That’s why it’s created a cable that will allow you to charge your smartwatch from your phone. The Power Sharing Cable plugs in the micro-USB port of a phone at one end and the watch’s adapter block at the other end. While this will allow you to pump juice into your wrist wear from your phone it will mean carrying a cable and the charging dock for the wearable....

A YouTuber has used PS4 exclusive game Dreams to show what CD Projekt RED’s sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077 would look like as a PlayStation One game. The video takes the footage from the first Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay trailer from Gamescom 2018 and the E3 2019 trailer to give fans an idea of how the game may look if it was released 20 years ago. The video has been created by Bearly Regal, the same YouTuber who showed what Death Stranding could look like as a PS1 game....

Few games have had quite the impact on the video game industry as Dark Souls has. Love them or hate them, From Software’s titular franchise has left an indelible mark, one that has changed the landscape forever and inspired an entire genre: the Souls-like. Behaviour Interactive’s online horror title Dead by Daylight has just been announced to be coming to the Google Stadia, with two exclusive features included. Dead by Daylight was just announced as part of today’s Stadia Connect event. The two new features that will be in included in the Stadia version of the game are new Crowd Play and Crowd Choice modes. Crowd Choice allows for viewers to influence their favorite YouTuber’s matches, allowing them to vote for the influencer to either play as a killer or survivor, and then vote to decide which character they will get to play as in the match....

NetEase’s asymmetrical multiplayer game, Identity V, is collaborating with Death Note to offer a massive cross-over event from May 27 to June 24. Clues hinting at the event have been scattered throughout Identity V for a while, but today marks its official reveal. Details about the upcoming event are scarce, although it sounds like several exclusive cross-over rewards will be made available to all players. There’s also a QR code you can scan to earn some in-game Crossover Essence....

Despite dispatching a group of skeleton soldiers wielding automatic weapons to do his bidding in the Death Stranding trailer featuring film director Guillermo del Toro and actor Mads Mikkelsen, the Danish thespian has now insisted that his character is not intrinsically a villain. Mikkelsen revealed as much while addressing a packed out crowd during a question and answer session at this year’s Saudi Arabia Comic-Con. As seen in the video below, a fan provides a preamble to his question about what Mads Mikkelsen’s feelings are in regards to video games being the new frontier in storytelling, by saying that he “thinks” that the actor could be Death Stranding’s villain....

It’s a big week for Destiny players, as Bungie finally unleashed the second major expansion for their MMO-FPS hybrid. Dubbed the House of Wolves, this latest DLC add-on features the usual bevy of content, both cooperative and competitive. Chief among the new Destiny cooperative experiences is the Prison of Elders, a combat arena style horde mode that pits teams of three against waves of enemies. In essence, Prison of Elders is Destiny’s answer to Bungie fans’ requests for a Firefight equivalent in the game....

As both Bungie and the Destiny 2 gaming community prepare for the Beyond Light expansion to release in November, Bungie will be retiring some items into the DCV, or Destiny Content Vault. Players don’t need to say goodbye to these items completely, as the DCV is a for temporary content cycling, but this will be the last players see of certain items for a while, and even if they return their release will probably be limited....

During this week’s Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris livestream, Bungie gave fans their first look at some of the new activities coming with the DLC expansion. Specifically, the devs showed off a new Public Event type in the Infinite Forest as well as a new Adventure. While Adventures seemed like a good addition to the Destiny 2 grind, the rewards tied to those side quests never felt worth the effort. Sure, players could get a little extra lore from completing Adventures, including references to the Emperor before the Leviathan Raid launched, but they never truly felt worth doing....

There’s a lot of useless stuff in Destiny 2–items that the developers intended as a one-time-use thing or just to get a neat bit of story out there into the world. In some cases, Bungie never made it clear what the purpose of the item actually was, so Guardians have just kept it in their vault in the hopes that someday it’ll become something valuable. That’s not the Expired Spicy Ramen Coupon, an item that was given away in the days before Forsaken arrived in 2018....

Bungie has released its latest This Week At Bungie blog post, and it looks like the developer has some big plans coming up for the next few seasons of Destiny 2. Most notably within the sneak peak ahead is the way that legendary gear infusion will work in order to better control the cycling of powerful gear and builds as new weapons and perks evolve with the game from season to season....

The announcement that Destiny 2 would be coming to the Xbox Game Pass, for both Xbox One and PC, was a big surprise for the Xbox Games Showcase. Most impressively about the latest addition to the game subscription service is the fact that players will be able to access all of the currently available expansions with the subscription. This could be big news for the Xbox Game Pass, as more live service games may follow Bungie’s example allowing access to expansions through a separate, paid subscription....

The Destiny 2 Revelry event is now live, and many players are certain to be currently spending time clearing through its new content and collecting its new loot. Indeed, the initial reaction to the Destiny 2 Verdant Forest has been generally positive.
