After waiting with bated breath for quite some time, Destiny 2 fans can finally exhale. Developer Bungie and tech conglomerate Nvidia have unveiled the official PC open beta trailer for the upcoming sequel title. Featuring impressive 4K visuals, 60 frames-per-second graphics, and glimpses at the game’s story mission, the Destiny 2 announcement footage confirms that the PC open beta period will begin on August 29 and wrap up on August 31....
Destiny 2’s current season is coming to a close and players are eager to learn more about Season of [REDACTED]. Bungie is keeping quiet about story details, but the studio did provide a patch note preview in today’s This Week at Bungie that details upcoming gameplay changes for whatever comes after Season of the Worthy. This week also saw the release of two cinematic teasers for the unveiling of the next big chapter in Destiny 2....
A team of Destiny 2 players successfully defeated Calus, the Leviathan raid’s final boss, while bypassing a major part of the fight. To be specific, the raid team was able to defeat Calus without using the plates that kick off the damage phase of the fight. And they did so using a small trick. It was accomplished by Indica, who has also overcome numerous feats in Destiny 1 and Destiny 2....
Season of the Chosen is well underway, and players are finding lots to dig into with Destiny 2 right now. The highlight so far has been the ambitious new mission called Presage, which awards a fittingly impressive gun. Major changes are coming to Destiny 2 in the next few weeks, including a Masterworks tier for weapons and ornaments for armor sets. But that’s not all as developer Bungie has also detailed a significant buff to the game’s token rewards system. Writing in a new blog post Bungie explains that from December 5, Destiny 2 players will receive more tokens for completing activities. Daily challenges will reward players with more Reputation Tokens and Strikes will also drop more Vanguard Reputation Tokens....
Destiny 2 fans have gotten used to new expansions coming out each fall, typically around September. However, that changed in 2021 when Bungie delayed Beyond Light, pushing the expansion’s launch to November and making fans wait a little longer for Year 4 of the game. Now it seems Destiny 2 fans will have to wait even longer for the Witch Queen expansion, as it’s been delayed to early 2022. Bungie did not provide a specific release date for the Destiny 2 Witch Queen expansion beyond “early 2022....
Video game studio Bungie helps a couple of Guardians and game developers become engaged to one another in the popular science fiction shooter Destiny. While plenty of Destiny fans are still doing their best to get all of the raid loot in the Rise of Iron expansion’s Wrath of the Machine, two Guardians recently used the popular action-RPG in a much different way by getting engaged in the title. Interestingly enough, the two are a pair of game developers, and the staff at Bungie actually helped facilitate the proposal....
The arrival of Destiny’s next major DLC expansion, House of Wolves, is getting agonizingly close for fans of the game. Assassin’s Creed has both mainline and spin off games that introduce players to a wide variety of characters, all coming from different time periods, backgrounds, and personalities. However, with a common thread being the Creed they find themselves part of (more or less, as more recent Assassin’s Creed games don’t feature the traditional assassin role), players are bound to find some similarities between different protagonists and their stories. Every character’s reason for joining the Creed (or the Hidden Ones, depending on the time period) is unique, but some stories bear a resemblance too close to deny....
Funcom recently announced the first major expansion for the online open-world multiplayer survival game Conan: Exiles. The Isle of Siptah expansion goes live for the PC Early Access community on September 15, and allows us to experience adventures on the new Isle of Siptah in more than a dozen new dungeons, engage in construction with two new building sets, ride a new mount into battles, and play the game for free until September 14....

At E3 2016, we received confirmation of a PS4 project that PlayStation fans had been requesting for some time, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, a remaster of the first three games in the platforming franchise. The game is set to launch one month from now, and it’s now being reported that Naughty Dog, the creators of the original games, are very happy with the project. Today, Naughty Dog is best known for the spectacle of the Uncharted games, and the gritty action of The Last of Us....

Crimson Desert will have multiplayer gameplay and continue the Pearl Abyss tradition of a massive MMO-style world, but there’s a big focus on creating more narrative and single-player activities… But like past Pearl Abyss games, single player and multiplayer content is all connected....
