In an article recently posted in the recurring Unearthed Arcana feature on the official website for Dungeons & Dragons, two new subclasses for bards and warlocks were announced. The subclasses, College of Spirits for Bards or Undead Patron for Warlocks, allow for players to access a bunch of new spooky powers. Hideo Kojima gives some insight into some of the mysterious clues in the Death Stranding trailer, while confirming that the trailer is not meant to be a dig at Konami. Hideo Kojima recently revealed the trailer for his new game, Death Stranding, and was one of the most talked about topics at E3. The mysterious trailer shows that the game will star Norman Reedus, who was set to play the main character in Kojima’s ill-fated Silent Hills, but it has many fans questioning what exactly the game will be....

Destiny 2’s developer made a very intentional decision with the release of the Warmind expansion to slow down the progression of Power in the game. Since the launch of the game, players have complained that reaching the top of the progression game is too quick. And while Warmind made strides to fix that, Bungie says it’s not finished tinkering with how progression works. In the developer’s weekly blog, Bungie’s Senior Investment Designer Daniel Auchenpaugh detailed changes coming up in Destiny 2’s near future to better fine-tune progression; which are based on fan feedback since the release of Warmind....

With three years of updates and expansions released for Destiny 2, the game has received over double the amount of locations to explore since it released. Each location comes with unique Strikes, Lost Sectors, and hidden lore for players to find. Not all of the planets added have been a home run, though. From lacking content to being way too small, some Destiny fans have their personal list of favorite locations and planets they loathe....

While nothing is set in stone, it appears that Destiny 2’s forthcoming DLC Black Armory could potentially be adding a new black gear rarity tier. Of course, this is tinfoil hat territory and should be taken with a grain of salt, but there is plenty of evidence to suggest this could actually be the case. This same leak also alleges, beyond the addition of the new rarity tear, that this DLC will bring back some of the most popular D1 exotics....

Good news for Destiny 2 players grinding through this year’s Solstice of Heroes event. Bungie has released a new patch today that addresses the bug that drove it to disable one of Destiny 2’s weekly Solstice challenges, reinstating that challenge in the process. As in previous years, the latest Solstice has been offering players new challenges to take on and new armor to upgrade while they go. So far, though, there have been a few issues with Solstice of Heroes that have disappointed players, the most problematic being that one of the weekly challenges in the European Aerial Zone was bugged....

Destiny 2 starts a new season on February 9, called Season of the Chosen. It will continue the narrative of Season of the Hunt and introduce a new leader to the Cabal, Caiatl. Meanwhile, many of the game’s activities will get new loot and ways of progressing. Trials of Osiris will be getting new weapons, armor, and even cosmetics with the start of Season 13. Almost a year ago, Trials of Osiris launched in Destiny 2 for the first time, replacing Trials of the Nine....

It’s a big day for fans of Destiny 2 as the Solstice of Heroes event is now live in the Tower. The event adds new upgradable armor, new loot such as sparrows and other items, as well as remixed campaign missions. The other big piece to this event is the return of Moments of Triumph, a set of long-term objectives covering many of the activities released in the first year that players can redeem at the Tower for unique rewards....
