Years after its initial release on the Xbox 360, the cult-classic Deadly Premonition series returned to the public eye with a 2019 re-release and a sequel on the Nintendo Switch. However, the controversial survival horror game has made a surprising return to Microsoft’s consoles. Currently, the original Deadly Premonition is available on Xbox Live’s storefront. However, fans are wary of the game’s reappearance. Last month, Deadly Premonition suddenly reappeared in the Microsoft marketplace....

Over the last month it feels like Destiny has dominated the gaming news conversation, prompting discussions over everything from loot systems to Raid speed runs. But few of the recent Destiny news bits have explored the many secrets of Bungie’s game. We know they’re out there, but so far searches have only returned a handful of Easter Eggs. The most recent secret, however, might just be Destiny’s biggest. Not because of what it reveals about the game, but because of what it reveals about Bungie’s DLC plans....

Guardians in Activision and Bungie’s Destiny 2 have access to classes, skills, and weapons that diversify their combat options. The Traveler’s Light also provides enough flexibility for Guardians to defend their allies, strike from afar, or use a wide array of magical abilities. However, Guardians shouldn’t forget about their armor, which they can improve with relevant Armor Mods. In Destiny 2, Armor Mods serve as the best way to upgrade armor pieces and attach special qualities to them....

Once you’ve completed the Beyond Light campaign in Destiny 2, the Europa vendor Variks will begin offering a variety of new missions to complete and perks to unlock. While they may not seem like much now, Sabotage quests will be incredibly important for power progression and weapon farming in the weeks to come. What Are Sabotage Missions Once the quest Reclaiming Europa has been completed, players will have access to a group of missions from Variks called Sabotages....

Destiny 2: Forsaken might only be a few months old but it’s time for some changes. The Season of the Outlaw (the fourth season for Destiny 2) is coming to an end later this month, as confirmed by Bungie in its weekly blog post. Specifically, any Seasonal items players want to tick off their checklist must be completed by November 27th. For those that may not have been following closely, Bungie gave each of its four seasons for Destiny 2 Year 2 a different name....

Last year, Destiny 2 skipped the franchise’s annual Halloween event, Festival of the Lost, which is understandable since the game was only a month old at that point. However, Year 2 means big things for Destiny 2, including the return of Festival of the Lost, which now includes a spooky Haunted Forest mode for good measure. The Haunted Forest mode in Destiny 2 will go live in the game on October 16, when the Festival of the Lost begins....

Destiny 2 has added Truth, an Exotic Rocket Launcher, into the game right on schedule. Fans of the first game will recall that Truth was an exotic weapon from Destiny and that its perks look almost identical to what they were before. For the unfamiliar, the weapon excels in player-vs-player combat where its Exotic perk is Prototype Trueseeker, which make the rockets seek out its enemies. It also has both the Grenades and Horseshoes perk, meaning that detonation happens in close proximity to a target, allowing for imprecise shots to still work, and with three rounds of rockets like in the first game, you can be a bit more spammy, if you like....

The first major trailer for Destiny 2 is out now, teasing the launch of a full cinematic trailer on March 30. Don’t be fooled, though, because this “Last Call” teaser trailer may as well be a full trailer in its own right. Featuring Cayde-6, voiced by the fantastically talented Nathan Fillion, the Destiny 2 trailer confirms some of the rumored events tying Destiny into its sequel. It also teases so many more questions....

Another week in Destiny 2 brought new revelations for the popular live service title. While the news wasn’t quite as huge as fans have seen in in the previous couple of weeks, Bungie addressed some of the strange behaviors that have been occurring in Destiny 2 lately including the 12-man Raids. While this “feature” was never intended to be part of the game, Bungie is taking its time issuing a fix after seeing how much fun people are having....

Destiny 2 has temporarily disabled item transfer in all third party and Bungie applications. This means players that use a site like Destiny Item Manager or Ishtar Commander are unable to equip items directly from the app. Luckily, this does not affect item transfers, which would have made grabbing specific gear from characters or the vault a pain. All Destiny 2 players need to make sure they do is transfer the item to the desired character rather than attempt to transfer AND equip it....

Fan art has become so ubiquitous that in any corner of the Internet there will likely be fan art of a game. With fans more easily able to get their artwork out there, it means there is a greater chance that a piece of art can go viral. Such is the case with a piece of fan art of a Hunter from Destiny 2. While Destiny 2 has seen some impressive fan art over the years, this Hunter piece uses colored pencils only....

One of the recognizable faces at developer Bungie who worked as Raid Lead on Destiny 2 is moving to a new position at the developer to take on “broader challenges.” Joe Blackburn has become a common sight in Bungie’s ViDocs and live streams, during which he talks about the game’s pinnacle PvE activity, raids. While Blackburn headed up the raid team for Destiny 2, he announced on Twitter that he is moving away from that team as he has been promoted to a Design Lead at Bungie....

Destiny 2’s fall expansion is called Forsaken, and is confirmed to focus on the Reef, a location fans haven’t seen since Destiny 1. Developer Bungie is planning a reveal livestream tomorrow morning to pull back the curtain on some of the details about Forsaken, the week ahead of E3. The announcement for Destiny 2’s fall expansion and second year of content came via a very short teaser trailer tweeted out by Bungie and the official Destiny Twitter account....

Destiny 2’s forthcoming Solstice of Heroes event may be looking to end Year 2 with a bang, as the Shadowkeep expansion will officially begin Year 3 shortly after. It comes with a ton of new content for Guardians to explore, as the new Drained, Renewed, and Majestic armor will be the first set of armor capable of utilizing Shadowkeep’s Armor 2.0 system. More than that, though, the Eververse items for the event includes one of the best sparrows players have seen yet....

The second Faction Rally raged on this past week and for the first time ever in Destiny 2, it was the Future War Cult who came out victorious against previous winner Dead Orbit and New Monarchy. No doubt, the Sunshot exotic catalyst helped push players in this direction as the Graviton Lance catalyst did for Dead Orbit in round 1. This means that for the next week, Future War Cult pledges can pick up the legendary sidearm known as The Vision for only 1,000 glimmer, while everyone else has to spend 50,000....

Destiny 2 is going to make it easier for players to acquire some of its exotics next season. Developer Bungie announced a new update for Season 11 that will boost the drop chances for raid exotic weapons and items that might be a little too rare. The two rare raid exotics are the One Thousand Voices fusion rifle and the Anarchy grenade launcher, which drop from Last Wish and Scourge of the Past, respectively....
