Crysis Remastered will finally be released for consoles and PC later in September after it was delayed to allow more time for polishing. Many players have been enjoying Dead by Daylight’s most recent DLC Chapter, “Silent Hill.” This DLC includes many callbacks to Silent Hill titles as well as other Konami titles with the Konami Code even serving as an Easter Egg for players to find. While not every player has purchased the DLC, all Dead by Daylight players have access to the new map introduced in this chapter, Midwich Elementary School. This map includes many details from the original PSX Silent Hill, but it also includes something very special....

Players come back as Guardians in Bungie in Activision’s Destiny 2 to defend the Earth and the galaxy from various threats. Thankfully, Guardians can tap into the Light to manipulate their environments (Warlocks), defend their comrades (Titan), and strike fast (Hunter) while pursuing this mission. In Destiny 2, players can tap into various subclasses to diversify their Guardian’s skill sets and abilities. Moreover, they can install Weapon Mods to their weaponry to maximize their loadout....

Destiny 2’s Season of the Worthy has officially arrived, and players are now busy participating in the Trials of Osiris and working to obtain the Fourth Horseman exotic shotgun. Procuring this weapon, which first appeared in the original Destiny, requires the completion of a multi-part quest that starts with a trip to Zavala’s office. However, some players are discovering that Zavala’s office door is closed when they reach it, but fortunately there is a way to get it open....

For Destiny 2’s Faction Rally, developer Bungie wants to give players as many ways to earn Tokens as possible. They can complete Crucible matches, public events, and Lost Sectors (to name a few), and in exchange earn varying numbers of Faction Rally Tokens. But while Bungie has clearly outlined all of the main ways to earn Faction Rally tokens, there is one method that is kept a secret. For each Faction Rally, Bungie hides a scannable item in one Lost Sector on each of the four Destinations....

The march toward launch has officially started for Destiny 2, and while very little is known about even the base game itself, there’s some information that can be gleaned from the small amount has been shown concerning Destiny 2’s planned expansions. Among the announcements that trickled out as part of the official reveal for Destiny 2 was the one that the shooter will be getting two expansions, seemingly the sequel’s equivalent to Destiny 1’s The Dark Below and House of Wolves....

Over the course of Destiny’s 5-year history, developer Bungie has tried several approaches when it comes to raid launches from over a weeklong wait to a 3-day wait. For Destiny 2’s upcoming Crown of Sorrow raid, the developer is doing something completely different and potentially controversial. As revealed during the Weekly Bungie Blog post, Destiny 2 will launch the Season of Opulence content and the Crown of Sorrow raid on the same day, only six hours apart....

Most would probably agree that Destiny 2 made good on its promise to deliver a cinematic campaign with memorable characters and a storyline that’s easy to follow. The game’s narrative was an incredible improvement over the story told in Destiny 1, and it ends with momentum to carry the franchise into the future. For those who have finished the game, there is a scene after the credits that is no doubt foreshadowing what is to come in the narrative of Destiny, whether that comes in the expansions for Destiny 2 or in Destiny 3....

Armor transmog has arrived in Destiny 2, and it’s turned out to be even worse than what Guardians had initially feared. Details of Armor Synthesis–the term given for Destiny 2’s armor transmog system–revealed back in April were less than encouraging. An artificial cap would prevent players from unlocking their full collection for at least 46 years unless they paid to get around it, and the process for getting even a single piece of armor could be best described as needlessly convoluted....

Fans have found new UI images and a lore entry for a certain rumored Destiny 1 exotic making its return in the near future in the sequel. After doing some digging, players discovered that the Destiny 2 database contains UI images and a lore tab entry for Thunderlord, the exotic heavy machine gun from Destiny 1....

Today is the launch of the “Go Fast” update in Destiny 2, and with it comes a slew of changes, mostly to the sandbox. The update hopes to fix several complaints that the Destiny 2 community has had with the game since launch. For starters, Nightfall strikes are getting new unique rewards that players can earn through any form of the Nightfall activity. Drop rates for these rewards will increase based on the score the players receive during the activity....

Although developer Bungie has not outlined what the upgrades might entail, the studio did confirm that Destiny 2 is headed to next-gen platforms PS5 and Xbox Series. The hope is that the new consoles will give Destiny 2 a big boost in the visual and performance department, rivaling what is available on comparable PCs. However, even if Destiny 2 doesn’t receive a visual overhaul on PS5 and Xbox Series X, players should see two major changes with their gaming experience....

Destiny players have discovered a small glitch with the new Crota challenge in the Crota’s End raid that is preventing them from completing the event. Apparently, the glitch can happen if players go through certain sections of the raid without dying, especially the bridge section and the Ir Yut Challenge. Bungie has yet to acknowledge the glitch, but it appears that problems arise because Destiny (the game) is not acknowledging barriers between different sections of the Crota’s End raid....

When the latest reboot of the Saw franchise was announced, the most interesting tidbit was the involvement of Chris Rock, both starring in the lead role and conceiving the story. Playing a detective on the trail of a mysterious serial killer, Rock is joining Get Out’s Jordan Peele and Halloween’s Danny McBride in the growing roster of comedy people transitioning into horror cinema. The Chris Rock Saw movie, titled Spiral: From the Book of Saw, has been compared to David Fincher’s Se7en by its director Darren Lynn Bousman....
