Prior to the launch of Season 11, Bungie explained that it would give Destiny 2 players a way to acquire select gear from past seasons as well as a few other sources. The devs also said that players would have the option to “nudge” their rewards towards a specific loot source, but at the time it was unclear how that would work. Now that Destiny 2: Season of Arrivals is live, players should have acquired at least one Umbral Engram....
This week, Destiny 2 launched its latest exotic weapon quest, which sends players after Lumina. For the most part, the Lumina quest is straightforward, if a bit lengthy, but there is one task that some players might be having trouble with. Towards the end of the Lumina exotic quest in Destiny 2, players will be given a multi-step Pursuit that asks them to kill Guardians with hand cannons in Crucible, create 50 orbs of light for teammates, and kill one Invader in Gambit....
The Contact Public Event has moved to Titan! Here’s where you can find it, and how you can beat it. It’s a new week, and that means new stuff has arrived in Destiny 2. There’s a new Exotic Quest to get the Ruinous Effigy Exotic Trace Rifle, and part of it requires Guardians to complete the Means to An End quest that involves doing Contact Public Events on Titan. Oh, and by the way, the Contact Public Event has moved to Titan....
Players of the Destiny 2 beta have already uncovered lots of secrets about the game, including a Paul McCartney Easter egg. And although the beta is over, it seems that right up until the end, fans were still finding that there was much more to the game and its beta than meets the eye. The latest discovery is what appears to be a Destiny 2 ARG (Alternate Reality Game) that begins in the game’s social space The Farm....
Guardian Games is an event originally introduced to Destiny 2 in 2020. Unlike other events, this one focuses on the competition between all three classes in the game; Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters. The winner of the Guardian Games event will get a statue right next to Zavala (which has now been re-located) for the whole year. Back in February 2021, Bungie released the full roadmap for Season of the Chosen which revealed that the Guardian Games event is indeed coming back this year with brand-new armor ornaments, cosmetics to chase, and some other surprises as well....
The first Iron Banner of Destiny 2 is active in the game this week, with the special playlist dolling out tokens for players to earn, take back to the event’s in-game host Lord Saladin, and collect some exclusive Iron Banner weapons and armor. A nice touch to Iron Banner is that Lord Saladin’s voice replaces that of Lord Shaxx from normal Crucible matches to comment on and announce each match....
Without a doubt, there are a plethora of Guardians currently awaiting the return of Destiny 2’s Iron Banner in order to engage in combat and obtain sets of fantastic-looking armor, as well as some fresh weaponry on the way, too. While they wait, though, the video game developer Bungie has teamed up with the retailer GameStop to offer fans a free in-game emblem with the purchase of any Mega Construx toy set based on the game....
The new Curse of Osiris DLC has only been out for a little over a day but already Destiny 2 players are frustrated with the add-on expansion. While there is an ongoing debate about the quality of Curse of Osiris’ content and how substantial it is, most of the frustration stems from the fact the DLC locks base Destiny 2 players out of certain activities. Now, it appears the DLC’s release also locks players out of acquiring an exotic weapon as well....
In true Bungie fashion, the Destiny 2 developer has heard the community and is making a change. At 2pm PT, the Bergusia Forge will unlock for all players that own the Annual Pass, regardless of whether a fireteam solves the Niobe Labs puzzle or not. Bungie made the announcement on social media and its website early Wednesday afternoon, telling the Destiny 2 community that it heard their complaints. Essentially, the devs did not want to put such a harsh barrier between players and new content and so the team has decided to give players what they want....

An announcement from Capcom indicates a renewed interest in mobile games for the company, with big titles like Mega Man and Monster Hunter coming within the year. According to the announcement, which was made for investors and detailed plans for Capcom’s next fiscal year, the publisher is increasing its mobile efforts with plans to “aggressively” integrate its most popular franchises into the increasingly popular mobile industry. While the full details regarding which Capcom IPs have already been tagged for mobile iterations have not yet been released, Capcom indicated that fans can expect two popular titles to make their way onto phones and smart devices in the near future....
