Trials of Osiris is Destiny 2’s competitive 3-player PvP activity which is available every weekend on Friday and will run through until the next weekly reset on Tuesday. The activity consists of two teams of three players with straight-up elimination, in which the last standing team wins. The game mode consists of a total of ten rounds and whoever wins five rounds first, wins the match. Last week, we got two weapons and two armor pieces for Trials of Osiris....

Pokemon Go’s Season of Legends event is showing no signs of slowing down. The Searching For Legends portion of the event is underway right now, and you can find out more about it here, but as soon as it wraps up we’ll be on to the Charge Up event, the very first Pokemon Go event which focuses on electric-type Pokemon. During this event you will be given your first ever chance of catching Pokemon like Tynamo and Mega Manectric, which should surely put a spark in your step....

The 25th Anniversary of Tomb Raider is humming along nicely, and this month the focus is on the third game in the iconic adventure series, Tomb Raider 3: Adventures of Lara Croft. Recently, the ESA came under fire for posting and praising an article that suggested women who play games are purely into titles that revolve around fashion, cooking, and cute animals. The stereotypical list of “games girls play” included a huge amount of mobile games and lots of things that aren’t at all brain taxing with no difficult rules or complex controls. Understandably, many women (myself included) objected to the stereotype of girl gamers as ditzy airheads who only play games that allow them to perpetuate gender stereotypes....

Since the studio’s formation back in 1995, Remedy Entertainment has become intrinsically linked with ambitious single-player experiences, developing titles like Max Payne, Alan Wake, Quantum Break, and 2019’s Control. However, it appears the developer will be making a big departure from this reputation in the near future, revealing today that it’s aiming to revolutionize co-operative combat through an upcoming title known as Vanguard. The Onion releases a video portraying Crash Bandicoot as a game exploring the life of a Vietnam War veteran struggling with PTSD and substance abuse problems. The Onion, the satiracle website which paints fictitious news developments as actual news, has gone and done it again. This time, the faux-news website has taken the unsuspecting title character of Crash Bandicoot, and produced a video examining how everyone’s favorite bandicoot is actually portraying the adventures of a veteran from Vietnam struggling with substance abuse problems....

The team behind Homeworld and Hardspace: Shipbreaker is working on a new RTS set in the Crossfire universe, called Crossfire: Legion. Blackbird Interactive was founded around ten years ago by former Relic and EA developers, and the first game it shipped was Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak in 2016. The team hopes to evolve that RTS pedigree into a more action-heavy offering with Crossfire: Legion. The developer was approached by South Korean developer Smilegate after its team played Deserts of Kharak....

Cyberpunk 2077 is full of hypersexualized advertisements due to one of the game’s main plot points about fighting against major companies, though one of those advertisements includes a playful nod to the Witcher series. The reference can be found on one of the Cyberpunk magazines, and it is sure to get a laugh out of fans. Surprisingly enough, the reference has nothing to do with bathtub Geralt. The much-memed sequence of The Witcher’s protagonist in a bathtub was seen all over the internet after the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and the joke was taken to new levels with bathtub scenes in the Netflix series and the release of a special bathtub Geralt figurine....

It’s no secret that Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the most highly anticipated games of the year, but a recent figure showing over 8 million sales before it even came out backs that up. Selling 8 million copies of a game is an achievement in and of itself, but managing to do so before the game releases is an impressive feat. Coming from CD Projekt Red, the same studio responsible for the massively popular The Witcher 3, it should come as no surprise that fans are excited about this game....

The stereotype of the Chaotic Good character in D&D is basically Chaotic Neutral, but only towards jerks. All the killing and looting and “random” destruction that comes with being Chaotic Neutral, but it’s all okay because you only do it to bad guys. This is not bad by itself, but playing a stereotype can get old fast and there are plenty of other ways to play this alignment. One thing that is important to note is that there are many reasons that a Chaotic Good character might follow the law....

The Dallas Fuel completed the last piece of their 2021 roster puzzle after they announced they signed Ki-hyo “Xzi” Jung to fill in the remaining DPS slot the team needed. Like others on the new Fuel squad, Xzi comes over after having an incredibly successful season with the Paris Eternal. Like all of the bosses in Dark Souls 3 that rely on superior numbers, the Deacons of the Deep are reviled for being a cluster of weak cowards who are more tedious than actually difficult. However, they can still pose a threat as they have many chances to land a lucky hit with either their annoying little jabs or their fireballs. Furthermore, the true leader of these hollowed heretics doesn’t even reveal himself until midway through the boss battle, meaning that there isn’t a quick or easy way to end this fight without having to suffer through waves of respawning wretches....

Video game publisher Bandai Namco officially releases a brand new gameplay trailer for the action-RPG Dark Souls 3’s forthcoming DLC known as Ashes of Ariandel. Considering the fact that it’s been about a month since the initial reveal of Dark Souls 3’s Ashes of Ariandel DLC, the game’s developers have decided to give fans yet another taste of what they can expect out of the forthcoming expansion. In order to do so, publisher Bandai Namco has put out a spoiler-filled gameplay trailer for the piece of post-launch content, which actually advises fans to avoid it should they not want to ruin the surprise once it releases next month....

Eagle-eyed gamers analyze the dog tags worn by Norman Reedus’ character in an image of Death Stranding posted online, surmising that they reference black holes. Many fans were surprised to see Hideo Kojima take the stage during Sony’s E3 2016 press conference to unveil his first post-Konami game, a mysterious title called Death Stranding.
