One of the most hotly anticipated releases of this spring is From Software’s follow-up to Dark Souls, the PlayStation-exclusive Bloodborne. As the game’s title suggests, blood is a key part of its Dracula-inspired narrative — and for some Danish players, blood will prove to be a very handy resource when they head out to grab their copy of the game. Danish charity GivBlod has announced a partnership with PlayStation that will offer a new PlayStation 4 game to people who donate blood or register to donate blood in Copenhagen on March 23....

Shortly after Dark Star Studios and Another Indie Studio unveiled the announcement trailer for Sinner: Sacrifice Redemption, the pair released the first high-quality screenshots for its upcoming game. Inspired by From Software and Bandai Namco’s action-RPG Dark Souls, Sinner: Sacrifice Redemption features dark and foreboding imagery and spine-chilling enemies, all shown in the newly revealed images. The Dark Souls-like Sinner: Sacrifice Redemption centers around a deceased soldier named Adam, who has lost all his memory and is struggling to make sense of his past....

Unfold Games and Feardemic have today announced an official release date for Darq: Complete Edition. On December 4, players on PS4, Xbox One, and PC will get to experience the psychological game, while PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch owners will have to wait until Q1 2021. Darq: Complete Edition includes the base game along with two DLC packs – The Tower and The Crypt. Both introduced new puzzles and secrets to the terrifying world of Darq, although The Crypt brought with it the most challenging content currently available in the game....

Behavior Interactive has finally revealed the official launch date for Dead by Daylight Mobile, and we have less than a month to wait for the release on both Android and iOS. On April 16, players will be able to dive into the popular horror game from anywhere on their smartphones. The project was first announced on June 20 of 2019, and since then several countries have assisted in testing various builds during the beta....

Bungie has revealed some unique rewards for clans that are able to gain enough experience in Destiny 2, plus hinted at what is to come later this year in the game’s Season 2. Trials of Osiris have finally come to Destiny 2, and they has brought, among many other things, new armor for players to obtain along with them. While some fans will simply be happy earning a set of this new Trials of Osiris armor, others will wish to imbue it with a special glow effect, and Destiny 2 developer Bungie has detailed how these various glows are procured. The first step in adding a glow to a set of this new armor is to go Flawless in Destiny 2’s Trials of Osiris....

The Nightstalker Hunter class’s newest super in Destiny 2, Spectral Blades, is getting a pretty generous buff in an upcoming update. While Bungie did not reveal exactly when players can expect that buff, the developer did go into detail about the changes coming to the newest Nightstalker subclass. These changes should make the Spectral Blades a much stronger option when it comes to choosing between the Hunter class’s new supers. Before the Forsaken expansion released, Spectral Blades looked like it could be extremely strong, but once players got their hands on the subclass, they realized it was not as good as it seemed, suffering from poor hit registration, difficulty being able to close the gap to enemies, and a general feeling of weakness among some other powerful supers added to the Destiny 2 sandbox with Forsaken....

Since Bungie detailed its upcoming Destiny 2 Grandmaster Nightfall Strikes, there has been a debate within the community about rewarding content. For a while now, Destiny 2 has struggled to deliver challenging endgame content with meaningful rewards but things have come to a head as of late. However, one Destiny 2 fan has presented a solution that could easily fix some of the game’s biggest problems, at least on the PvE side....

There’s only a little over a month left to go before Destiny 2 receives its next major round of content with the launch of the Beyond Light expansion. Anticipation is high for how the DLC’s new content will shake up the game for longtime players, but for those who will just be starting out on November 10, Bungie will have plenty of fresh content tailored for them. On paper, last year’s free-to-play relaunch of the game, Destiny 2: New Light, should have been a perfect entry point for new players to jump into the franchise, but its execution has left much to be desired....

Destiny 2’s Iron Banner is back for Season of Arrivals and with it comes some new gear to collect. Technically, the gear is refreshed from past Destiny 2 seasons, but this time around there are new Iron Banner weapon perks to chase. Another key change for Iron Banner this season is the way Bungie is handling the introductory quests. Rather than make Destiny 2 players go through a lengthy quest in order to unlock the new Iron Banner items, the new quest is fairly easy to complete and more importantly, it ties into the weapons available....

It’s been a couple of busy weeks for Destiny 2 players as the Season of the Forge kicked things off, followed the next week by Black Armory, a release which has seemingly divided the community due to its high power level requirements in order to partake in the new content. When the coronavirus pandemic hit the United States, it saw every major movie theater chain temporarily suspend operations. Now that the economy is slowly starting to open back up, movie theaters are looking to get back in business as well, including the giant Cinemark chain. Cobra Kai was already no stranger to the Television Academy’s Emmy Awards, having been nominated in previous years for its karate-centric stunts. Heroines of destiny is a common motif that permeates throughout the Final Fantasy series. From Rinoa to Yuna, there’s been several leading women in the franchise determined to carry out their respective versions of saving the world from imminent doom. Aerith from Final Fantasy 7 and Lunafreya from Final Fantasy 15 are no exception, as both served in oracle-like roles through their own distinct methods. That being said, for a variety of reasons, their place in each Final Fantasy games overarching story are very distinct from one another....

Before the latest update, if a player was disconnected in competitive play, they were swapped out for a handy little bot that other players could then take control of if they died. However, as of the latest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive update, this is no longer possible. No word has been given on why bots have been axed from competitive with the update coming completely out of the blue. Players aren’t too happy about the change, since what this means is that if a player leaves, is kicked, disconnects, or decides to troll and gets banned, then there’s no alternative, making matches even more unfair with the uneven pairing....

SegaSammy, the holding company that includes Sega, just released its financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2021. It wasn’t a super great report for investors, since although Sega Sammy finished in the black, it still lost a ton of money on its pachinko, resort, and arcade businesses. Sega’s video games, however, are doing just fine. Even with half its release schedule cut, Sega expects the next fiscal year to be way more profitable for them than the last one....
