Without E3 to highlight and broadcast games this year, companies and studios have moved to a digital format to show fans the various things they’ve been working on. Thankfully, this has allowed new reveals to be spread out over time rather than crammed into 5 days as fans would normally get at E3. Earlier today, CD Projekt RED took to Twitch to showcase all sorts of new information about its highly anticipated open world RPG, Cyberpunk 2077....

One Cyberpunk 2077 player figured out how to access V’s mansion early on in the game with all of the same weapons and items inside, though it should only be accessible in late-game content. However, it takes some maneuvering to get to. Cyberpunk 2077 now has a strong reputation for being buggy, to the point where some players and critics feel CD Projekt Red released an unfinished game. Though CDPR is working to patch out all glitches and major issues, Cyberpunk players are still having fun exploiting some areas of the game....

The Dallas Fuel attempting to secure every single Element Mystic player from Overwatch history continues after they announced the addition of Seung-soo “Jecse” Lee following his release from the Houston Outlaws. Hyperbole aside, the only player signed to Dallas who never played for Element Mystic is Joon “Fielder” Kwon previously from the Paris Eternal. One or two more pieces and the Dallas Fuel have a scary team heading into the 2021 season of the Overwatch League....

Showcase is likely the series that comes to mind when one thinks of Silver Age DC Comics anthologies, but The Brave and the Bold may have an even greater legacy. Sure, the former introduced some of the most important Silver Age heroes, including Barry Allen as the Flash and Hal Jordan as Green Lantern. But The Brave and the Bold changed comics forever with the introduction of the Justice League of America in its 28th issue....

The long-suffering zombie action Dead Island 2 is still alive and coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, skipping both PS4 and Xbox One, for better or for worse. That’s according to the recent list of vacancies from Dambuster Studios, the current developers of Dead Island 2. Originally announced in 2014, Dead Island 2 was positioned as a project for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. In 2020, fans found an indirect confirmation that the game will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as well, as was indicated on Dambuster Studios` website....

The Austrian company Denuvo Software Solutions GmbH issues a response to gamers cracking the PC version of Capcom’s survival-horror title Resident Evil 7. For those unaware, not long after the launch of Resident Evil 7, the Denuvo anti-piracy software put in place for the game’s PC version was undermined in less than a week – five days to be exact – which has caused many to wonder if the Austrian company’s Anti-Tamper technology is still all its cracked up to be....

Dubbed Rise of Iron, this kickoff DLC for Year 3 will see Destiny players aligning with Lord Saladin, the last of the Iron Lords, to take down a mounting Fallen threat....

Destiny 2 may have been on a path of struggles since it launched in September 2017, but developer Bungie is currently prepping to launch its second DLC expansion of Destiny 2’s Year 1. It was recently revealed that the expansion is titled Warmind and will be released in May, and on April 24th Bungie will show off the DLC in a livestream. But even though there is still plenty of mystery surrounding Warmind, there are some things that we know about the Destiny 2 DLC....

While Destiny 2 might look and play a lot like the first Destiny, there are numerous details, features, and systems that did not carry over from the original game to its sequel. And as has been previously detailed, developer Bungie is looking to help bridge the gap between those games – aka make Destiny 2 feel more like Destiny 1 – in an effort to bring players back into the fold....

Following Destiny 2’s launch back in September 2017, Bungie caught a lot of flak from fans when it chose to implement a content lockout for Iron Banner and Faction Rallies if players lacked the game’s Curse of Osiris DLC. Now, however, it seems as if the activities are open to all Guardians once more thanks to the recent release of the science fiction shooter’s latest patch, Hotfix 1.1.1.2. Rather than use the Hotfix to address any bugs or exploits, the latest update for Destiny 2 deals exclusively with Bungie’s prior decision to bar those who didn’t purchase Curse of Osiris from playing the content they previously had access to....

Following a positive reception from the community during Season 11, Destiny 2 will be bringing back the Umbral Engram concept for Season 13. Developer Bungie confirmed the news during its This Week at Bungie blog post, with further explanations of how the loot focusing concept will change starting this February. Umbral Engrams were first introduced in Destiny 2’s Season of Arrivals as a seasonal, randomized loot drop. If players decrypt an Umbral Engram they could receive any item from within the Season 11 loot pool, like the Gnawing Hunger auto rifle or the Falling Guillotine sword....

Since its release back in 2017, the weapon meta in Destiny 2 has changed and evolved over time. However, certain weapons have seemingly been able to defy the meta, proving to be consistently strong or being the best solution to overcoming certain difficult activities. Naturally, these weapons become fan favorites though they only complicate the development process for the developers at Bungie who are constantly attempting to balance the game’s many modes and activities while also introducing new gear each season such as the robust options added recently in Season of the Chosen....

The sixth week of Destiny 2’s Season of the Splicer is here, complete with a new Expunge mission and set of Seasonal Challenges. Most of the challenges this week are fairly easy to complete and not too time-intensive, a nice departure from the Valor challenge released last week. Killing enemies with Shotguns, countering Champions, and obtaining the Crucible ornament for Null Composure are a few things you can expect this week....

The final week of Destiny 2’s annual winter event known as The Dawning has begun. With a new year also here, players have begun to wonder what’s next for Destiny 2. The game was never in short supply of controversy over its first three months, with Eververse recently leading the charge much of the unique Dawning gear being locked behind a paywall and randomized engrams. Things continued to spiral downwards for the game recently after fans discovered that the game also places a hidden restriction on the amount of glimmer players could accumulate, which harkened back to a similar issue with XP a month earlier....

Under the Samantha Vega label—which caters to a different demographic than that of the other accessory lines under the Samantha Thavasa family—this accessories collection will feature themes and designs based on some popular Gen I Pokémon and the big bads of the Pokémon universe. Purses, wallets, charms, smartphone cases, and T-shirts are all part of this collection....

It can be used for various benefits as well that can help launch players forward in other paths to victory. Video game developer Dreamplant and publisher All In Games recently announced the Tainted Throne update for their rogue-lite dark fantasy game Arboria. This is the game’s sixth major update during its Steam Early Access phase, and brings with it a list of numerous new items, improvements, and quality of life fixes. The Tainted Throne update was announced by way of a press release and the Official Tainted Throne Update Trailer published to the All In Games YouTube channel....

It won’t be long before gamers are running through the nostalgia-inducing jungles of Crash Bandicoot once more, courtesy of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. The remastered game is a return of sorts for Sony’s long ignored mascot, and it’ll feature all three of the bandicoot’s initial adventures – albeit with a new coat of much needed paint. As fans await the chance to trek through the all too familiar vistas of the original games, the collection’s publisher Activision and developer Vicarious Visions have begun releasing additional gameplay snippets to satiate fans....

New gameplay footage of retro cartoon throwback game Cuphead reveals that it is no longer just about boss fights, but rather features traditional platforming as well. Dating back to its initial reveal, Cuphead has been all about boss fights. The game has been pushed as a being built entirely around epic boss battles with a 1930’s cartoon visual aesthetic, but now that’s going to change. A new slice of Cuphead gameplay has been revealed ahead of a probable showing at E3 2016, and it shines a spotlight on the new gameplay features that have been incorporated into the game since its latest delay....
