There is no one else in the video game industry quite like Hideo Kojima. The director behind the fledgling Kojima Productions studio debuted his newest project, Death Stranding, during Sony’s E3 2016 presentation, and it was exactly what fans had come to expect from the man behind Metal Gear Solid....

Ask any experienced raider in Destiny, and they will say that the exotic sword Dark-Drinker is an absolute must when it comes to taking out Aksis, the final boss in the Wrath of the Machine raid. Ahead of an official announcement of his involvement in Destiny 2 from Bungie or Activision, Nolan North, the well-known voice actor, confirms that he will return to reprise his role as the Ghost in the sequel to Bungie’s popular sci-fi shooter. While an official reveal trailer is set to hit later today for Destiny 2, while being interviewed on the ETC Show podcast, North went ahead and spilled the beans that he is in fact lending his voice talents to the game....

Season 6 of Destiny 2, The Season of the Drifter, will kick off on March 5 and run through May 2019, featuring a variety of free and paid content. As part of the March 5 update, everyone’s favorite vendor Xur will start selling Exotics that were first added to the game as part of the Forsaken expansion last year. This was confirmed by the Destiny 2 community manager on Reddit, who explained that while Xur will start selling Forsaken Exotics next week, it doesn’t mean he will always have them for sale....

Destiny 2 has had an interesting journey with many players enjoying the looter shooter and other wishing that Bungie stuck to more conventional first-person shooting games. Despite splitting opinions Destiny 2 has managed to cultivate a dedicated audience and has kept them entertained through frequent updates. With the anticipated Beyond Light expansion arriving in less than a month and set to introduce major changes to the current game, voice actor Lance Reddick who voices Zavala in the game continues to tease big things are on the way....

There are matchmaking changes on the way for Destiny 2’s Competitive playlist in the Crucible. Destiny 2’s developer, Bungie, says the change will go into effect upon the next weekly reset on January 15 at 10 a.m. PST. The changes come amidst a pretty long period of player complaints about how matchmaking in Competitive is currently working. The new matchmaking criteria will be much more weighted to finding teams that are of similar Glory rank....

The first Iron Banner event after the release of the latest Destiny 2 expansion, Warmind, is live, but many players, especially solo players, are unhappy about the matchmaking in this Iron Banner event. Recently, Bungie has introduced a new matchmaking system into the game that helps avoid solo players matching with pre-made fireteams, but only for the game’s standard playlists and not one-off events like Iron Banner. At the moment during matchmaking, solo players are getting teamed up against co-ordinated fireteams instead of getting matched up against other solo players or getting matched up with other co-ordinated fireteams....

Trials of Osiris has been in the spotlight since the start of Season of the Chosen in Destiny 2. Originally disabled due to a new cheese discovered by players, Bungie made some changes that were supposed to fix the win-trading cheese in this game mode. Instead, players found a loophole which ended up getting Trials of Osiris disabled again last weekend. Shortly after, Bungie commented on Twitter that Trials of Osiris will not return until next week (March 23, 2021) as it is looking into the problem....

Destiny 2’s Seraph Tower Public Event can be a tedious grind due to it only having a possibility of dropping the coveted Rasputin loot chest rather than a guarantee. But one player has discovered a trick that lessens the time players have to spend completing it. Usually, Destiny 2’s Seraph Tower demands that players infuse six different Polar Charges with the ball of the central tower to complete it. However, the trick pointed out by Reddit user Ledian00 lowers the threshold of Polar Charges needed....

As a part of the festivities around Destiny’s Halloween live event, Festival of the Lost, Trials of Osiris gets special gameplay modifiers not typical of the mode. Destiny fans are taking part in the game’s newest live event, the second year of the Halloween-themed Festival of the Lost. But for the first time, the weekend PvP playlist, Trials of Osiris, is getting some changes to make things a little spookier....

With the increase of the Light level cap and changes to the upgrade economy, Destiny fans will want to be playing the right activities to level up to 400 Light fast. With the launch of Wrath of the Machine’s Heroic Mode, Destiny’s Light level cap has increased from 385 to 400 Light. Destiny fans who were previously below the 385 Light level cap should have little problem hitting 385 and starting their journey to 400, provided they are mindful of which activities and sources will get them there....

Goku, the main protagonist of the Dragon Ball franchise, is one of the most powerful warriors in anime. Goku’s unique blend of skilled fighting techniques, backed by his arbitrary transformations put him in a class of his own. In fact, one may consider Goku to be overpowered in regards that he can simply destroy planets at his own whim. While Goku does have flaws of his own, such as his regular idiocy and his total disregard to anything but his training, there are few characters that can fight Goku in a fair match, and there are even fewer that can actually defeat him....

When CD Projekt RED released The Witcher in 2007, the company utilized a modified version of BioWare’s Aurora engine, which was initially developed for Neverwinter Nights back in 2002. While The Witcher’s visuals were solid, they certainly didn’t show off the graphical power of the PC as a gaming machine. For The Witcher 2, CD Projekt RED abandoned the Aurora engine and replaced it with its internally developed REDengine, resulting in one of the best looking games of this generation on both the PC and Xbox 360 platforms....

Chicory: A Colorful Tale is a truly phenomenal game. I expect most people who play it will have it in their top ten by the end of the year, and everyone who hasn’t played it will look at it and go “Eh? What’s a Chicory like?” I hope in the next few weeks and months it can pick up some steam and at least become an indie darling, even if it’s never going to be a blockbuster classic or even a breakout hit....

Chris Evans, who has already made his political leanings pretty clear online, has rounded up a few of his colleagues to support his preferred candidate. On October 20th, Captain America himself will be joined by Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Rudd, Mark Ruffalo, and Zoe Saldana in order to raise funds for the Biden campaign....

According to CKY drummer Jess Margera, a new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater is currently in development. VGC reports that Jess Margera appeared on the Behind Closed Doors podcast in late April, where CKY’s previous work on Tony Hawk was discussed. When asked about the band’s work previously appearing on Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3, Jess Margera said, “Yeah, and I believe we’re doing the new one coming out too”. It’s not clear whether Margera is referencing a new song from the band coming to the game, or if it’s a re-licencing of their song in Pro Skater 3, but he seems sure that a new title is coming one way or the other....

Josef Fares, founder of Hazelight Studios and director of It Takes Two, has confirmed on Twitter that the forthcoming co-op romance title has gone gold, meaning the game has completed principal development. It Takes Two, which is set to be released for Windows, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S in March, is only playable in either online or local split screen co-op between two players, the same as Hazelight’s previous title A Way Out....
