With Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red appears to have its sights set high, and the details on the title that are currently available are certain to have many fans very excited about the game’s release. These details include information on things like Cyberpunk 2077’s interesting approach to questing, and a new job listing shines a little more light on what players can expect from this highly anticipated RPG. Specifically, CD Projekt Red is currently looking to hire an “In-Game Ads Illustrator” to work on Cyberpunk 2077....

The hype is apparently very real for Cyberpunk 2077. It’s been just three days since CD Projekt Red dropped their five-minute gameplay trailer, and already it’s been viewed over 21 million times. When you add in the ten localizations that the Polish studio did for that same trailer, you can add another million or so views to that count. It’s not hard to see why this trailer in particular would get everyone’s attention....

It’s been seven long years since the last mainline game in the series but fans won’t have long to wait, as Dead or Alive 6 has now been given a release date of February 15, 2019. The game was first announced earlier this year, with Kasumi, Helena, Hayate, Jann Lee, Zack, Rig, Hitomi, Leifang and Ninja Gaiden star Ryu Hayabusa all confirmed for the roster. There will also be a brand new character, Diego, a gritty street fighter from New York....

Microsoft has revealed the selection of titles being offered in December 2020 for “Games with Gold” and it’s really unimpressive. I hate to sound like a downer, but the only title here that is even remotely interesting is Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell. No discredit to the other games, but this feels pretty limp compared to the excellent offering of games that Game Pass received this month. Gat Out Of Hell isn’t even great, but you can’t complain about getting it for free....

Def Jam: Fight for NY may be a couple of console generations old at this point, but the game is still remembered fondly as one of the best fighting games of its era. Unfortunately, Def Jam: Icon was met with a lukewarm reception, and stopped the franchise’s momentum dead in its tracks. However, it seems as though the official Twitter page for Def Jam Recordings has started teasing a direct followup to Def Jam: Fight for NY....

This month’s Game Informer dropped a ton of new information about Destiny 2’s September Forsaken expansion, including some interesting new details about the Dreaming City. In the article, Bungie announced that the Dreaming City will feature a ton of new content and activities, including exotic quests and public events for Destiny 2 players to take on after the main campaign. The Dreaming City is the endgame patrol zone that players will get to explore, and Bungie has confirmed that the area will not be accessible until after players beat the Forsaken story....

In Destiny 2 the currency “Glimmer” can be spent on a variety of things including new weapons, new ships, new mods, and equipping shaders. It’s why players try to discover Glimmer farming methods to earn the currency in the most efficient way possible. However, it seems that the game has a Glimmer farming cap which prevents players from earning it quickly. It appears that a new glitch has been discovered in Destiny, this one affecting heavy ammo in PvP, allowing a player to pick up an extra magazine of heavy machine gun ammo. Destiny has had its fair share of glitches in PvP that have negatively affected the competitive landscape. There have been a few glitches affecting the Hunter class—the Nightstalker’s infinite Shadowshot glitch and the bug that allowed Gunslingers to charge their Super at an incredibly fast rate—but this new exploit appears to be available to any player regardless of class....

Yesterday was International Cat Day, the one day a year we celebrate our feline friends wherever they may be. On the back of the critically acclaimed The Witcher 3, many were looking forward to the company’s next project. Cyberpunk 2077 is set to continue RPG elements that the developer is known for, in an expansive open-world but it will be in a dystopian sci-fi infused future. Unfortunately, it seems that the scope of this latest game has led to some practices that many are concerned about....
