Destiny 2 players having issues accessing the game aren’t alone, as Bungie has confirmed that the servers for both Destiny and Destiny 2 are currently experiencing issues. As of this writing, there’s no ETA for a fix, but Bungie urged fans to check in with its support page for updates. On Twitter, Bungie revealed that multiple players are getting stuck with “Baboon” error prompts, which is typically caused by packet loss between the player’s game and Destiny 2’s servers....

Players woke up today disappointed that they won’t be able to acquire the Felwinter’s Lie due to a bug in the quest. The Lie dropped last week in Destiny 2 to some controversy. Although players were excited to see the return of the Felwinter’s Lie shotgun from Destiny 1, the community portion of the questline was (at least initially) considered to be a pretty tall order. At the start of “The Lie” questline, the Destiny 2 community was required to complete 9 million Seraph Tower public events....

When Destiny first launched back in September of last year, many gamers had criticisms about the title’s story structure. While most found the gameplay compelling, the lack of a narrative through line, or a tangible sense of why the player was going from place to place, seemed to leave a lot to be desired. But with the launch of The Taken King expansion, a lot of those issues have been fixed, or at least improved upon....

Also, there was a lot of cut content from the final product. Mostly in trems of quests, which were either cut for being too much even for Cyberpunk’s very adult themes or the devs just couldn’t get them to work in time for release....

The developer behind the hit indie title Children of Morta has announced in its updated 2021 roadmap that the next DLC for the game will be free. As reported by TechRaptor, Children of Morta developers Dead Mage Studios and 11 Bit Studios have announced sweeping changes to their roadmap published in 2019. Originally, Children of Morta was to see three new updates that included online co-op, an endless mode, and a new story chapter....

The days until the official start of the next console generation continue to fall off the calendar and bring gamers closer to November 15 and November 22, when the PS4 and Xbox One release, respectively. Cyberpunk 2077 refunds cost CDPR more than $50 million even though its recent financial report makes it seem like that number was actually a lot less. CD Projekt Red has published a report detailing its earnings and revenue for 2020. Almost everyone combing through the numbers has been doing so in search of Cyberpunk 2077 details. On the surface, the report appears to reveal CDPR only lost out on $2.2 million thanks to copies of Cyberpunk being returned....

Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red set out to make the game its most ambitious project ever, even bigger than The Witcher 3 and its related DLCs. Of course, such an undertaking costs quite a bit of money, so along with being the most ambitious title CD Projekt Red has ever developed, Cyberpunk 2077 is also the most expensive. By June of this year alone, it had a total estimated cost that exceeded over $120 million....

Arguably the strongest, and possibly coolest, boss in Dark Souls 3, Slave Knight Gael has put down countless Ashen Ones. If his kill count against all players globally was recorded, it would easily be in the millions. Across 3 different phases, Gael unleashes standard, strike, thrust, and dark damage as well as being able to encourage the heavens to rain down blue-white bolts that deal lightning damage. The Slave Knight’s origins are unknown, as he is mentioned in Dark Souls 3 to be a wanderer who likely ended up in The Ringed City much like how the player did and is experiencing the converging of worlds and times in a similar manner....

Developer Phoenix Labs has announced a number of exciting additions in the next season of Dauntless, including new ways to earn cosmetics, cells, and new attacks, all within the brand new Trials arena. The new season, named High Skies, brings a new character to the city of Ramsgate named Lady Luck. She has brought with her an entire arena to test the best Slayers against some of the nastiest hybrid Behemoths the developers could imagine....

This weekend’s going to be a big one for DC fans, as it is when DC FanDome will be taking place, a virtual event that will no doubt see a bunch of announcements made regarding upcoming comics, TV shows, films, and video games. We’re already well aware of certain announcements that we can expect; namely the new Batman game from Warner Bros. Montreal and Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad title, both of which have been heavily teased as of late....

Deep Silver releases a trailer for Dead Island: Definitive Collection, which includes remastered versions of the original game and Dead Island: Riptide. Last year, rumors of a Dead Island remaster cropped up thanks to a listing by a South African retailer. Well, those rumors have finally been substantiated, as Deep Silver has officially announced Dead Island: Definitive Collection for release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 31st. Dead Island: Definitive Collection includes both the original Dead Island game as well as the quasi-sequel Dead Island: Riptide....

This week saw Animal Crossing: New Horizons pick up the BAFTA for best multiplayer - an accolade I support and despise in equal measure. I love it because it was a delightful escape during the earlier months of quarantine. Me and my friends spent countless hours hopping between islands, throwing out emotes around the campfire and exchanging gifts. It was wonderful, and still is, but the technology that underpins it is anything but....

It’s the final weekend of Xur before The Dark Below DLC hits Destiny, which means that for a lot of items it could be now or never. It’s also the first time Xur will have the new exotic shards for sale, which are the new upgrade materials for exotic armor and weapons moving forward. So, where is Xur this week? He’s right inside of the tower hangar in his usual spot....

The Dawning has ended, but there’s still more to do before the end of Season of the Hunt. This week, the final step of Crow’s questline is available to complete solo or in a fire team. A word of caution, however: the quest is apparently very buggy. The mission, called Coup De Grâce, ends the questline that began with the death of Osiris’s ghost Sagira. Crow offers an upgrade to your lure which allows that two of you to hunt down the Hive Celebrant responsible....
