Terry Crews hasn’t been shy about his love of gaming, publicly campaigning to be cast as Doomfist in Overwatch, playing a character in Saints Row 4, and often talking about games on social media. This love for gaming has seen Crews cast in Crackdown 3, where he will be playing Commander Jaxon, who is now confirmed to be a playable character. Crystal Dynamics has begun hiring developers to work on its next game, a series of job listings suggests. The next release from the developer is the Marvel’s Avengers game, which has been delayed to September, but it seems that Crystal Dynamics is also planning much further ahead. The Crystal Dynamics careers page now has several job listings for its Redwood City, CA.-based development team. While none of the positions explicitly name the game that the team will be working on, some of the descriptions are more revealing than others....

As soon as CD Projekt Red announced that it was making Cyberpunk 2077, the comparisons to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt were an inevitability. Nobody gets to make a game that is a cultural phenomenon and regarded as one of the best games of all time while avoiding comparisons between it and its next big project. Great news today from Behavior Interactive as they reveal that a colorblind mode has been in the works for quite some time in Dead by Daylight, though they are probably kicking themselves for how the announcement was handled. Patrols are the most basic thing you can do in Destiny 2’s open-world areas. They come in a variety of different flavors, but they all basically do the same thing: give you a short, easy-to-complete task while you’re walking around the surface Europa, Nessus, or wherever else you happen to find yourself. You don’t usually get a lot for completing patrols, but they can sometimes be part of larger quests or bounties, and you can often combine patrols with other activities in order to maximize your farming....
