Pass boasts many games, providing all Microsoft first-party games for free as a part of the subscription, and plenty of other games as well....

Throughout Cyberpunk 2077, V and the player encounter a considerable amount of gangs, but none as cool and scary as Tyger Claws (well maybe Maelstrom are a little scarier). Tyger Claws are a well-known and deadly gang that roams Night City. However, they’re shrouded in mysteries that even the biggest fans don’t know about. They’re badass Katana-wielding beasts who control much of Night City and have some serious friends. However, as it is with a lot of Cyberpunk gangs, Tyger Claws keep much of their details secret....

Cyberpunk 2077 is finally out, and despite a litany of technical issues, players are finding themselves immersed in the world that is Night City. Collecting bounties is just one of the things there is to do in Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt Red’s long-awaited title has seen a long road to launch. First announced back in 2012, the infamously delayed game has seen its release pushed back on several occasions. Now that it’s released, many fans are criticizing Cyberpunk 2077’s lackluster performance on Xbox One and PS4, prompting the developer to offer refunds for players disappointed in the title’s last-gen versions....
