Capcom has just wrapped its 30-minute demo weekend for Resident Evil Village. The demo let players experience Dimitrescu Castle and its vampire denizens for as far as they could get in half an hour, providing them with a tantalizing taste of what Resident Evil Village will offer when it finally releases on May 7. It looks like fans couldn’t get enough in that paltry 25-hours to satisfy them, so Capcom has decided to extend the multi-platform RE Village demo that’s set to arrive next weekend....
The Nintendo Switch Online subscribers in Japan are about to receive one of the biggest benefits that the service has offered to date, as Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will briefly be free for those with a subscription. Nvidia has just announced the brand new RTX 3080 Ti, a powerful graphics card that supports ray tracing and DLSS, and to show it off, there’s a slew of game update announcements. Chief among them, Doom Eternal’s ray tracing update. Kublai Khan comes to Civilization 6 this week with the Vietnam and Kublai Khan DLC, the latest installment in the New Frontier Pass. A Polish developer is really about to release a video game about the current coronavirus pandemic called COVID: The Outbreak. Jujubee S.A. has announced the title will bring educational gameplay to users worldwide, while the crisis is still going on. Once a series becomes popular, that is basically the only thing that studio will be working on until fans grow tired of it. Crysis Remastered information continues to come forward. Fans have mixed opinions about the game, which is why Crysis Remastered has been delayed for an additional few weeks past the original July 23, 2020 release date. And now, thanks to a listing on the Nintendo eShop, the game’s file size has been revealed. Crysis Remastered will require 6.2GB of space on the Nintendo Switch. It’s Hangeul Day day in South Korea, also known as Korean National Alphabet Day. It’s the day when Korea commemorates the creation of their alphabet by the 15th-century monarch, Sejong the Great. In South Korea, it takes place on October 9th, but in North Korea, it’s celebrated January 15th. Don’t ask why there’s a difference. In most video games, death and defeat are seen as failures and have a stigma attached to them. In Darkest Dungeon, those two things are so common and frequent that planning for victory is an ill-conceived strategy. Working around failure is what matters most in such a title, making it a truly unique trendsetter in its turn-based genre. Too bad it seems Darkest Dungeon 2 is still a ways off....
As the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S settle in, many games are being re-released on them with additional upgrades. Destiny 2: Beyond Light, Season of the Chosen, marks the thirteenth season in Destiny 2, and brings new Hunter Stasis Aspects, as well as new Aspects for the Warlock, and Titan. These new Stasis Aspects allow Guardians to further customize their Stasis subclasses and add some variance between Guardians using the Stasis subclass. Stasis Aspects are one level of customization in the Darkness Stasis subclasses and come with unique perks. Guardians may only equip two Aspects at a time, however, the Aspects themselves also dictate how many Fragment slots Guardians can utilize....
