Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red has confirmed that while multiplayer may release in the future, they have not yet even begun working on the mode and are instead 100% devoted to preparing the single-player experience for launch. Lead quest designer Paweł Sasko recently sat down for an interview with Tom Phillips at Euro Gamer to discuss that and other burning questions in the development of the game. While there were some great presentations at E3, Cyberpunk 2077 may have been the most notable of all with an engaging new trailer, and the surprise inclusion of Keanu Reeves both in the game and one of the most wholesome presenters to likely ever appear at the event....

Cyberpunk 2077, the biggest cautionary tale in modern gaming, is officially back on the PS Store. It kind of feels like that Spongebob meme - you know, that one and only meme from Spongebob - where some guy finds Patrick’s wallet, only Patrick insists it’s not his. CD Projeckt Red has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will not have a morality system in place, as opposed to the games from The Witcher series. Morality systems were quite common in video games back in the day but they’ve since gone out of style due to the way in which they affect stories. The Witcher, though, did employ such a system in which players were made to choose whether Geralt takes the moral path or adheres to the neutrality Witchers are taught....

DC Universe Online – an aging MMO first launched in 2011 – is still alive and well on PS4, with a PS5 releasing happening later this year. Before that, however, DCUO is getting a massive new expansion on April 15 that draws inspiration from DC’s Flashpoint storyline. World of Flashpoint is scheduled to arrive as a free update on both PlayStation and PC later this month. “The next episode for DC Universe Online is World of Flashpoint, launching April 15, 2021,” said Ted Stone, senior community manager at Dimensional Ink Games....

Over the last week, fans of Demon’s Souls have been hard at work trying to solve the mystery behind a hidden locked door added in the game’s PlayStation 5 remake. Appearing in World 1-3, the mysterious door was obscured by a fake wall, with the game’s community coming together to figure out a way to unlock it. As of today, the door has finally been opened, with Twitch streamer and Souls speedrunner Distortion2 being the one credited with finally unlocking the mysterious entrance and gaining access to the secrets inside....

The launch of Destiny 2’s Forsaken expansion is just days away, and developer Bungie is offering a warning about infusing new higher level gear into old Year 1 weapons and armor. Remember, Bungie is allowing all the weapons and armor from Year 1 to carry over into this expansion and the game’s second year with the ability to infuse it bringing it up to new power levels. When Forsaken launches on September 4, Destiny 2 players will be able to start taking their level beyond the current cap....

After learning of the numerous features that are going to be implemented in Destiny 2 by way of the forthcoming sequel’s first gameplay reveal stream, many fans have agreed that one of the most significant, albeit smaller changes that will be in the game is the fact that Guardians will no longer be required to go into orbit in order to switch activities. This means that the amount of loading time players will have to experience while waiting to move on to their next challenge will greatly reduced....

Raid teams looking for another challenge in Destiny 2’s Leviathan raid won’t want to miss the launch of the first raid challenge mode, going live on October 31 at 10 a.m. PDT. The first encounter to receive a challenge mode will be the Royal Pools, commonly referred to by fans as Baths. Bungie has revealed the long awaited fall expansion for Destiny 2, called Beyond Light.
