CD Projekt RED responds to calls from the community for Cyberpunk 2077 to get an official cookbook. Games like Bungie’s sci-fi RPG Destiny have gotten a cookbook, so it wouldn’t be such a huge surprise to see Cyberpunk 2077 get a book of recipes of its own. Cyberpunk 2077 Senior Level Designer Miles Tost has taken part in a community question and answer session on the game’s Discord server. While fans had a huge number of questions, with many asking about Cyberpunk 2077’s genital customization feature, some also wanted to know about official merch plans for the game....

Cyberpunk 2077 has made its return to the PlayStation Store, but perhaps it’s not quite the smooth transition back into your library that you’d hope for. While it looks like Cyberpunk runs at 30 fps, players are reporting that the world has been stripped down. Just a few days ago, CDPR released its newest patch for Cyberpunk, version 1.23, across all platforms. We then saw the game finally reappear in the PS Store six months after its removal from Sony’s platform, but it came packaged with a warning not to play it on the base version of a PS4....

It’s not uncommon for game development studios to undergo staff changes over the course of a title’s development, especially since many of today’s modern games take several years to produce. However, CD Projekt Red found itself in the center of the proverbial rumor mill after Cyberpunk 2077 lead level designer Mateusz Piaskiewicz, senior gameplay producer Derek Patterson, and project manager Ovidiu Traian Vasilescu all departed from the company within the last two months....

Despite being announced years ago, there is still a lot we don’t know about CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077. That will change later this year, as the company will showcase Cyberpunk 2077 “just before” E3, according to president Adam Kicinski at a recent financial presentation. Kicinski wanted to avoid discussing Cyberpunk 2077 before its proper reveal later this year, but he did let a few details slip. According to Kicinski, Cyberpunk 2077 will allow players to choose between different classes and create their own character....

Over the last few weeks, Epic Games has been amassing a small library of upcoming titles that will become exclusive digital partners for its new PC store. Games like Metro Exodus and The Division 2 have partnered up with the Epic Games Store and in turn, will be skipping out on a Steam release for PC. However, at least one upcoming release will not be signing any such deal: Cyberpunk 2077....

The battle royal wars have claimed another victim, it seems, as indie game Darwin Project’s development is ceasing. Scavengers Studios announced today that Darwin Project’s “decreasing playerbase” over the past few years means it can no longer sustain itself. Darwin Project’s servers will remain up through the rest of 2020. Don’t let Darwin Project’s official release date of January 2020 fool you. Darwin Project has been available in Early Access since March 2018....

Dead by Daylight’s one of gaming’s most surprising success stories of the past several years. The asymmetric multiplayer horror game continues to receive routine updates adding new Killers and Survivors to play as, plus more. Behaviour Interactive continues to show that Dead by Daylight has no intention of slowing, either. On Friday, Behavior dropped an announcement regarding Dead by Daylight’s upcoming Chapter 16 DLC. Chapter 16 is especially notable because it will feature yet another iconic horror franchise....

As a casual Dungeons & Dragons player (and DM), one of, if not the most difficult thing about playing is getting my group together at a date and time that works for everyone. We’re all 35-plus-years-old, and all of us have kids (excluding my two teenage nephews who are part of the group). Obviously, the pandemic made getting together impossible, meaning we haven’t actually played our campaign – we’re currently playing through the Curse of Strahd module – in well over a year....

Among the improvements being made in the Demon’s Souls remake is brand new audio including a re-recorded soundtrack and new voice lines. Those voice lines will be entirely new for the Japanese version of Demon’s Souls as the original game only had English voicework. As you’d expect from one of the very few PS5 launch titles, Sony spared no expense in hiring their Demon’s Souls voice actors. Most of them are industry veterans that have played important roles in some of the biggest games and animes around like Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist....

Destiny got a new trailer today, teasing the new armor, weapons, and ornaments coming in the game’s next live event, Age of Triumph. All this gear will get ample reveal time on the next Age of Triumph stream this Wednesday, but fans can catch some glimpses of the new gear which includes some from the refreshed raids. Destiny’s developer, Bungie, has said the new armor and ornaments in Age of Triumph could be the very best that has ever come to the game, and from this quick teaser, that could be right....

