Although we may have criticized Bungie for their lack of improvement-focused updates when it comes to Destiny, the fact of the matter is the developer is listening. They know how important the fan base is to the longevity of their game, and therefore have taken considerable strides to meet those players’ needs. However, Bungie has also come under fire for updates that seemingly change Destiny for the negative. More specifically, we are talking about the most recent hot fix, which, among other things, nerfed the Vex Mythoclast in PvP and PvE....

Destiny 2’s hidden exotic quest, The Whisper, is perhaps one of the most complex and interesting quests that Bungie has crafted in the history of Destiny, and one of the biggest questions revolves around a mysterious blueprint that one of the chests in the mission drops. The blueprint is for a ship, and the schematic looks a lot like a ship from the first game: The Agonarch Karve. This ethereal sphere hovering over Earth’s last bastion has been the source plenty of mystery in Destiny’s lore, and although Guardians have learned an awful lot about it since the original and Destiny 2, the Traveler still remains fairly enigmatic in several ways. It’s been a year-long wait, but Destiny: The Taken King has finally arrived. The expansion’s new missions, gear, and strikes all officially went live earlier this morning at 5:00am PT, and it’s a given that the majority of the planet’s Guardians will be dedicating most of their day to the exploration of all that Update 2.0 and the add-ons have to offer. This Friday, even if Destiny fans still haven’t scratched the surface of what Bungie’s included in the DLC thus far, it’s a safe to assume that most active players will drop their current obligations in order to take part in the highly anticipated King’s Fall raid....

If you were hoping to step into the boots of Nemesis this weekend, you’ll possibly need to make other plans. A mere seven hours after its launch, Capcom has pulled the Resident Evil RE:Verse open beta after some matchmaking issues were discovered. Currently, there is no timeframe for when the beta will be back online, but Capcom is looking into the issue and will update fans accordingly. It appears as if this issue has affected all platforms because the beta isn’t available on PC, PS4, or Xbox One....

Hype for Mega Man Battle Network’s 20th anniversary is beginning to grow as Capcom is currently seeking licensing partners for the title. We reported earlier this year that the publisher was looking for Japanese licensing partners to help with the celebration, but it has now opened its arms to Western territories as well, according to Rockman Corner. Eagle-eyed Mega Man fans noticed Capcom USA is looking for applicants to create new products for the 20th anniversary of Mega Man Battle Network (or Megaman EXE in Japan)....

Monster Hunter World made a positive impression when it was released in 2018, and many felt that it paid homage to previous entries while becoming accessible enough for newcomers. Despite critics praising Monster Hunter World, some players were disappointed that the game was not coming to any Nintendo console as previous iterations had. The publisher and developer of the title, Capcom, has now responded to questions of a Nintendo Switch port and it will give many fans mixed feelings....

CD Projekt Red has been having a rough 2021. It’s co-founder recently issued a public apology for the Cyberpunk 2077 debacle, although that statement led to a longwinded discussion about the studio’s QA department – one that many people believe is underpaid and overworked. However, Lukasz Babiel – QA Lead for Cyberpunk 2077 – doesn’t think that’s the case. In a recent statement, the CD Projekt Red employee refuted those claims and sided with the company....

Animal Crossing fans who love to keep journals are going to want to get in on this deal ASAP. Sanei Boeki is reprinting its Animal Crossing stationary line and it’s too adorable to handle. But don’t get too excited just yet. The new Chinese market trailer of Paul W.S. Anderson’s adaptation of Capcom’s Monster Hunter franchise has finally confirmed what we were all hoping for. The mighty Meowscular Chef will be coming to the big screen. Oh, and there’s a look at some more monsters too if you’re into that sort of thing. In comparison to the previous trailer, the new Chinese trailer is less about Captain Natalie Artemis (Millia Jovovich) and her military team and more about how she and the Hunter (Tony Jaa) overcome the language barrier to take on the giant monsters that roam the land....

Those who are fans of Chuck E. Cheese restaurants may want to think about saying their goodbyes. After months of failed attempts at tricking customers into thinking it was Pasquallys Pizza, the large restaurant chain has officially filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The news comes the way of CEC Entertainment, the parent company of Chuck E. Cheese. According to a press release, the company attributed the move to the continuous shutdowns caused by the COVID-19 outbreak that’s sweeping the world....

Few indie games reach Cuphead’s level of success. It’s easy to see why this game rose to internet stardom. Melding incredible visuals and music reminiscent of an earlier era of media, it’s an unforgettable gem. The game may be cute, but there’s incredible difficulty hidden beneath the surface. The unprepared are sure to struggle, as Cuphead is one of the most challenging games to come out in recent years. Those willing to face the challenge presented by Cuphead may need some assistance on their journey through Inkwell Isle....
