Destiny 2’s developer Bungie has talked for quite some time about how the game is continuing to grow in size and that the game cannot continue to grow infinitely. While Bungie had not explained how it plans to solve that problem previously, the studio was finally willing to discuss removing content as part of the reveal of the Beyond Light expansion reveal stream. Using what Bungie calls the Destiny Content Vault, or DCV for short, Bungie will remove older Destiny 2 content to make way for new content....

When poking through some Destiny 2 files, dataminers discovered an ornament for one of – if not the most infamous shotgun to ever release in Destiny 1. Anyone who played Destiny 1 back in its first year will remember the Felwinter’s Lie shotgun, and will probably either be very worried about its return or very excited. Here’s why: Pretty much every shotgun in Destiny can kill in one shot if the wielder gets up close....

Bungie has posted a tweet teasing the reveal of the next chapter for Destiny 2. The timing of the announcement seems to coincide with the post-release of the Season of Opulence that launches on June 4th and the short window of time in which players will be scrambling to complete the new content. Bungie recently clarified that players will have their power levels scaled down to a certain level during the race to the World-First completion of the new raid content, named the Crown of Sorrow....

Destiny 2 will offer “meaningful” features for PC players, promises the game’s publisher, Activision. Destiny 2 was announced for PC (alongside consoles) earlier this year, much to the delight of PC gamers who were disappointed that the first game in the shooting franchise skipped their platform. During the company’s latest quarterly financial briefing, Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg said that the Destiny 2 publisher is “committed to deliver meaningful features that are bespoke for the PC community....

After a few weeks off, Lord Saladin and his Iron Banner event has returned to the Tower. With Destiny 2 season 4 set to wrap up on November 27, this is the last chance for players to gain rank and packages with the Iron Lord. This is also the last chance to complete the full Iron Banner armor set for each class as well as obtain all associated weapons. In a recent post, Bungie also laid out a few other items which will no longer be obtainable once season 4 comes to an end....

Special effects wizards are in their element crafting and then destroying miniatures in order to create great visual effects. CGI artists can also accomplish this. Christopher Nolan looked at those options and decided neither was adequate; he had to use the real thing for his upcoming film Tenet. Tenet is the latest film from the celebrated director, and is generating plenty of hype after the release of a second trailer that premiered in Fortnite of all places....

Christmas has come early for subscribers of the MMO, Age of Conan, in the form or reduced subscription costs! Discounts are being offered if you sign up for extended playtime packages and if you pay for three months of the game, you receive a 20 percent subscriber discount. The six month term gets you a 30 percent subscriber discount and lastly, subscribers for a full one year duration will receive a 45 percent discount....

The cast and characters are already set for Matt Reeves’ The Batman, which will be returning a handful of popular villains from DC lore, including Catwoman, The Riddler, and The Penguin. One classic villain that isn’t credited to appear is Harvey Dent’s Two-Face, but that hasn’t stopped one fan from imagining who would portray the conflicted district attorney. The wait for The Batman’s release in March, 2022 will feel as lengthy as the Caped Crusader’s long Halloween....

One of the biggest features of the past generation has been photo modes, to the point where pretty much every AAA release is expected to have one. Cyberpunk 2077 is no different, with a photo mode planned to be available when the game launches on December 10. However, CD Projekt Red apparently isn’t content with a standard photo mode with basic functionality. The Twinblades are a group of weapons that only exist in Dark Souls 2. They are a variant of bladed weapons that are essentially a staff with whole swords on both ends, forming a unique polearm that must be held from the middle of the shaft. Due to their unique design and manner of wielding, they provide one of the most fun, and deadly, playstyles for melee builds. Although they require the player to get right up in their opponent’s face to be fully effective, as a result of their surprisingly short reach, they can unleash such a rapid storm of slashes that Twinblades can stagger a greater number of enemies than anything short of the greatweapons....

Despite the original Suicide Squad being a success from a financial perspective, the movie received plenty of criticism, earning a bad reputation even among the most loyal DC fans. According to the director, the original film was “a really heartfelt drama, which was ripped to pieces in an attempt to be turned into Deadpool.” After Zack Snyder’s Justice League was released on HBO Max, many fans yet again pivoted to a new hashtag on social media: #ReleasetheAyerCut....

The asymmetric survival horror game Dead by Daylight has added a new face to its roster of killers, which is perfect because this newcomer just loves faces – wearing them, that is. The legendary chainsaw-wielding madman, Leatherface, is here and he’s bringing whole new scares to the game. The Dead by Daylight DLC, appropriately named Leatherface, is available now on Steam. The chapter includes a new stage and a new killer, who comes with some gruesome new abilities....

Without a doubt, Death Stranding is easily one of the PS4’s most highly anticipated exclusives to date, as it will provide gamers with the first title from director Hideo Kojima ever since his tumultuous departure from the publisher and developer Konami. It’s the weekend, which means that Destiny players are searching the Tower for the exotic vendor Xur once again. For the week of March 17th, players can find Xur tucked in the Vanguard quarters, next to the big table that hosts Destiny Vanguards Zavala, Cayde-6, and Ikora Rey. Specifically, players can find Xur by spawning into the Tower, heading straight, zooming past Eris Morn and the Crucible vanguard, and then looking to the right in the back room....

As most Destiny 2 players should know by now, Friday means Xur day, when the game’s mysterious merchant shows up in a random location with four exotic items ready to sell. For now, Xur continues to only sell exotic gear that either launched with the game or was added in the first year. While these items feature semi-randomized rolls, many players continue to wait for the time when newer exotics finally start appearing for sale....

It seems that Destiny 2: Beyond Light’s Europa has a few secrets for players to discover over the coming months. Some Guardians have found a few secrets already such as collectible penguins, hidden loot platforms, and dead Exos. One secret item that is tied directly with Stasis is Entropic Shards. These Darkness shards must be broken for Guardians to unlock their first Stasis Aspect. There are nine Entropic Shards you can find on Europa....

It’s been a tough couple of weeks for Bungie, as the developer bides its time until the first expansion is available for Destiny 2. After fans noticed some improper XP scaling during a Clarion Call event, Bungie came out and confirmed it was removing a system that essentially throttled the amount of XP earned for players who participated in quick, consecutive events. While the change no doubt made fans happy, the end result has led to more unrest in the community....
