Pokémon: Detective Pikachu features a sleuth Pikachu that can speak English, but who can only be understood by a single human. The voice of Detective Pikachu is being performed by Ryan Reynolds, but the fans had originally wanted a different actor to take on the role - Danny DeVito. Many fans had originally wanted Danny DeVito to voice Detective Pikachu in the Nintendo 3DS game of the same name and they started a petition that received over fifty-thousand signatures, but that support moved over to the Detective Pikachu movie when that was announced....

Several days ago, the Dark Souls publishers at Bandai Namco Entertainment released a teaser trailer asking fans to “prepare to dine,” which led gamers to wonder if the developer From Software was set to unveil a new project of its own since the tagline is so similar to the “prepare to die” phrase that has frequently been used to promote its notoriously difficult action-RPG series. Nevertheless, it seems as if the studio led by Hidetaka Miyazaki is not ready to reveal any of the games it has in the pipeline just yet, as Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that the teaser trailer is not related to the Dark Souls developer’s work and is a vampire RPG game known as Code Vein....

While it might be years old at this point, Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of the greatest cartoons of all time (and eclipses the rest of the roster on Nickelodeon). Featuring brilliant characters, a universe packed to the brim with interesting lore, and episodes that are worth watching and re-watching over and over. The creators had something special on their hands, and despite a sequel series (The Legend of Korra) having come and gone, the original project still remains the better of the two....

It’s been quite a while since the most recent update for Dead Island 2, as it has been a year since the publisher Deep Silver last confirmed that its open world zombie game was still in active development by the team at Sumo Digital not too long after after the title’s Steam page had been removed. Kojima Productions released a launch trailer for the PC version of Death Stranding. The launch trailer follows the Death Stranding PC 4K trailer released earlier in the month, which showed some of the awards the game has one and some of the hats that protagonist Sam can wear. There aren’t that many weapons to choose from in Demon’s Souls, both the original and the remake, at least when compared to similar games. Despite only being released just recently the forums are already filled with comments about how great the Blue Blood Sword or Lava Bow are, and how everyone should be using them. In truth, those are both supremely good weapons in Demon’s Souls; however, there are numerous weapons that are already getting a reputation for being underrated....

While Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has improved its solo play experience and online multiplayer, one feature continues to fall into question. The title has been out for several months, and countless bugs have been resolved by the developers. Despite this, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War falls dreadfully short in its ability to allow split-screen gameplay. For many fans, this is a minor problem with the title as online play now dominates the multiplayer space....
