Chivalry: Medieval Warfare - from indie developer and original publisher Torn Banner Studios - was initially released in 2012, but the brutal first-person slasher is still considered a solid game to this day (especially thanks to its current Steam User Rating of “Very Positive” from over 45,000 ratings, as of this writing). It was really only a matter of time before a sequel was released. Originally announced at last year’s PC Gaming Show, Chivalry 2 will bring back all of the violent battles that PC players got to experience with the first game....

2021 marks the 25th anniversary of the uber-popular Pokemon franchise, and The Pokemon Company is celebrating in a big way. It announced today that it will be collaborating with famous pop musician Katy Perry and other celebrities that have yet to be disclosed. Along with the musical collaborations, The Pokemon Company will release tons of merchandise as the year goes on, including partnerships with McDonald’s, Build-a-Bear, General Mills, and Mattel, just to name a few....

PlayStation 4 users subscribed to the PS Plus service will now have the opportunity to download two great free games next month, Conan Exiles and The Surge, per Sony’s video announcement from Wednesday. Having made Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and The Witness available for March, PlayStation will be hitting its fanbase with another pair of treats. If you haven’t received to March’s freebies yet, there are still a few days left to download them, as they will remain available up until April 1....

The Largo Theater in West Hollywood, where Conan O’Brien has been filming his TBS talk show quarantine-style since July, has been robbed. After discovering the loss of various pieces of studio equipment, O’Brien revealed the theft during his regularly scheduled show, all the while marveling at just how bizarre the whole ordeal was. O’Brien detailed the robbery on the air, along with his long time sidekick Andy Richter and producer Jason Chillemi, repeatedly pausing due to nearly uncontrollable laughter....

Conker’s Bad Fur Day is notorious as one of the few mature-rated titles that was available for the Nintendo 64. March 5, 2021, marks its twentieth anniversary, and there was a flurry of activity today across multiple mediums as many rose to celebrate the occasion. Conker’s Bad Fur Day came from the developer Rare still in its infancy, with a myriad of employees that struggled to figure out what the right niche for Conker to occupy in a space that existed within the realm of Banjo-Kazooie and Super Mario 64....

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are making their way to Smite next month, but we’re afraid there’s no pizza in this universe. Don’t tell them! Despite not quite fitting in with the god theme, the heroes in a half shell look awesome in this MOBA. Like the Avatar: The Last Airbender pack, each turtle will be taking on that god’s abilities with their own unique animations and voice lines. Leonardo is Osiris, Donatello is Sun Wukong, Raphael is Loki, and Michaelangelo is Mercury....

Former Team Liquid CS:GO star, Nicholas “nitr0” Cannella, has officially joined 100 Thieves’ VALORANT roster. It was a long news day for the organization, as the move also coincides with the news that 100 Thieves have dropped all but Spencer “Hiko” Martin from their roster as well. Nitr0 joins 100 Thieves after the team underwent a slew of poor performances in the recent North American VALORANT tournaments. The past month netted the organization a 5th-6th place at the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Showdown, a 7th-8th finish at the Gamers for Equality tournament as well as two 13th-16th finishes at the PAX Arena and FaZe Clan Invitationals....

Cuphead may be inspired by 1930’s-era cartoons and vintage atmospheres, but Studio MDHR has also ushered in some properties from the modern era: support for couch co-op, crisp (albeit vintage) high definition graphics, and high fidelity sound all certainly add to the experience. One item Cuphead is lacking entirely, however, is the ability for friends to play co-op online. Speaking to Fandom earlier this week, Cuphead producer Maja Moldenhauer confirmed that Studio MDHR may add such a feature in the future....

Yet, many of those extremely hyped for CD Projekt Red’s upcoming magnum opus have taken their fandom to a variety of extremes, whether it be in life-like cosplaying or acquiring as much Cyberpunk 2077 gear as is possible....

Patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 is with us, bringing too many updates to count. 8196 words of patch notes later, do the fans feel that it brings the notorious title closer towards what was expected at launch? Judging by the Cyberpunk subreddit, it seems to be good news for console players at last. Many report the game feeling smoother, fixing the framerate issues on PS4 and Xbox One at launch. PS4 Pro players say that the menu has been improved, loading much faster, whereas before the game would frequently slow down if the player tried to open it....

Polish developer Bloober Team has announced that the cyberpunk horror title Observer: System Redux will be a launch title for both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X. Observer: System Redux utilizes next-gen graphics capabilities to improve and remaster the original 2017 title Observer. Observer: System Redux will be available the same day each console releases. Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S release on November 10 so the game will first launch for PC and Xbox, with a second release for PlayStation 5 when it launches on November 12....
