Great news for Sony PlayStation 5 fans as product manager Toshimasa Aoki has finally confirmed that the DualSense controller will in fact have a 3.5mm input audio jack for wired headphones. During the initial reveal of the next generation console controller, the initial images appeared to feature an audio jack, but for some reason Sony did not mentioned it outright in their official presentation of the new controller. It may seem like a minor reason to celebrate, but for many players, it means being able to continue using their existing headphones and speakers for online play....

Black Friday is almost here, and many retailers are preparing for the annual shopping holiday. Despite it being a few weeks away, Black Friday deals are already rolling in, as tech and gaming stores work hard to entice customers ahead of time. This is good news for gamers, because it means they can plan where to shop in advance. Over the past few weeks, developer Crytek has made no secret that all is not right at the house that built Far Cry and Crysis. There was talk of bankruptcy, cancelled sequels, and employees refusing to work over unpaid wages, and we knew something had to give. Interactive game entertainment company and live theater show Cthulhu Parlour recently launched the Kickstarter for their newest game, Hotel Lovecraft, and saw its funding goal of $17,831 met maniacally quickly. Hotel Lovecraft is being billed as a hybrid of the roleplaying, board, and choose your own adventure game genres, played with support from audio horror theater to bring it all together. The Hotel Lovecraft Kickstarter campaign ends on August 27, 2020....

Is there a horror franchise that has had a better second act than Child’s Play? The first movie was a genuine slasher innovator with plenty of quirk to go along with its creep. But it came along relatively late in the game so Chucky was always doomed to stand in the shadow of bigger (and taller) horror icons like Freddy, Jason, and Michael Myers. It spawned two immediate sequels, but like his masked or burned compatriots, it was diminishing returns pretty early on....

It’s hard to believe that it has been five years to the day since CD Projekt RED revealed the very first trailer for Cyberpunk 2077. That two-minute long video was enough to make the game one of the most highly anticipated titles around, but unfortunately, nothing has been shown off since. However, a new tweet posted by the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account suggests that this is about to change. Earlier today, the account posted a one-word message that just said “beep” and this was all that was needed to get fans of CD Projekt RED excited, wondering what it could mean....

There’s a sequence in Cyberpunk 2077’s prologue during which you’ll need to use a Braindance to locate a highly-valuable biochip in Yorinobu Arasaka’s hotel room. The Braindance itself is fairly easy to adjust to, although the biochip location isn’t immediately obvious. This rings especially true once you consider that you’ll need to memorize exactly where the biochip is during the Braindance in order to retrieve it when you pull off the actual heist later on....

The latest episode of Night City Wire showcased the vehicles that are found all over Night City and its outskirts. The video included details on specific classes of vehicles found in Cyberpunk 2077 like affordable Economy class, the Executive class for heavy duty vehicles, and the Sport class focused on speed. While a major focus of the video was on the Foley work done to get the most accurate and immersive vehicle sounds, CD Projekt RED also announced a partnership with noted actor Keanu Reeves, who also voices Johnny Silverhand in the game....

Years after its initial announcement, Cyberpunk 2077 is finally expected to get a proper reveal at E3 2018 next month. However, it’s possible that it may still have quite some time left in development, as CD Projekt Red is looking to hire a combat designer for the game. The job listing for the combat encounter designer states that the person selected for the role will create and balance “all combat encounters” in Cyberpunk 2077....

Cyberpunk 2077‘s map has seemingly been leaked ahead of the game’s November 19 release date. This information comes from the ResetEra forums where users shared photos of some of the items that will be included in the physical edition of the game. One of those items happens to be this poster of Cyberpunk 2077‘s in-game map: To get the biggest talking point out of the way, we must say that it certainly does look like Cyberpunk 2077‘s map will be smaller than The Witcher 3‘s map....

New screenshots released by Bandai Namco are sure to make the wait until April 12th all the more agonizing for Dark Souls fans. The images released show off some of the new armor sets, characters, and locations that players will encounter on their journey through the game’s brutal world....

The rework for the Sword weapon in Dauntless is long overdue, and finally coming on July 30. This has been a community requested change for some time now, but as the developer explains, changing one of the core weapons was no easy task. Speaking about the weapon, they say, “We built the original sword to be a jack of all trades. A reliable, simple weapon that even a new Slayer could pick up and swing....
