One of the creators behind the classic Nintendo 64 game 1080 Snowboarding has returned with Chuhai Labs to bring the snow sport back to the video game circuit with this modern interpretation of the game that has changed the extreme sports genre. In Carve Snowboarding, players will get a first-person view and can grab onto their board to do tricks....

World of Warcraft has always had a variety of world events to keep players entertained. One of the most endearing is the Darkmoon Faire, a traveling carnival that visits Azeroth every month. Players can play games and trade tickets to obtain special items, including trinkets and consumables. Not everything about the Faire is great, however, and there are some changes fans would like to see. Keep in mind that this is the Darkmoon Faire in Classic WoW, and the version in retail might have already made these changes or something like them....

After months of acquisition talks with various companies, Codemasters has voted in favor of being acquired by EA, finally closing a deal with the video game publisher. The vote was conducted remotely on Wednesday, February 3, with 63 of the 76 shareholders present opting for EA to purchase the company and welcome it into its roster of development studios. The news comes two weeks after Codemasters’ Executive Director Ian Bell, CEO Frank Sagnier, and CFO Rashid Varachia all agreed to vote in favor of the EA acquisition, and recommended shareholders to do the same....

Dragon’s Eye is an indie action adventure from Pixel Maverick Games that displays colorful visuals with fantasy lore. A Cyberpunk 2077 leak may be a hint that CD Projekt RED’s sci-fi RPG won’t be releasing until 2020. A Polish advertisement for a retail Standard Edition of Cyberpunk 2077 has been leaked, which will include a variety of goodies such as stickers, a postcard, and a Night City map. There’s also some digital content, like a mini-artbook. But the key item is a “Cyberpunk 2020 Manual,” likely a throwback to the original Cyberpunk 2020 pen and paper RPG....

Publisher 505 Games has revealed the type of PC you’ll need to get Death Stranding running next month and it’s actually not too bad. The recommended setup for 60 FPS at 1080p resolution can be had with seven-year-old hardware, which is fairly cheap to make nowadays. Most people will probably already have a PC much more capable without doing any upgrading. As well as posting the requirements, 505 has also detailed what the Half-Life crossover content will contain....

As leaked earlier today, Arkane Studios announced Deathloop will be its next game as part of Bethesda’s E3 2019 press conference. Arkane Studios most recently released Prey and before that Dishonored and its sequel. Deathloop will mark a new direction for the studio, a new IP, but retain the first-person action-shooter gameplay that Arkane is known for. As with Dishonored and Prey, the player will be given a toolset of unique abilities and weapons so as to approach any gameplay...

While many assumed that the villain Ghaul would be the final boss for the Leviathan raid, a descent into the Destiny 2 endgame has revealed a new foe. Emperor Calus waits at the end of the trek through the “World Eater,” and he is as formidable as any that have crossed Guardians before. To beat Calus, fireteams will need to be extremely coordinated, more so than they have been in anything in Destiny 2 thus far....

In its latest This Week at Bungie article, Bungie announced how loot pools will be changing in Destiny 2’s next season of content. These changes involve the retirement of many beloved weapons from activity reward pools. Weapons of note that will still be available next season are the Faction Rally weapons reintroduced this season and Truthteller and Nature of the Beast, both of which will be getting random rolls for the first time....

Along with every season, Bungie issues sweeping patches that fix a lot of the bugs and balance issues that fans report. In the most recent Destiny 2 update, Bungie fixed the infamous Wardcliff Coil glitch, which would allow players to get extra power ammo when switching from the rocket launcher to a different power weapon....
