Crysis Remastered’s reveal has gone all wrong. The game was originally planned to be revealed today with a new gameplay trailer showing just how Crytek has improved the 2007 PC game. However, a leaked trailer and a lot of negative feedback have led to Crytek reneging on its plans, pulling the reveal video before its planned release. Further, Crytake has now announced that Crysis Remastered will no longer meet its previously announced release date, delaying the game “by a few weeks....

Warner Bros.’ DC FanDome provided the company an opportunity to showcase its upcoming DC films, television shows, video games, and comics in the absence of an in-person convention due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, the company reports the virtual event garnered 22 million global views from over 220 countries and territories in just 24 hours. According to Warner Bros., the Hall of Heroes event amassed those 22 million global views from DC FanDome’s in-house player, live streams from comic book influencers, and user-generated content by fans who watched the presentation....

Behavior Interactive released a video during PAX East announcing that Ash J. Williams, of Ash vs. Evil Dead, will be added to Dead by Daylight as the 17th playable character. The character will also be voiced by Bruce Campbell, who played Ash on the show and during the original Evil Dead trilogy. The announcement comes after rumors earlier this year suggested that Dead by Daylight would be adding content from the cult classic Evil Dead franchise....

Media Molecule’s upcoming PS4 sandbox title Dreams, which allows players to create and customize their own levels, has finally become available for beta users after a couple of years of delays, and players are already hard at work coming up with cool and creative ideas. UPDATE: A new Death Stranding trailer has confirmed that Kojima Production’s ambitious new game will release on November 8, 2019. Although Death Stranding has been in development for a few years now, the game itself and its release date is still a mystery that is yet to be unveiled. Recently, a pre-order page for Death Stranding was accidentally leaked on the PlayStation Store, suggesting that an official announcement of the game’s launch date is on the horizon....

Bungie believes it has resolved an issue that prevented Destiny players from acquiring the Silver currency they purchased online over the weekend. Silver being Destiny’s in-game microtransaction currency. The now infamous “Silver Sync Pending” error was affecting a large amount of Destiny players over the weekend on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The issue would allow players to spend money, but not give them their Silver purchase. It’s unclear if Bungie’s solution resulted in Silver delivery for all weekend buyers, or if it’s only solved for purchasers from now onward....

As Destiny’s Year One cycle is almost complete, the action-RPG has without a doubt taken its fair share of flak from fans and critics alike. While some gamers consider most, if not all of Destiny’s content to be rather pedestrian – with the Borderlands series being a more flavorful first-person shooter-cum-MMO, save for its grating sense of humor – a lot of fans have stuck by Bungie’s product, spending many evenings and weekends with the game....

Destiny 2’s second expansion, Warmind, is set to release in just a few days and will be bringing more than a few new features, such as Escalation Protocol, with it. Many Destiny 2 fans who bought the season pass early will certainly be motivated to come back and see how the game is doing. For non-season pass holders, many of whom skipped the Curse of Osiris and would rather not buy it, choosing whether to come back or not has been a tough decision to make....

Bungie took Destiny 2 fans by surprise today when they unveiled a new hidden exotic quest on Io. The Whispers quest seemed to unlock today, and is perhaps one of the most complex and interesting quests Bungie has crafted in Destiny history. While exploring the mysterious Vex-themed cavern, there are five hidden chests that Destiny 2 players will want to snag. These chests only appear in the Heroic version of The Whispers, which unlocks on the Io map after completing the regular version....

Fans got a surprise treat this week as Bungie launched a new exotic quest alongside the traditional Tuesday reset. As players found the Transponder and assisted the Fallen captain Mithrax, players were rewarded with Outbreak Perfected, a variation on the notoriously difficult to get exotic pulse rifle previously seen in Destiny: Rise of Iron. Like its predecessor, Outbreak Perfected retains the SIVA nanite swarms and has already managed to become the go to weapon to quickly eliminate raid bosses....

Destiny 2 players should be warned: there is a bug with the game that can lock them out of their account. The bug only occurs under very specific circumstances but it’s better for players to be aware and prevent it then to lose access to their account. The bug is tied to the random bounties that can unlock when completing other bounties or dismantling gear. For clans, there is a perk that will unlock an additional bounty when completing a bounty....
