It’s a big year for UK quiz shows shaking up the presenter bench. University Challenge and Pointless have lost presenting stalwarts Jeremy Paxman and Richard Osman respectively, Anne Robinson made an early exit from Countdown, and now her replacement Colin Murray has vacated the chair temporarily to welcome a series of special guest hosts. To mark the 40th anniversary of Channel 4 this month, the very first show broadcast on the channel has opened its door to four broadcasting greats, each of whom will host Countdown for one week....

The game marks the first new entry in the franchise in years, though Crash Bandicoot: NSane Trilogy, a remastered bundle of the first three games, launched in 2017. Revealed during a Summer Game Fest stream, the new Crash Bandicoot game looks impressive....

Technical Ability is one of the standout attributes in Cyberpunk 2077. This skill tree allows players to pass a variety of skill checks in the game such as opening doors and hacking. Mainly focusing on the player’s mechanical knowledge and crafting skills, this tree is broken up into two categories: crafting and engineering. This attribute also comes with some great benefits like additional conversation topics, the ability to use tech weapons effectively, and an increase in armor with each point....

Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t only introduce brand-new characters, but it also does a fine job at paying respect to the original RPG. In fact, fans of the original game will be happy to find out that CD Projekt Red prepared a ton of fan service within just the main plot, which introduces central characters like Johnny Silverhand and Rogue. Rogue Amendiares in particular is a character that will be introduced fairly early on in Act 1, before V gets to actually interact with her in Act 2....

Dan Harmon, the creator of Community and Rick and Morty, is creating a new animated series set in ancient Greece. The comedy show is officially a go at Fox, the result of Harmon’s direct broadcast deal with Fox Entertainment. Under the deal, it was announced that a new Harmon animated series was in the works and that it would premiere in 2022. Fox’s Bento Box Entertainment, the same animation studio responsible for Bob’s Burgers, will provide the animation for the new series....

And the reason is that it is very different from the first game while following the same formula as before. Namco Bandai releases a four minute opening cinematic for Dark Souls 3 showcasing a number of characters and giant monsters that players will cross paths with. Koei Tecmo has announced that the upcoming April update for Dead or Alive 6 will be the fighter’s final one. After numerous overpriced season passes and some controversial DLC decisions, it seems the company is ready to move on from this title and let it stagnate in the wild. The update will be available on all platforms starting on April 16. After that, regular online functions will remain active, but no more DLC will be released....

Mimimi Games’ real-time Wild West strategy game Desperados 3 is one of the highest-rated titles of 2020 so far, based on the review aggregate site OpenCritic. Desperados 3’s base campaign has 16 missions that encourage players to solve environmental puzzles with five unique characters, and post-launch content has added even more. Yesterday, publisher THQ Nordic announced that a crew of animals are the latest companions to join the game’s playable roster....

Bungie reveals the recommended Light Level for Guardians to have before taking on the new Wrath of the Machine raid in Destiny’s Rise of Iron expansion. With Destiny’s Rise of Iron releasing in less than 24 hours from now, it’s safe to presume that many Guardians are doing their best to get their characters prepared for the impending launch of the game’s latest expansion. While the forthcoming DLC is set to bring about plenty of content in the way of a new social space, Strikes, PvE and PvP modes, as well as fresh armor and weapons, most fans of the game are more than likely looking forward to the add-on’s Wrath of the Machine raid the most....

Just a few weeks ago, PlayStation announced that it would debut a white PS4 Pro in a special bundle with Destiny 2. Now, PlayStation has some other Destiny-themed hardware that will release this fall with the game. First up is a DualShock 4 controller, decked out in Destiny 2 designs. It is a white controller that matches the new white PS4 Pro, but it is emblazoned with the Destiny 2 logo across its touchpad as well as on its left grip....

In the world of Destiny and Destiny 2, players are always trying to find new ways to “game” the system. As players continue to become more and more familiar with the latest raid to arrive in Destiny 2, more and more pro-level guardians are continuing to refine new strategies to overcome its bosses. In a recent case, two players managed to take a team of two of Beyond Light’s new Hunter Revenants to wipe out the final boss of Deep Stone Crypt in only two damage phases.
