Don’t fret. Despite being the origin of the Soulsborne series, Demon’s Souls in actuality plays a bit easier in certain circumstances than Bloodborne, Dark Souls, and the latter’s third iteration....

With the launch of Gambit Prime in Destiny 2, players may have noticed being rewarded with one of four different weapons with curated perks, which have now been confirmed to drop in the mode. Until recently, however, exactly how to earn these four curated weapons, the Bug-Out Bag SMG, the Sole Survivor Sniper Rifle, the Spare Rations Hand Cannon, and the Last Man Standing Shotgun, has remained a mystery. Originally, the plan with Destiny 2 was to release the sequel two years after Destiny 1, in the fall of 2016. However, development took longer than expected and Bungie delayed the game to 2017 and released the Rise of Iron expansion in the interim. For most players, the decision was not widely known and didn’t have much of an impact, but financially it actually saved Activision $50 million in royalties....

Since the launch of Destiny 2’s Black Armory add-on, players have noted a number of issues with the content, small bugs that have either impeded progress or led to undesirable results. Some of those issues, however, should be fixed in a forthcoming update, which Bungie detailed in its weekly Destiny 2 blog post. While gamers await the official reveal of Destiny 2 gameplay on May 18th, it appears retailer Gamestop has offered new clues about the highly anticipated sequel thanks to a new line of merchandise. This week, Gamestop rolled out a new set of Destiny 2 hats that include unique symbols never before seen in Destiny, and many believe these are our first hints at the new subclasses. There are three hats in total, each of which has an animal symbol, an icon representing one of the three Destiny classes (Hunter, Titan, Warlock), and a representation of the Traveler....

Since the event’s announcement earlier this month, Destiny 2 fans have been greatly looking forward to the gameplay reveal on May 18th. This week, however, developer Bungie gave fans even more reason to be excited, as it confirmed hands-on for the event will follow the initial stream. One of the main criticisms levied against the first entry in Bungie’s science fiction shooter Destiny was its lack of non-playable characters (NPCs) that took on important roles in the gameplay, but it seems as if the developer is intent on rectifying this issue in Destiny 2. As it so happens, the studio officially released a short trailer today introducing fans of the forthcoming sequel to one of its new NPCs known as Hawthorne, and it looks as if she will be bringing some serious firepower to the table....

Though nothing is confirmed, it seems like another Spyro game is on the way sometime in the near future. With the massive success of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, as well as the fact that Crash Bandicoot just recently received a new sequel in the form of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, a new Spyro game now seems all but inevitable. The success of the recent new entry in the Crash series shows that a new Spyro game may be very likely to come next, as both Spyro and Crash tend to follow a similar path....

Tripwire Interactive is known these days for its games that are particularly gory, featuring blood and dismemberment. The Killing Floor and, more recently, the decently reviewed Maneater are some of its claims to fame. One of its titles that has found a niche audience is Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. Chivalry is less about strategically squaring off against knights, and more about how many decapitations one can rack up before being brained with a lute....

Since Hideo Kojima’s PT launched on the PlayStation Store a few years ago, a number of other horror games have attempted to emulate its unique brand of terror. Yet another game seemingly inspired by the likes of PT and other first-person horror titles is on the way in the form of the Kickstarter-funded Civil War/Cold War horror game The Beast Inside. Set in two different eras and starring two different protagonists, The Beast Inside looks absolutely nerve-wracking....

This article contains Cruella spoilers. Would Emma Stone’s Cruella de Vil skin a dog? That’s the million-dollar question that still hangs over Disney’s demented but otherwise free-spirited Cruella. The movie almost devilishly asks audiences to sit with the idea every time Cruella glances over at her kidnapped Dalmatians. Her voiceover narration may insist that she doesn’t blame the pooches for her mother’s death—back when they were summoned by Emma Thompson’s Baroness to push mama off a cliff—yet Cruella also mentions to herself in the movie that they’d make excellent coats....

While Cyberpunk 2077 has had one of the most disastrous launches in recent gaming history, no one can deny that those who can get the game to work have been having a good time playing. The game certainly has a lot to offer with over 70 sidequests for players to explore. Choices made in quests can affect the ending of the game and sidequests are no different at times. Both Sides is a side job in the game that can even lead to an entire romance option in the game if players plan out their playthrough....

Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t exactly a marathon of a game. In comparison to The Witcher 3’s absurdly long mainline story, it’s relatively half the length. Still, it is a substantial storyline by other standards. Once you beat the main story and credits have rolled, player controls will pick back up with V in front of the Embers building from Act 2: Nocturne 15 Op 55. You’ll find that your inventory and experience have carried over and that you are free to roam Night City....

There is no denying that despite the rave reviews for the PC version, CD Projekt Red’s ambitious sci-fi action RPG Cyberpunk 2077 has had something of a disastrous launch, with players reporting game-breaking bugs and overall performance issues. Patches and updates have been released since, with more on the way, but there are still those who feel the game is due some post-release TLC before it feels like a finished game....

CD Projekt Red revealed today that an “unidentified individual or individuals” have gained access to internal files for the developer’s upcoming RPG Cyberpunk 2077, and are threatening to release them if CD Projekt Red doesn’t pay a ransom. The developer announced it has no intention of paying the ransom, which means the Cyberpunk 2077 files may soon be shared with the public. The announcement came by way of CD Projekt Red’s Twitter account, where the developer explained the situation....

My thoughts on Cyberpunk 2077 could best be described as ‘mixed’, and I think the feeling is mutual. I love the characters, especially the minor ones, but found the story lacklustre, the Yellow Peril tropes dated, and the satire - what little there was to be had - weak and hypocritical. It’s occasionally brilliant, occasionally terrible, and often a surprisingly generic mix of the two. Take all these thoughts, plus the context that I’ve played through the game twice, racking up over 100 hours in Night City, and you’ll get an idea of my confusion around Cyberpunk 2077....

It may have taken eight years and three different delays, but CDPR’s Cyberpunk 2077 launched with a lot of success. The game saw 1 million concurrent players on day one, became the fastest-selling PC game of all time, broke a Twitch viewership record, and now we know, turned a profit on day one. The pre-orders for the game were around 8 million units according to the investor relations Twitter account for CDPR....

Dungeons and Dragons has served as a basis for many wonderful games over the years. But many fans carry out their own campaigns virtually these days, too. As the editions have grown and changed, the races such as the Drow and Githyanki have grown in popularity. In fact, the latter species made a huge splash thanks to one of the main characters in Baldur’s Gate 3. A Githyanki princess is seen held captive by the Mind Flayers while soldiers on red dragons try to rescue her in the game’s main trailer....
