CD Projekt Red’s upcoming RPG Cyberpunk 2077 is so hotly anticipated that even Obsidian gave a tongue-in-cheek shout-out to the hype in the launch trailer for its game, Grounded. CD Projekt Red has long stated that it is determined to redefine the storytelling capacity of the first-person open-world RPG genre, with every quest feeling like its own full story. However, it was Skyrim almost ten years ago that made that genre what it is today, and there are a few key areas where Cyberpunk 2077 still resembles some of Skyrim’s limitations....

Ever since Robert Lawrence Stine published his Fear Street series, readers quickly huddled to read more from the next big name in the Horror-fiction category. Though aimed at a young audience, the books do indeed provide a good fright. Even adults have reviewed them along those lines. What makes his next series, Goosebumps, so successful, is the fact that R. L. Stine has masterfully balanced simplicity with an unbeatable pace in storytelling....

Days Gone was poised to be one of the big PS4 exclusive of 2019, but the game has launched to mixed reviews. Part of the reason why Days Gone has been criticized since launch is thanks to its glitches and technical issues, which are a little more prevalent than fans are used to when it comes to high budget PS4 exclusives. YouTuber Quite Shallow has now taken some of the more amusing Days Gone glitches and put them together in a funny compilation video that highlights some of the game’s most head-shaking hiccups....

Dead by Daylight is bringing its Halloween DLC, featuring masked Killer Michael Myers, to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Halloween Chapter DLC has been available on PC since late October last year. Since the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Dead by Daylight launched about a year after the PC version, it’s only fair for the Halloween console DLC to launch in… August. Okay, so maybe August isn’t as thematically exciting as October, but console fans likely won’t mind not having to wait....

Destiny players discover the exotic scout rifle, MIDA Mult-Tool, is one of the most powerful guns in the game’s PvP arena, outmatching even the toughest auto rifles. Move over pulse rifles, the MIDA Multi-Tool is the new king of Destiny’s Crucible. According to a new PvP tracking service called Guardian.gg, which offers comprehensive stats about player behavior in the Crucible, it looks like Destiny players are finding a new favorite: the Year 2 version of the MIDA....

Over the course of its nearly 7-year history, Destiny has had a lot of moments that felt like they were make or break. The launch of Taken King brought the fan base back and showed them what Destiny could be. And now Destiny 2 fans get a much closer look at the gear and weapons that will be available in the Beyond Light expansion....

With each passing day, it seems a new mystery is discovered within The Dreaming City, Destiny 2’s largest end-game space in franchise history. Unlocked following the Forsaken campaign, THe Dreaming City is home to many new activities such as the Blind Well wave defense event, many hidden boss fights, the upcoming raid, mysterious cat statues, and of course, Petra Venj. As she did in the previous game, Petra once again has daily and weekly bounties players can pick up and while many are fairly straightforward, one of the daily bounties is leaving many players scratching their heads....

As we enter yet another week of Destiny 2, it’s easily noticed that the game still isn’t as functional as fans would like. Players who are looking to do this week’s Nightfall Strike are in for a tough time, particularly if they want to run it on Prestige difficulty. During the Nightfall Strike, there’s a section where players must pass through a series of blue light pulses that are scattered around the Nexus in order to progress....

Now that powerhouse consoles in the form of the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X are both available to purchase for gamers throughout the world, several existing titles will see performance upgrades to make their expensive purchases worthwhile. One of those titles is Bungie’s Destiny 2, and the latest This Week At Bungie report confirms that the shooter will see some real enhancements on the new hardware. In a section of the blog post entitled “High Fidelity,” Bungie’s Community Manager Cozmo outlines what players can expect when booting up Destiny 2 on a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X for the first time after downloading the new patch....

As promised, Bungie has released a hotfix for Destiny 2 today that addresses the bug for the quest “The Lie” that’s kept players from being able to complete the latest stage of the hunt for the Felwinter’s Lie shotgun. Unfortunately, in an example of “two steps forward, one step back,” the developer has warned players of a slight side-effect of the hotfix that they’ll want to be aware of. To recap, the latest of Destiny 2’s weapon quests has been on shaky footing from the start with players....

Except for its initial reveal, there has not been much shown of Destiny 2’s fall expansion, Shadowkeep. But, as part of a charity stream, developer Bungie gave fans a sneak peek at two Legendary weapons that will be coming as part of the Shadowkeep expansion. The first Destiny 2: Shadowkeep weapon previewed, as concept art, was a fusion rifle called Dreambreaker, and Bungie community manager DeeJ said that it “perhaps lurks somewhere on the lunar surface, perhaps points beyond or below....

Bungie has detailed plans for the future of Destiny 2 in its promised blog update titled “The State of Destiny 2.” The first step of the developer’s plan to address fan criticism and feedback about the game will begin in December, with two updates planned to launch in back-to-back weeks. Numerous changes and additions will be made to the game starting with an update accompanying the December 5th launch of the Curse of Osiris expansion....

Today is a big day for Destiny 2 fans, as the game’s first raid, Leviathan, has launched. It went live at 10 a.m. PDT as planned, and for the hardcore players, the race is on to see who will be the very first team to clear the raid, Destiny 2’s most challenging PvE activity. The appearance of the raid was the final confirmation for a number of theories and hints about the raid....

One of the PlayStation 4’s leaked Trophies for Destiny 2 is kicking off a new wave of speculation about the Nine’s role in the sequel. The Trophy’s icon and text have led Destiny community members on a wild goose chase, tying the Trophy to a past ARG, a Ghost Fragment Grimoire entry, and even Director Luke Smith’s sweatshirts. And it all points back to the mysterious Nine. Spoilers from Destiny 2 are forthcoming, so please stop reading here if you’re saving yourself for September 6....

The game is for one to four players, takes 60 to 90 minutes, and will have lots of twists and turns thanks to Mad Ludwig’s taciturn personality....

The launch of Cyberpunk 2077 has been turbulent, to say the least. While Cyberpunk 2077 has sold more than 13 million units, it has launched in a less-than-ideal technical state, especially on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. As a result, Rosen Law Firm filed a class action lawsuit against CD Projekt on Thursday, citing the violation of federal securities laws. The lawsuit against the Cyberpunk 2077 developer and publisher was filed in California on behalf of CD Projekt investors who had purchased stock between the dates of January 16, 2020 and December 17, 2020....

With talk regarding the next Battlefield game picking up steam, Battlefield 5 has been talked about a bit less than usual as of late. However, one new easter egg should get fans invested in the current title once again, as the complicated journey leads to a special skin. With a previous Battlefield 5 easter egg granting players telekinesis, the latest easter egg had a lot to live up to. Fortunately for fans, it did just that, as the quest sees players literally shatter the glass ceiling....
