After numerous teases, leaks, and even an official puzzle distributed to press by Activision, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time has finally been unveiled. A direct sequel to Naughty Dog’s universally acclaimed Crash Bandicoot trilogy that concluded in 1998, the title will supposedly be a major new reboot to the series that sees Crash, Coco, Cortex, and several other iconic characters taking part in a brand new adventure. The trailer showcases a number of new aspects to the game, including a variety of playable characters and a wholly original story, but it also seems as though the title will feature fresh abilities that Crash can wield....

Yacht Club Games has just released Cyber Shadow on all major platforms and the 2D action side-scroller draws inspiration from old-school titles like Ninja Gaiden, Mega Man, and Metroid, and successfully mashes it all up into one thrilling yet challenging experience. While the game was published by Yacht Club, it was actually developed by one person named Aarne Hunziker, who makes up Mechanical Head Studios. While a majority of the 10-hour or so adventure revolves around gameplay, there are some story moments throw in there occasionally to really draw in players into Cyber Shadow’s universe and characters....

Hotfix 1.22 is now available for Cyberpunk 2077 on all platforms. CD Projekt Red said the update will further improve stability and overall performance, while also cleaning up the most frequently reported issues since the last major patch. Cyberpunk 2077 saw the arrival of Patch 1.2 at the end of March, bringing with it sweeping changes to the world of Night City. This action-adventure survival game takes place in–you guessed it–a post-apocalyptic open world swarming with “Freakers”. An open world means there will be a lot of land to cover. When it was announced back in March that Free Guy and The Adam Project director Shawn Levy would reteam with Ryan Reynolds for Deadpool 3—a “gee, what a surprise” moment if there ever was one—there was another, less splashy but still significant piece of news attached. As revealed by THR, screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick were jumping on board the Merc with a Mouth’s threequel as well. Reese and Wernick co-wrote the first two Deadpool movies (and were attached to the first film throughout most of its decade-long development), as well as pictures like Zombieland and its sequel....

The big narrative talking point from the Destiny 2 Forsaken expansion DLC is that it kills off Cayde-6. The NPC, who is voiced by Nathan Fillion, gave the game a comedic edge with his wisecracks, quips, and the love for his pet chicken. As such, fans were understandably upset to know that the character would become a goner. Destiny 2 developer Bungie knows this too, which is why it has made efforts to send Cayde-6 off the right way....

Solstice of Heroes returns to Destiny 2 on August 11. Since the seasonal event once again revolves around completing the European Aerial Zone activity, players who want to maximize their gains should come in prepared. The European Aerial Zone was featured in last year’s event too. If the EAZ’s mechanics, spawn points, and modifiers have stayed the same, players can reliably look back on Destiny 2’s last Solstice to prepare themselves for this iteration of the event....

With the release of Destiny 2 on PC, a dataminer has searched the game’s files and dug up a collection of audio files, some of which appear to hint at the return of the Warlock Osiris to the Tower as an NPC. This all seems to align with the game’s first expansion, titled Curse of Osiris. It’s safe to assume that Osiris will play a key role in Destiny 2’s first major piece of DLC....

Bungie’s latest in-game Destiny 2 celebration called The Revelry is in full swing, combining elements from The Dawning and Festival of the Lost wrapping them in a spring season look and feel. Players, whether free or annual pass owners, can take part by completing bounties, earning triumphs, fighting through the Verdant Forest PvE mode, and getting empowered by using Reveler’s Tonic. Alongside the new Kinetic Linear Fusion Rifle called Arbalest, Xur has returned with his usual assortment of exotics and weekly Invitations of the Nine quest to potentially throw a monkey wrench into the already chaotic Revelry content....
