Nothing is safe from dataminers. If there’s even a shred of evidence in a game’s code that new content is coming they’ll be able to find it and post it on the internet for all to see. This is especially the case for PC games, but even Nintendo isn’t safe from their prying, datamining eyes. This is why we may know a little more about the extra content that could be added to Animal Crossing: New Horizons....
If there’s one in-road for next-gen PS4 information that’s almost as good as Sony it’s first party developers. If Sony wants to hit the ground running — presumably this Fall — they’ve likely already provided dev kits to first party guys like Naughty Dog, Media Molecule, and Guerrilla Games and maybe even those third party devs, like Quantic Dream, that have been favoring Sony in recent years. Bungie dropped a ton of new information regarding its plans for the Destiny franchise post-Annual Pass and Activition prior to E3. While the company revealed the previously leaked expansion Shadowkeep, details on the free-to-play version called Destiny 2: New Light also surfaced. As part of the what’s next presentation, fans got to see a deeper RPG system as well as the promise of a cross-save feature for players on multiple platforms....
After a lot of mystery and rumors, Bungie finally pulled the curtain back on what’s next for Destiny 2 by releasing a lengthy new trailer showing off what the studio has planned over the next year. The first of three new content updates arrives next week with Black Armory, which not only adds new exotics, vanity rewards, and much more, but it also adds new activities for players to participate in as well....
Datamining has become a big event for many popular games and Destiny 2 is no exception to that rule. With fan interest continuing to wane with Trials of Osiris and the bounty heavy seasonal structure, players were beginning to worry that the content was starting to dry up for Season of the Worthy. During its Beyond Light livestream earlier this summer, Bungie introduced fans to the Destiny Content Vault. As Bungie noted, Destiny 2 can’t continue to grow forever as this not only poses a technical challenge for the team, it would also pose a high cost for players’ hard drive space as well. The content vault is a way that Bungie can take old and less used content and remove it from the game, sometimes temporarily....
Destiny 2 players have been waiting months for the chance to finish their Forerunner Seal, and today Bungie finally unlocked the final piece of the puzzle. Now, anyone can claim the Forerunner title in Destiny 2 and even buy a commemorative pin from Bungie if they so choose. Thanks to datamines of the Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals Triumphs, players knew that there was one final piece of the Interference storyline left to complete....
It was bound to happen sooner or later, but it’s still disappointing news nonetheless. Bungie’s latest patch for Destiny 2 removes the Destiny 1 loot cave easter egg that the Beyond Light expansion introduced. The patch — properly known as hotfix 3.0.0.4 — nerfs the number of enemies that the cave spawns. In other words, players can no longer use the cave to easily collect massive amounts of loot, which they did by killing off bottlenecked hordes in short intervals....
Destiny’s community manager DeeJ reveals that Guardians who enjoy taking screenshots or videos in the game will be treated to a no-HUD mode in the April update. Plenty of news dropped in today’s official Destiny livestream, revealing what Guardians can expect from the April update. In addition, there was one smaller tidbit of news that nonetheless is pretty exciting: adding the ability for players to remove their HUD. Once the Destiny update is released on April 12th, gamers will be able to turn off their HUD at will....
Cham Cham will launch Samurai Shodown’s Season 3 of content on March 16. SNK released a trailer on Sunday, which showcased her moves and zany personality. When you watch it, you wouldn’t think this is a mature-rated game. As she attacks with her claws and boomerang, no blood is spilled as she smiles and scurries around the stage. The character will be voiced by Yuna Taniguchi, who voices Morphomon in Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna (did you know the Digimon games have actually been pretty decent recently?...

Cities: Skylines is adding a new expansion that brings amusement parks and zoos to an already outstanding city simulator game. Watch out Atari; there’s a new amusement park simulator game in town. And it’s actually an old game that already took the crown of city simulator away from SimCity. That game is Cities: Skylines, the city-sim game made by Finnish developers Colossal Order and published by Paradox Games. After selling five million copies on PC, Cities: Skylines shows no signs of slowing down....
Civilization VI is taking players to the society of for their next expansion. The development team behind the popular franchise has announced that Babylon will be the next entry in the New Frontier Pass DLC that is coming out sometime this week. The New Frontier Pass made its way into Civ 6 earlier this year with more civilizations and leaders for players to tackle. Released in May, every other month will offer new content, such as new gameplay modes, buildings, and wonders....
Shortly after Cliff Bleszinski announced his departure from Epic Games many expected the talented Design Director to take up employment at a new outfit. However, a full two years has gone by, and while Bleszinski has still been a pretty vocal member of the gaming community, he has yet to announce any forthcoming projects. That will change very soon, however, as Bleszinski confirms that his future plans will be unveiled within the next 7 days....
Veteran game designer and boisterous personality Cliff Bleszinski says he regrets putting his failed hero shooter LawBreakers on Playstation rather than Xbox. Cliff has been outspoken over the years about the fate of 2017’s LawBreakers. Positioned as an “Overwatch-killer,” the game failed to attract a significant audience. By the following September, the game’s servers were shut down and the title was removed from Steam. Cliff has come up with all kinds of reasons as to why LawBreakers failed....
Cobra Kai, a spin off of The Karate Kid, continues to be a rather popular show despite coming over thirty years after the original film. Originally released on YouTube Red, the series was acquired by Netflix, which will release third season of the hit series in 2021. Netflix has got to be happy with their investment too, as Cobra Kai, after being put onto Netflix, dominated the streaming charts from August 31st to September 6th, taking the number one spot....
If you’ve ever walked past a building site and wanted to get your hands on one of those menacing pneumatic drills, then GunDrill might be the game of your dreams. The indie, 2D platformer showcases beautiful colors reminiscent of the wild west, and requires you to mine for monsters. The monsters, in fact, should be avoided at all costs, as it’s actually a substance known as “Ore” that you seek. GunDrill’s dystopian setting pits a mysterious soldier against the terror that lies beneath the surface....
