There’s no secret to the high ambitions developer CD Projekt Red has for its upcoming release, Cyberpunk 2077. Since the game’s announcement back in 2013, fans have been left to wonder how complex of an experience it will be. At the very least, many got a better idea about its tone when Cyberpunk 2077 was finally shown off during Microsoft’s E3 2018 Press Conference. While the news showed signs of substantial progress on the project, it seems as if CD Projekt Red has no intentions on rushing the game out prematurely....
The Teen Titans cartoon did some amazing things. It brought some layered but fun storytelling to Cartoon Network, a network mostly known for silliness. It introduced a lot of kids to DC comics, and reignited DC love for many fans were feeling empty after Batman: The Animated Series went away. Wrestling games are often ridiculed by non-fans for the fact that they exist in a weird spot between two universes. Wrestling is obviously a scripted event treated as legitimate to enhance the entertainment factor, but the games themselves omit the spectacle aspect to treat the whole thing as a simulation of a real fight. Mythic Games has announced a new tabletop board game based on indie studio Red Hook Studios’ roguelike, Darkest Dungeon. The announcement was made during The Dice Towers Board Game Breakfast Live Summer Spectacular. Darkest Dungeon was released in 2017 and was an instant success, far exceeding Red Hook Studios’ expectations. A sequel is in the works, but no release date has been given. Frustrating as it can be at times, it is refreshing to see studios holding back and releasing ‘when it’s ready’ rather than sacrificing quality and holding to an unreasonable deadline....

Developer Behaviour Interactive has released a new trailer focused on its new Dead by Daylight killer, The Ghost Face. Based on the killer from the Scream movies, The Ghost Face brings some new abilities to the table that focus on the idea of stalking the survivors. Dead by Daylight will try to recreate the feeling of Ghost Face in the Scream films through his Night Shroud power. When this power is active, the killer can essentially stalk its victims by emitting little to no red “vision cone” or terror radius....
We may only be a few weeks into the latest Destiny quest to obtain the Crux of Crota and the Necrochasm, but even so players are already looking to the future. More specifically, players are curious to know what Bungie has in store for Destiny with its final DLC package, House of Wolves. So far, we have heard random rumblings about the game’s selection, which is said to include a new raid, level cap, story missions, crucible maps, and gear, but most of that information is unconfirmed....
With the hype train moving full steam ahead, Bungie has been giving fans awaiting the release of Destiny: The Taken King tons of new information about the upcoming expansion to get excited about. Today, on the official Destiny Instagram account, much to the delight of would-be Guardians, Xur revealed some exotic armor and weapons that will be available next month. Plus, over the weekend, Bungie and Red Bull teamed up to host a live broadcast event that featured the action-RPG’s top players taking each other on in Rift – a new multiplayer mode for the game....
Most Destiny 2 players expected it, but this week Bungie confirmed that there is a new raid on the way to its first-person shooter. While the studio did not say when players can expect to see the new endgame content, it’s most likely that the new raid will arrive with the Year 4 expansion this fall. In this week’s Bungie post, the studio discussed rewards in Destiny 2 and how it plans to make the experience of completing activities better....
Destiny 2 will handle recoil differently on PC than the console versions, Bungie confirms. Many PC gamers were delighted when Destiny 2 was announced for their platform, but now some are concerned that the game will offer a much different gameplay experience. In an interview published this week, Destiny 2 project lead Mark Noseworthy revealed that the PC version of the game has “no recoil.” Noseworthy explained that “With a mouse and keyboard, you don’t want the mouse moving without you moving it” as that doesn’t feel good....

Clea 2 is a survival horror game developed by InvertMouse and published by Sekai games. It is a sequel to the original Clea, which was released back in 2019. The gameplay between Clea and Clea 2 is almost exactly the same, but Clea 2 corrects several of the problems with the original Clea— though not all of them. Overall, the game accomplishes more with its sequel than its original, so Clea 2 was mostly an enjoyable experience....
Video game publisher Kalypso Media Group recently announced a December 4, 2020 release date for its World War II RTS Commandos 2 - HD Remaster on the Nintendo Switch. The game’s placeholder page is already live over on the Nintendo webstore, which shows the game priced at $29.99. Commandos 2 - HD Remaster was developed by Yippee! Entertainment, acquired by Team 17 (the company behind The Survivalists and Overcooked! All You Can Eat) in January 2020....

The most memorable part of Cyberpunk 2077 is Night City, and that’s nowhere close to a controversial take. The city is alive with bustling pedestrians, each bursting with color and movement. Cars are getting into accidents, stores are being robbed, businesses are completing transactions, even if you’re not there to see it all. Still, part of the charm of such a city is the ambiguousness, the everyday paradox that pops up here and there....
