After what felt like forever, Bungie finally granted players’ wishes by outfitting Xur with heavy ammo synthesis. For weeks/months, gamers had been hoping that Xur might finally give them something to spend their Strange Coins on, and finally the moment came last weekend. More importantly, the return of heavy ammo synthesis eased the pain of Destiny’s heavy ammo bug, which regularly aggravated players. This wasn’t a small issue that crept up partway through the game’s lifecycle either, but had been a huge problem since launch....

Sega is keeping the free updates for Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 rolling with a new DLC drop for Puyo Day. Celebrated on February 4 (2-4, which is read in Japanese as “Pu-Yo”), this year marks the 30th anniversary of the Puyo Puyo series and you’ll have the chance to commemorate the day with some free content. How fun! This maybe isn’t as extensive as the Sonic update a few weeks ago, but players will have access to four new characters with ties to Puyo’s past....

G2 Esports has confirmed the signing of FaZe Clan superstar Nikola “NiKo” Kovač to its CS:GO team. The Bosnian prodigy will join his cousin, Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač, on the multinational squad. NiKo will make his debut under the G2 banner next week in the BLAST Premier Fall Series. After making a name as the main carry on mousesports, NiKo signed with FaZe Clan in early 2017. A recent Game Informer article reveals that Cyberpunk 2077 features several notable sequences that may cause epileptic seizures and other health risks. The report comes from Game Informer editor Liana Ruppert who describes herself in the article as “someone that does have seizures myself due to an injury from my time when I was active duty.” She goes on to explain that her condition prohibits her from being able to play certain games and that she “suffered one major seizure” while playing Cyberpunk 2077....

Enterprising rules lawyers at Bell of Lost Souls have discovered an interesting dilemma regarding the physical damage resistances granted to werewolves under D&D 5th edition’s rules: they cannot be damaged by any type of physical attack (Slashing, Bludgeoning, or Piercing) unless it comes from a silvered weapon. Not only does that mean they can’t hurt each other, it also means physical fighters in the party aren’t likely to have any means of defending themselves, unless they’re expecting werewolves and packing silver weapons....

A new summertime event has kicked off in Dead by Daylight, one that will seem familiar to veteran players. The Scorching Summer BBQ event is now live, and runs through August 21, and will net Dead by Daylight players some summer-themed cosmetics in the process.