Destiny’s Community Manager DeeJ drops by with another Bungie Weekly Update, revealing that PvP players might be in for a treat once Trials of Osiris returns. The post, which details the return of Trials of Osiris alongside some other updates, seems to indicate that the long-time PvP favorite will offer Guardians a much better loot pool this time around. Destiny Senior Designer Derek Carroll had this to say on what players can look forward to:...

Nightmare hunts were added to Destiny 2 as a part of the Shadowkeep expansion. Guardians can unlock the hunts by completing all of the Shadowkeep campaign missions. Once unlocked, players can choose from three different hunts per week. There are a total of eight nightmare hunts, which are rotated every week. Similar to strikes, nightmare hunts are relatively short activities that end in a boss fight. Each boss has a chance to drop one of the essence quests or legendary gear, which is explained in more detail below....

The newest raid for Destiny 2, Deep Stone Crypt, is here and while hardcore players are still trying to make their way through the various encounters, others have already found some secrets. Specifically, the first hidden chest has been found and it’s relatively easy to open. Some might even be able to do it solo, either right now or after the Contest modifier has been deactivated. How to Beat the First Raid Encounter The first “encounter” of Deep Stone Crypt involves the fireteam moving through a blizzard on their Sparrows or Fallen Pikes, all while avoiding spider mines and enemies....

The Last Wish raid is live for all Destiny 2: Forsaken owners and thus far the endgame encounter has proved quite challenging. Most players that are actually progressing are above the 540 power level threshold and even those instances are rare. For some, the raid is going to have to wait a week (or several) before an earnest attempt is possible. However, those that can complete the first encounter in the raid are encouraged to do so, as we now know it offers the third Seed of Light for players’ subclass tree....

In an effort to give PvE players a better overall experience, Destiny 2 is lowering its inactivity requirement before kicking players to orbit. Now, players that sit idle in a Strike playlist for 3 minutes will be removed from the activity and replaced by an active player. On the one hand, this sounds like a positive change for Destiny 2’s Strike playlist, as it will alleviate the burden of having to “carry” inactive players through the PvE encounters....

Bungie hasn’t been shy when it comes to talking about its upcoming Destiny 2 expansion known as Forsaken. While the company has been known to become too tight-lipped leading up to big releases in years past, it seems that fans are learning new things about Forsaken almost on a weekly basis. A lot of the smaller details have come via the game’s community managers over the past couple of weeks, including a small piece of news regarding planned changes to Heroic Strikes....

With the coronavirus pandemic having shut down public gatherings, movie theater chains like AMC have filed for bankruptcy and distributors have pivoted to streaming and video on demand. Thus is the case for Capone, a film about American gangster Al Capone starring Tom Hardy that had its official trailer released by Vertical Entertainment Thursday. The film, written and directed by Josh Trank of Chronicle (2012) fame and Fantastic Four (2015) infamy, focuses on “the untold story” of Capone later in his life....

From now until December, we can expect every detail from the Spider-Man: No Way Home set to be scrutinized by fans. Anticipating the debut of the Spider-Verse in live-action, no stone will be left unturned. But for now, some fresh behind-the-scenes shots have given us a closer look at Spidey’s new suit. One Spider-Man fan account shared three images showing Peter Parker’s slick, new suit in close up, particularly focusing on the white spider symbol on the back....

Former Florida Mutineers star Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson has found himself a new home as the Chicago Huntsmen announced him as the newest addition to the team. It’s a great move for all involved as Florida moved away from playing Prestinni at the beginning of March and the Huntsmen have somewhat struggled recently to adjust to the online format the Call of Duty League had to switch to. Prestinni started out strong for the Florida Mutineers this season, but took himself out of the starting lineup ahead of the Los Angeles weekend in early March due to personal reasons....

You probably know Chucklefish as the indie publisher that helped bring Stardew Valley to the world, and Stardew is undoubtedly their biggest success story, but it’s not their only one. Starbound, Wargroove, Witchbrook, and Inmost are all fantastic games in their respective genres, and now Chucklefish is getting into the sim genre with Starmancer. In Starmancer, you play as a space station AI with total control over everything you survey. The game plays out a bit like The Sims, only your little human lab rats are way easier to kill....
