The series classic MP5 submachine gun is finally available in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. This is the very first time that the weapon has been available in Counter-Strike: GO, and it came to the game via a minor update applied earlier in the week. According to Valve, the weapon has been added as an alternative to the MP7. The gun’s official designation in Counter-Strike: GO is the “MP5-SD.” Its notable features include an integrated silencer and increased movement speed....

Creepshow Season 2 is moving ahead with production after a COVID-caused delay froze progress back in March. Shudder, the horror-centric premium streaming service offshoot of cable channel AMC, has announced that the Atlanta, Georgia production of Creepshow has commenced, putting the show’s second season—ordered this past October—back on track for its 2021 release window. With cameras now rolling, the cast for the second season has been revealed, featuring names such as the Pitch Perfect film franchise’s Anna Camp, AMC’s The Walking Dead regular Josh McDermitt, The Mindy Project’s Adam Pally, Hellraiser film franchise star Ashley Laurence and the venerable star of genre classics The Thing and They Live, Keith David....

Loba’s upcoming P2020 skin might be available during Apex Legends’ summer sale, according to dataminers. Although Loba can arm herself with whatever she finds in Apex Legends, her signature weapon is actually a humble P2020 pistol. You can spot her make use of it in the Season 5 launch trailer when she aims it at Revenant and fails to put a bullet between his eyes (she’s also no fool, and uses her ultimate ability to arm herself with an R-301 to take on attacking robots immediately afterward)....

Of all the live service games out there right now, Destiny 2 is perhaps the most mixed for players. For every new and exciting feature or weapon in Destiny 2, there’s a disappointing change made to hand cannons. To be fair, this is to be expected for any game that has endured as long as Destiny 2 has with its model. New content must come quickly, with devs working hard to keep players engaged....

After all sorts of speculation, Bungie held its much-anticipated livestream earlier today to finally show off what it has planned for Destiny 2’s second year. After numerous teases including a very short teaser clip which revealed the upcoming expansion’s name as Forsaken, Bungie confirmed that the Awoken will play a big part in this upcoming expansion. The accompanying ViDoc gave a general overview of Destiny 2: Forsaken including how the expansion changes the game....

Even though Destiny 2 has ditched the random perk rolls for its gear, Bungie has ensured that many of the new weapons and armor are still worth hunting down and equipping. Whether it’s the unique designs of exotic weapons such as the Rat King or the valuable benefits of a gun like Sunshot, there seems to always be something around the corner for players to discover. Through a special quest line in called Relics of the Golden Age, players can earn a couple of weapons, which feature a unique trait that provides a benefit to players when both are equipped at the same time....

As was the case with the first game, Destiny 2 is sure to have a fair share of weapon perks over which players will judge the fate of a new weapon that has dropped into their inventory. Looking over a vast collection of weapons from Destiny 2 that have been shown off so far, there are some old favorites making a return, but there are plenty of perks that fans have never experienced on a weapon in the game before....

Destiny 2 Season 13, called Season of the Chosen, is now officially unveiled and there’s lots to dig into. As Season of the Hunt comes to a close, the Hive retreat and the Cabal step forward for peaceful, and not so peaceful, negotiations. Players will be engaging with the new royal Cabal forces under Caiatl’s command for the next 3 months, so here is the content calendar for specific dates....
