Frank West’s return in Dead Rising 4 may not have met the sales expectations that Capcom was hoping it would, but that isn’t to say the game was bad - it just wasn’t as good as many fans had expected it would be. In a rather direct response to this, Capcom community manager Jeffery Simpson has just announced that several fan requested improvements have now found their way to Dead Rising 4, with the studio having taken fan input directly and polished areas it would have otherwise perhaps not focused on....

Last November, Kojima Productions released Death Stranding for the PS4, which serves as the studio’s first-ever game since its establishment back in 2015. Now, video game retailer GameStop is currently offering a massive discount for Death Stranding, which reduces the game’s price to its lowest ever. However, players should remember that GameStop’s promotion for Death Stranding will only be available today, given that the discount is part of the store’s Deal of the Day....

Much like when The Dark Below DLC launched for Destiny, the Bungie community is buzzing with anticipation for the return of Xur. While plenty of players had burnt out on the Agent of the Nine long ago - having accumulated every exotic under the sun - now that there are new House of Wolves exotics in the pool, it’s highly likely those same people will be searching for Xur this weekend....

Destiny 2: Beyond Light brought many updates players have been eager to see. Guardians from the Destiny 2 universe are known for getting themselves into sticky situations, especially when fighting the Darkness or in the Crucible. However, one player has found one particular position that no Hunter should ever experience. In a post on Reddit, user u/retrorampage37 noticed that an image on the Destiny 2 Eververse storefront pictured a Hunter with their leg clipping into their body, musing “why are you (Bungie) creating these unrealistic beauty standards for us hunters to live up to?...

Destiny 2 has been dealing with a major exploit that has been responsible for the cancellation of Trials of Osiris multiple times over the last month. Bungie released a patch last week and brought Trials of Osiris back into the game, only to be canceled again the next day. Players have been exploiting Destiny 2’s rejoin feature in order to win-trade and secure a Flawless Passage, allowing players to go to the Lighthouse and claim the exclusive Flawless rewards....

A couple Destiny fans on Reddit come up with an idea for a new weapon to add to the shared world shooter, concepting and rendering out the design in 3D. Destiny’s monthly PvP event, Iron Banner, wraps up tonight after its first outing featuring the Rift gametype. Most players who participate in Iron Banner every month do so to get the new gear available from Lord Saladin, and hope for high Light level drops....

While DLC isn’t necessarily the be-all-end-all in video game marketing, it certainly is one of the ways publishers fight used game sales, and encourage gamers to hold onto game copies for longer while continuing to feed their revenue stream. However, a focus on DLC above all else certainly paints a publisher in a bad light. If the publisher focuses on DLC first, many might call into question their motives entirely....

Several months ago, the Dark Souls developer, From Software, officially announced during Microsoft’s E3 2018 press conference that it will be releasing the action-RPG, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, in 2019. Dauntless developer Phoenix Labs is set to make some big changes to the free-to-play action role-playing in the near future. Hideo Kojima and Geoff Keighley announced Death Stranding Director’s Cut last month during the Summer Game Fest. The Kojima-esque trailer gave out Metal Gear vibes with Sam Porter Bridges messing around with a box in order to stealthily get around some enemies. After making a debut appearance on the CW’s new superhero drama, Arrow, Deathstroke the Terminator is accepting a new batch of assassination contracts - the heroes and villains of Injustice: Gods Among Us.
