Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt RED responds to a fan question about whether the game has pre-order bonuses. The developer also reveals if those that who have purchased the Cyberpunk 2077 collector’s edition will get special content in the game. CD Projekt RED’s sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077 is now available for pre-order, but the developer explains that those who have pre-ordered won’t get special treatment. Many other games come with exclusive cosmetics, exclusive missions, or several days of early access to the game as a pre-order bonus but CD Projekt RED says that “we don’t do that....

Daemon X Machina was originally announced during Nintendo’s E3 2018 presentation. Since then, there has been little word about the mech action title. That changed in Nintendo’s February Direct. Daemon X Machina’s producer, Kenichiro Tsukuda, appeared in the video to talk about the title. The game has a demo up on the eShop now, titled “Prototype Missions.” While the demo serves as a way for players to try out the title, it also serves as feedback for the development team....

Healers in Bungie’s Destiny 2 take the form of Warlocks. As mainline support, Warlocks need to pay close attention to their party dynamics to ensure survival. After all, unlike MMOs, a shooter like Destiny 2 has multiple things happening at the same time. Thankfully, Warlocks and their abilities ensure players have means of buffing, protecting, and healing their teammates should the need arise. Interestingly, these special abilities also mix up the healing dynamics in the game, as Warlocks tend to be hard-hitters in their own right....

Developer Bungie has revealed much about how Destiny 2’s weapon systems are ready to change with the release of the Forsaken expansion, including new weapon slots, increased lethality of weapons and abilities, and random rolls. Destiny 2: Forsaken is bringing a ton of changes when it launches this fall. One of the biggest changes is the new weapon system, which launches right before Forsaken. Because of the new weapon system, Bungie is reworking how infusion works in-game, throwing out the current system in favor of something simpler. Bungie has updated its development roadmap for Destiny 2, revealing that some features will be arriving for the game a little earlier than expected. Specifically, the weapon slot changes teased for the upcoming Forsaken expansion will actually arrive a week before, on August 28th. For those that have not been following the Destiny 2: Forsaken news, Bungie is planning to take almost all of the restrictions off weapon slots. So if players want to equip three shotguns they will be able to do so, but ammo will be limited since that is still tied to a weapon’s class....

The Taken King has brought many changes to Destiny, including a new focus on story and a questification of all its content. Alongside that new content, Bungie has also doubled down on adding secrets inside Destiny, including events that can only be unlocked at specific times, like the side quest that unlocks a previously unknown exotic sniper rifle Black Spindle. It is the discovery of Black Spindle, within the Daily Heroic version of the mission ‘Lost to Light’, that has ignited the Destiny community....
