Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed by CD Projekt Red for the third time, and is now scheduled for release on December 10, 2020. This is only a 21-day delay, the shortest delay so far, though it has still been frustrating news for many fans who took time off work following CD Projekt Red’s promise that the game would not be delayed beyond November 19. One major side effect of the new delay to Cyberpunk 2077 is that the game will no longer be eligible for The Game Awards 2020, losing its chance at The Game Award for Game of the Year until a full year after its current projected release....

Cygames has announced that Eustace will be coming to Granblue Fantasy Versus as a DLC character. The announcement was made during a livestream to commemorate the seventh anniversary of the company. Eustace will join the Granblue Fantasy Versus roster in late April as the fifth playable fighter of Character Pass 2; there’s one more fighter left to be revealed as part of the character pass. A gameplay trailer for the fighter will be revealed on April 15....

Frostbite is an effect in Dark Souls 3 that many consider being overpowered, for when the corresponding bar fills up, the afflicted will lose 11% of their total health as well as 85 more from additive flat damage. On top of this, it lowers their stamina regeneration by a debilitating 15%. Furthermore, as if that wasn’t bad enough, it also increases damage taken from all sources by 7%. All these numbers add up to mean that those affected by Frostbite are more likely to die....

In the world of Destiny 2, things are changing. Earlier this week, Bungie finally answered the nagging question of what’s next for the franchise by not only revealing Fall’s expansion, but two additional expansions beyond that. Needless to say, Destiny 2 will be sticking around for the long haul as Bungie works to evolve the game into more of a platform similar to a true MMORPG such as World of Warcraft....

Earlier this week, Bungie released update 2.0 for Destiny 2, which is meant to pave the way for Forsaken, the game’s Year 2 expansion. There were a ton of changes included with the update, including a rebalancing of weapon damage and a new rewards system built around challenges instead of milestones, however not everything changed in the game was outlined by Bungie. Apparently, with the release of update 2.0, Destiny 2 players have noticed that Skill-Based Matchmaking has returned....

5th Cell’s Castlehold, a competitive strategy game, is now available on PC via Steam Early Access. The free-to-play game, from the developers of Scribblenauts, takes players to an alternate universe created a tear in the space-time continuum. The game’s synopsis reads, “When a cataclysmic event shatters space and time, champions from all eras of history find themselves struggling to survive in a mysterious realm known as the Drift. Recruit knights, cowgirls, druids, buccaneers, samurai, Vikings, futuristic cybers soldiers, and a myriad of other heroes....

Sony Online Entertainment’s free-to-play zombie MMO H1Z1 has been grabbing attention like a bite to the neck. From the promise of a “unique” take on survival horror, the beautiful visuals and scenery, and trying to calm fears over the power of microtransactions by taking on board fan input over monetization, it’s hard not to get even a little excited about a game that just may breathe life back into the zombie genre....

The Civilization 6 New Frontier Pass has been regularly incorporating content for fans of the turn-based strategy game since May 2020. The most recent DLC civilization added late last year was the science-focused Babylon led by Hammurabi, which followed Maya, Gran Colombia, Ethiopia, Byzantium, and Gaul. Today, Firaxis Games announced the game’s fifth DLC will add Vietnam to this list. Vietnam will be a culture and terrain-focused civilization, according to writer Andrew Alan Johnson, who said it is, “Known for its dense forests, fertile flood plains, one of the healthiest cuisines in the world, and a rich, innovative culture....

The latest installment in Firaxis’ smash-hit, ultra-addictive empire simulator franchise, Sid Meier’s Civilization, is set to receive a huge update. On February 8th, 2018, the Civilization VI: Rise And Fall expansion pack is going to be released. Like previous expansion packs, Rise And Fall has been mostly shrouded in mystery up until today. Firaxis has just released a promo video detailing some of the new features that will be included with this update....

Court documents prepared for the Apple versus Epic lawsuit starting next week reveal iOS users accounted for just 7% of Fortnite spending over an almost two-year period. It feels like a lifetime ago now that Apple and Google removed Fortnite from mobile after Epic attempted to circumvent their store charges.
