Destiny 2: Beyond Light has been having issues with Trials of Osiris for the last few weeks. Players have been exploiting Destiny 2’s rejoin feature that allows Guardians to rejoin a match they may have been kicked from. In Trials of Osiris, being kicked out of a match can cause a loss on a Guardians Trials Card. The Trials of Osiris game mode has the focus of winning seven matches in a row without a loss in order to achieve a Flawless Card and gain access to the Lighthouse which harbors exclusive gear for Guardians....

One of the unique gameplay features of Destiny is a player’s Super ability, a highly effective perk that takes time to charge up and then is gone either instantaneously or after a short timer. But from time to time, a glitch is discovered in Destiny that allows players to exploit their Super....
CD Projekt Red has been in the hot seat as of late. The company, known for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, has been doing major damage control in the aftermath of the release of Cyberpunk 2077. While some of this has consisted of Day One patches, promises for future updates, and free DLC, many players have either returned the game or dropped it entirely upon beating it. Celeste, a platforming game released on January 25, 2018, on Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, macOS, and Linux, won the Best Independent Game and Games for Impact awards at The Game Awards 2018. Developed by Maddy Thorson and Noel Berry for the Pico-8 platform, the game now has a sequel: Celeste 2: Lani’s Trek, which was released for free today. Pico-8, a virtual machine and game engine created by Lexaloffle Games, allows developers users to create music, sound effects, sprites, maps, and games games with the strict limitations of early game consoles and computers....

Electronic Arts has a complicated and messy history with loot boxes. Cloud9 has completed its competitive VALORANT lineup with the signing of former professional CS:GO player Daniel “vice” Kim, the North American esports organization announced today. Vice has previously competed with Cloud9, representing their Counter-Strike division in 2019. The 24-year-old now rejoins the organization as the final member of its professional VALORANT roster. Daniel “vice” Kim kickstarted his competitive CS:GO career in 2015, briefly playing for Denial Esports and later joining Team SoloMid....
The list of indie games coming to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 continues to grow, as Sony has confirmed that its newly-announced slate of current and next-gen “PlayStation Indies” will include Haven, the chill co-op RPG coming from The Game Bakers later this year. The Game Bakers is known for its 2016 bullet hell/hack-and-slash hybrid Furi, which drew praise for its fast and frenetic gameplay. With its next game, however, the studio wants to do something different and more laidback, a sci-fi romance about two lovers, Yu and Kay, escaping to a lost planet to stay together and discovering its secrets....
We are mere days away from the release of Commander Legends, the newest Commander set to arrive in Magic: The Gathering. It’s been almost a decade since Wizards of the Coast formally acknowledged Commander as a new format, and ever since then, Commander’s growth has been absolutely exponential to the point where I basically don’t even know anyone who plays anything else. Commander Legends switches things up from previous Commander sets....
However you feel about the Marvel movie juggernaut, the sheer magnitude of what it has achieved so far is impressive. An interconnected universe of 23 movies (and counting), populated with both extremely recognisable Marvel comics characters, and some that would have quite frankly only inspired a Djimon Hounsou-intoned “who??” before they were retooled for the big screen. In the 00s, you’d need to have cast a wide net to find a lot of people heavily into Guardians of the Galaxy, but now even your mum can probably name them all and tell you why Rocket is her favourite....

So it was with delight that players received leaks of a new Cooking Mama game coming to the Switch earlier this year, which was eventually revealed to be Cooking Mama: Cookstar, and was released not long after, on March 26th....
Corpse Party is a wild series. It offers all the splatterfest thrills of a Higurashi, but with less pretension and leaner pacing. Initially an RPG Maker game, the franchise eventually grew into its own thing, spawning some solid entries on the PSP, 3DS, and PS Vita. And from the look of it, the franchise will spread its delightful brand of carnage to another handheld platform. Corpse Party Blood Covered:… Repeated Fear is due out in Japan this winter, with both a physical and digital release in the cards....
With Activision and Vicarious Visions’ Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy now only a few weeks away from its release date, the companies behind the forthcoming remastered trilogy of the original PS1 games have decided to amp up excitement for the title by putting out its launch trailer. The footage covers the titles to be included in the compendium, Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot: Warped, and shows off some of the newly updated gameplay....

Ever since the remaster was announced back in April, fans have been wondering how on earth Crysis Remastered will run on the Nintendo Switch. Notorious for its series of shakey ports, Nintendo’s handheld console has garnered an influx of terrible re-releases over the last few years, including the likes of WWE 2K18, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and The Outer Worlds. However, a new half an hour stream held by Crytek seems to hint that Crysis Remastered won’t be added to that list, with the game seemingly running pretty well on the Switch....
Open world games can get a tad bit overwhelming. After a great introduction, you’re thrown into a whole new world and a map drowning in dozens of icons and you don’t know what the heck any of them mean. Some are pretty straight forward and others could use an explanation or two. Some of these blips on the map can be extra money, street cred, or more.
