Destiny 2’s Forsaken expansion is giving gamers new ways to play their chosen subclasses with all new abilities and subclass trees. However, some fans have been wondering if the original Destiny 2 subclass trees will be getting a design pass ahead of Forsaken to make sure they don’t get overshadowed by the new supers. This week, Bungie Senior Sandbox Designer Claude Jerome confirmed that Void Titan’s Ward of Dawn will be buffed, but made no comment on any of the other supers....

Destiny 2 has launched for half the world, with more territories hitting their midnight launch in the coming hours. Alongside the launch of developer Bungie’s sequel to their hit sci-fi looter shooter, the official soundtrack for the game has also been released. The Destiny 2 soundtrack features over two and a half hours of music across 44 tracks. The music was composed by Bungie and Destiny veterans Michael Salvatore, Skye Lewin, and C Paul Johnson along with Rotem Moav and Pieter Schlosser....

A few months ago, a Destiny 2 player was able to defeat Riven, the final boss in the Last Wish raid, solo. The feat was accomplished during this past spring’s Revelry live event that brought with it a Tonic consumable that boosted players’ ability recharge rates. While there were complaints at the time of the Tonic ruining PvP, it allowed for some incredible accomplishments including soloing the Riven fight. But The Revelry and its Tonics are long gone; however, another Destiny 2 player has also been able to defeat Riven using a different method....

It won’t be too much longer before Destiny 2 fans will be able to take on the science fiction shooter’s forthcoming raid, Scourge of the Past, with the content set to be included soon by way of the game’s Black Armory DLC. Now, Bungie has decided to give players a taste of the action to come by releasing an official teaser trailer for the endgame activity, which will invite Guardians to once again to “become legend”....

The ability to acquire Destiny 2’s pinnacle weapons for this Season 6 has been temporarily disabled after players found an exploit in the game’s newest update. After Update 2.2.1 went live on Tuesday, April 9th, it did not take long for players to discover a new path to the highly sought-after Enhancement Cores. Almost as quickly, developer Bungie turned off the pinnacle weapons at their respective vendors to keep players from amassing Enhancement Cores, which have been tightly controlled to add value to the game’s Infusion system....

Destiny: The Taken King is bringing a great deal of well-documented changes when the expansion releases in four days. Frankly, given the sheer volume of new content that the DLC is bringing Guardians, it can be kind of overwhelming to keep up. Between new patrols that add a king of Sparrow racing and the possibility of class-exclusive exotic weapons, it’s easy to wonder how players will find the time to interact with each new feature upon The Taken King’s launch....

To say that Capcom has been getting some bad press lately is like saying the Titanic was a bit of a bumpy ride. With everything that’s been happening lately - the most recent event being the glitch that completely breaks Street Fighter X Tekken - it has to be asked: how can Capcom turn it around? Capcom has revealed that they will be releasing patches for not only Street Fighter X Tekken but also for Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition in just a few days - for the PC versions only....

Several weeks ago, the video game publisher and developer Capcom revealed its intentions to create even more remakes of its properties after the forthcoming multi-platform release of the new Resident Evil 2. Now, it looks as if the third entry in the long-running survival-horror franchise could eventually see its own updated version come to be in the future, as the company recently talked about the possibility of the original 1999 PlayStation game getting a remake, too....

The early years of the classic real-time strategy series can finally be played in glorious 4K resolution now that Command & Conquer: Remastered has finally been released on Steam. The game, which went live on Friday morning, includes the full releases of Command & Conquer and Command & Conquer: Red Alert, along with all the expansion packs for both titles. The remaster is still in 2D, but it includes a heavily-increased resolution for both the gameplay and its revolutionary (for the time) use of FMV for its between-mission cutscenes....

The next big Nintendo Switch release, Pikmin 3 Deluxe, is set to arrive on October 30. Franchise fans have probably already played through the demo in its entirety, but… well, actually, it seems that they haven’t. Unbeknownst to Nintendo, a glitch in the demo allows players to reach an area that they really shouldn’t be able to. So, what to make of Nintendo’s 2020? On the one hand, as reported back in August, the company’s profits increased by 500% as a result of burgeoning sales (well, everyone needs something to play during lockdown)....

Clues found within Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time’s source code suggest that a Switch port for the game is already well underway. Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time released on PS4 and Xbox One earlier this month, throwing a wrench in the Crash timeline upon arrival. The game follows on from Crash Bandicoot: Warped, the third game in the series released on PS1. It ignores everything else that has come since, starting a completely different Crash timeline, hence the game’s name....

Earlier today, Nintendo surprised its fans with the announcement that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy would be coming to the Nintendo Switch on July 10. Those without a PS4 or Nintendo Switch shouldn’t worry, though, because the remastered versions of all three original Crash Bandicoot adventures will also be making their way to PC and Xbox One on the same day. The announcement that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is also coming to PC and Xbox One was made by the official Crash Bandicoot Twitter account not long after the end of the Nintendo Direct presentation....

Whether it’s building a massive structure or just trying to collect resources to survive, players are free to do anything they want in the sandbox sensation known as Minecraft. But, for people that want a little more structure and don’t want to have to create their own fun, there are a lot of unique seeds and pre-made game maps that can be loaded into the game to play through for a totally different experience....

It might not be registered as a looter-shooter but Cyberpunk 2077 will get to feeling like Borderlands quickly without the proper inventory management. Characters in the game will give V a weapon to help complete a mission, then V will do the mission and get a whole bunch more weapons off of the enemies, and then the reward for the mission will be another weapon. In Night City, a seemingly endless metropolis of weapons, players are going to have to make thousands of choices about which ones deserve a spot in their equipment slot and which ones to sell or break into parts....

A Reddit user has discovered a secret weapon that Cyberpunk 2077 character Evelyn Parker may be hiding in plain sight. The aspiring actress promises to be a lethal weapon on the streets of Night City, one that protagonist V will want on their side. Redditor ‘huanovec’ made a discovery about Doll House worker Evelyn Parker, who appears to disguise harmful cyberware as fingertip jewelry. After coming across a description of carbo-glas claws called Rippers, the Redditor made a quick comparison to Parker’s fingertips that are covered by metal sheaths....

Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that many in the gaming community have been looking forward to for a very long time. Initially announced in 2012 and then finally revealed during E3 2018, for some fans, it’s almost surreal knowing that the game is so close to finally releasing. Now, it seems that Cyberpunk 2077 could potentially have yet another surprise in store for players. Over the last couple of years, a number of surprise cameos and character portrayals for Cyberpunk 2077 have been unveiled, with perhaps the biggest one being Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand....

Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red does not currently have plans to add mod support to its upcoming game but is not ruling out the possibility. Somewhere down the line, the developer may eventually add mod support like it did with The Witcher 3, but CDPR also wants to keep expectations realistic for the release of Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt Red’s global community lead Marcin Momot took to a forum thread to clarify the studio’s approach to Cyberpunk 2077 mod support....
